Communication was extremely limited--calls and messages largely went unanswered, and I was given little to no meaningful updates about the status of my car. After waiting over a week with no progress and no clear answers, I finally went to pick up my vehicle--only to find that absolutely no work had been done. Despite initial assurances, it became clear that nothing had even been started. When I tried to get an explanation, I was met with a dismissive and unprofessional attitude rather than any accountability. The lack of transparency, combined with the poor communication and apparent indifference, made the entire experience incredibly disappointing. Leaving a customer without their vehicle for 10 days with no work completed and minimal communication is simply unacceptable. I would strongly caution others before trusting this shop with their time or vehicle.

Todd even took the time to explain the leak and show me the problem gaskets. The shop is very clean and the team is very friendly. Todd is also a Jeep Wrangler owner so now I know who I will come back to in the future in Midland. They offer warranty on their work and parts also. I've used D&J before and liked their work so I went back. They got me in quickly and began working on my car. They could not find the reported problem but rather then sending me on my way they also inspected the other wheels incase the problem was in a different location. No stripped threads found. I'm very happy using D&J for my auto repairs and service. I trust their opinions and there work.

I made an appointment 7 days prior for a tire changeover from winter to summer tires (I wish I could've done it sooner). A couple of days before my appointment, I called and asked if they could add-on an electrical problem with a headlight and change the headlight and they said yes. I brought my car in a 1/2 hour early. They kept it for over 6 hours before Dennis telephoned me to say they didn't get to work on it because of working on cars from yesterday... really? He apologized and said they could start on it first thing Monday morning. I picked up my car and tires and told Dennis I was very disappointed in being treated this way and I asked if all their customers were treated this way - especially since I made the appointment 7 days prior. Dennis said well, they did have "other" cars to work on... how smug of him. Were the "other" cars on the schedule prior to mine... how ridiculous. This was so disrespectful to me that now, I will not disrespect myself by returning to Hampton Auto Repair to give them my business. It was just a few months ago that I spent over $1,000 there and was a regular customer, but no more. By the way, if I performed My job in this manner there would be consequences.
