I dropped my laundry off here twice for wash and fold while in town. They only charge $1 a lb and have it ready for you the same day! I dropped my laundry off at 2:30pm one day and it was ready before 6pm on the same day. Staff was very friendly and clothes were folded perfectly. Be aware I am so disappointedwith this laundromat. for the last 3 years with out any issue I used this laundromat. last week, I was using two machines when I take cloths to the dryer inside one of the washing machine I forgot lots of expensive cloths. I ask them if they keep at the lost and found they say we do not have lost and found ‍ From our conversation one thing I understand is that the cloth was there. even I ask them to check their camera if some one took my cloths ,but their response was the camera does not cover the whole area amazingly one of the camera was mounted above the washing machine. how come it does not cover the whole area? Even how come full of cloth from one machine will be lost ? If it not stolen or trashed? before you lost be awareit is really sad!!! read more

I patronized this business for nearly two years for wash and fold services. Over the past year, since new management changed, the quality of services has drastically declined. They have shrunk items, laundry comes back wrinkled and have even given me someone else's items. Also, I'm convinced they don't use Tide and Bounty any more either. My first time at a laundromat so I was super lost and didn't know how it all goes, I didn't know the process, lucky for me the lady at the counter was super helpful and very attentive, for me this place is pretty expensive $5.50 for a large washer and I guess .25¢ for a larger dryer, but that's a 7 min dry and that's not enough (as I just checked) so .50¢ should do it (we'll see) all told I guess $6 isn't that bad I pay a little less at the apt laundry room but I can't put money on my card so I had to come here Overall great experience lots of space, machines are different sizes which is nice so there's options and they have the fans blowing so it's not sweltering in here, they have the TV going and a place to sit while you wait. The wash is 30 min so you have a little time to go run out quick and run some more errands; they also have drop off service which is pretty awesome read more

I have used Dukes for 6 years. My average cost for wash and fold services is 25 per week. $1,300 a year, worth it to me. $1 per pound. I have always dropped off my stuff on the weekends. I was told today that the weekend rate is now $1.75 per pound! Almost double the cost! $2,704 per year! I can buy a washer/dryer and hire someone to do my laundry for less then the new costs. My compact washer died an ignominious death and I was forced to find laundromat to wash my bedding and duvet cover. I had read good things about this laundromat on yelp and decided to give it a try. The thing most appealing to me was that the place was clean and the owners were friendly. I walked in and it was like being in a different culture because I'm not used to taking my clothes to the laundromat. It's been many years. There were so many different sized washers and dryer's and I didn't know which washer would be the best for the things that I brought. I decided to use the wash and fold service and the owner was super friendly and helpful. I returned a few days later to pick up my laundry and it was folded and smelling fresh. Next time, I will take a walk on the wild side and use one of the machines, which looked clean and modern. The owner let me know that she can change bills for the needed quarters to use the machine which is convenient and helpful. I plan to return and tell friends. read more

Let me add to this...during this Pandemic everyone on staff here and all of their customers are wearing masks!! So not only for their great customer service, excellent job at wash & fold service, I will continue to come here because they mask, it is a safe environment to drop off, or to stay and do your laundry!! This laundry place it's old and dirty I had bad experience doing my bedding here I only use the laundry places to wash my big sheet and blankets. I brought my sheet. And they are white. The washer make them dirty. guys the machines in this places are super dirty. The owner never clean this machines. What can I say? This place rocks...I drop off my laundry and pick it up later that day (or the next day if I want). They fold and wash for not much more money than if I did it myself at my apartment. And no more collecting quarters, woooo! This place is fast , meaning when you drop off and pick up, you'll spend no more than 60 seconds in there, but bring some dollar bills...it's cash only. Great local laundromat. Bright, spacious, impeccably clean with friendly staff, free coffee and donuts (they even had bananas). Nice, clean machines. I came on a Friday night and there were plenty of free units. (it was raining so maybe that explains the light traffic). Even the bathroom was spacious and spotless. I used one of their super-capacity washers and got three large comforters washed in one load. (I live at Foxchase and have a laundry in my building but the machines are small and don't do a good job.) Three big screen TVs were on and I watched CNN, while the other played wrestling and a third showed Univision. I headed to my car to listen to the radio for a few minutes (it was a little warm inside) and saw the store owner on a ladder around the side of the building shining a flashlight on the roof. Apparently two kids were playing in the parking lot tossing their mom's keys back and forth when the boy hurled them onto the roof (I have no clue why, he must be a future quarterback). Mom was inside washing clothes. To make matters worse it had started to rain and it was chilly. I handed the owner a big Maglite I keep in my car but still they couldn't find it. Th search went on for at least 20 more minutes and the keys appeared. Big props to the owner for being a great guy. His son was also there and I saw them clean every, machine by hand, seriously. His son was even on his hands and knees vacuuming the entryway carpet with a shop vac. I saw the place polished from ship to stern. (I wonder if they were both in the Navy). While I was folding my stuff one of the comforters fell to the floor and I just shrugged. The place is cleaner than my apartment. I cant speak to the wash and fold service since I haven't used it but as a self-service laundromat this is perfect. read more

Yesterday was my first time using the fluff and fold service but I have nothing but good things to say. I took in a King-sized white comforter. The comforter was a dingy white bc every dry cleaner has refused to use bleach to clean it. I know about the dangers of bleach but honestly that doesn't make me feel good when I look at an off white comforter ever day. Also when I pay $30-$40 to get a item dry-cleaned I want it to look new. Yesterday, I dropped off the comforter and requested that bleach detergent be used. 2 hours later I returned to a PURE white comforter! I'll be back & I recommend! read more

Our washer broke and they did a good job with our laundry (wash and fold service). We brought them a lot of items, and they were very reasonable about the two comforters (which I believe normally range from ~$12-20 to wash). When we picked up the laundry it was quite a project to wrestle it into our small car, and a wallet was dropped in the parking lot. Another customer turned it in to them, and they got it back to us ASAP. In sum, we were very pleased with the service, and think the people who run this business are honest, hardworking, and worth a visit if you need a laundromat or wash and fold. I can't speak to any of the self-service aspects of this place, but I've used their wash and fold service and have been very pleased. Wash and fold is a notorious way to lose clothes, so I'm very picky about who I go to for it. As paranoid as it sounds, they let me weigh my bags before and after to ensure everything was there (I've had SO many places lose whole bags of my stuff!) and they weren't crappy about it at all. This is a super clean laundromat, ran by wonderful folks. Our washer broke, so we brought three loads of clothes in for drop-off service on a Saturday afternoon. They were done in TWO HOURS and they were folded beautifully. The price was fantastic, too--one dollar per pound, which came out to $34 for three loads of laundry. At that price, I may start paying for their service more often just to save myself the trouble. read more

I went here today to do my many loads of laundry. My dryer is broken. I haven't been to a laundromat in years. These people were great. I was clearly lost- needed change/soap/help with the machines. Nice customers and staff guided me to get the stuff I needed. A man was cleaning the machines as I did laundry. I can tell that this is a well cared for establishment. Yes- it is a busy laundromat. So the TV's are loud, it is busy, but definitely it has a good vibe. Parking is reasonable. I will be back as needed! read more

Wonderful place. Oscar and Evelyn, the owners, are total sweethearts. They are reasonably priced and very fast. Our washing machine broke and it's taken nearly a month to get it repaired, so I finally cracked and took about five loads in because my husband and I were going crazy. It took them two hours and everything was neatly folded and packed and they EVEN helped me load it back into my car! Fabulous service. Highly recommend. read more

Saga: my daughter wet the bed and our machine in our rental apartment wasnt big enough for a twin comforter. I took it, the mattress pad and some towels in for fluff and fold. They charged $18 for a twin comforter( ikea) and $12 for the (basic target) mattress pad. More than the cost of purchasing new, i think. Crazy. I was desperate so I coughed up the $. Cash only. With the towels, it was 50 bucks. I found a giant melted chewing gum stain when I got it home. We don't chew gum. I took it back and the manager Mike took my number and left a message to say when it would be ready. He was the best part of the entire deal. By far. I called back to say that I didn't have my ticket and was that ok to come get it anyway? Mike was not there so the other guy said it was fine. I later come to find, after the 10 minute trip there, that the guy did not speak a lick of English and refused to release the comforter. I always do my own laundry and usually I go here to do my 2 comforters that don't fit in our washer and dryer. The staff is nice and I never really had a problem. I get the big washing machines and the big dryers. Only thing I've ever seen is the dryers open up on their own sometimes and the staff say it's because they are too full. read more
