I'm not sure what to think about Duke's. A fun and friendly bartender tipped me off that this was a good spot to come for some special bottles in the area, so I had to check it out. Pulling in I wondered where I'd ended up, but the store itself was clean and secure, patrons and staff were friendly, and it had me leaving any concern I had at the door. I scoped out the shelves and saw a few fun bottles but not what I came for, so I asked the guy behind the counter. He was happy to chat and let me know what he had in stock, and then let me know that unfortunately, what I came for wasn't being released until Saturday. As a consolation he offered me a the little brother to the one I was after, which was awesome, especially at the price, so I snagged it and left a little of my money in the local economy. read more

I am a regular to this store for last few years and what they did to this store is amazing. New beer cave, improved wine selection, liquor options are great. read more

The gentlemen at the register was very friendly and the establishment had a decent selection of bottles for purchase; however, the area was a little on the scary side. Personally, it kinda made me ask myself if buying a a friend a celebratory birthday bottle was worth the risk of getting shot in the process. I know that might sound strange and I could have ready the area completely wrong as I am from another state but that was my impression. One other detail to note if you are looking for a mixer for your bottle the store does not offer Coke products for purchase if you are particular about your mixing beverage of choice and they do not accept plastic so make sure to bring cash. Overall the prices are competitive and if the issues above are not a concern for you the establishment is worth a visit if you are looking for your next tasty beverage. Recommendations to the management: Improve the lighting outside to increase the safety of your patrons, update and/or renovate the interior and exterior of the business to show pride in the business, and get a point of sale system to accommodate more patrons. read more

I cant believe no one has reviewed this place yet…read more Aside from eating as much Kewpee's as I can when I come to visit Lima, I try to eat as much of The Wine Sellers pizza as I can. The Wine Sellers is a liquor store that happens to make the best pizza in all of Lima, OH! I love that I can go in, grab a 6 pack of beer, grab a pie and go! The only down side is that it IS just a liquor store, so there is no seating. Its strictly take out. Their crust and sauce tastes like they put wine in it. It has a sweet taste but it isnt overbearing. Its just simply amazing! The cheese is the right amount and is just delightful! Also they cut the pizza into tiny squares, and for some reason, for me, it always makes the pizza taste better when its cut into sqaures. My aunt used to live next door, and I would walk to the Wine Seller on an almost daily basis to fulfill all my candy, drink and pizza needs! Can't wait to get back to Lima and have a couple slices!

What if I don't own a car and just phoned in a large carry out order, am I not able to pick it up? I'm not going to drive one block to go to Jerry's Drive Thru, (nor will I probably ever go there again), but I will walk another 2 blocks down to Valero because the owners are great folks.

I asked her why that effected my order and she said I don't know and started walking away. I told her that this is the reason I usually only order drinks because I'm not guaranteed I'll get my food during my HOUR lunch and she said uh uh thank you. I am not happy. I come here for my lunch break everyday out of convenience because that is exactly what it's for, convenience and even though I'm a regular customer I am constantly being forgotten about after being charged for my order. This is beyond ridiculous!! I'll be trying to find a different place to go during my hour lunch from now on. It's a shame because most of the workers are very nice and accommodating but that lady seems to conveniently forget about me and my orders far to often for me to feel like a valued daily costumer. Also, just let me add I am one person! I order one food item if I do. It's not as if I have a huge food order and items get left out. Forgetting my one salad I order on more then one occasion is extremely careless.
