The patio out back was almost painfully plain and open to look at- I feel like if they would invest some money they could give it a better vibe- but everything feels cheap. We ordered a glass of wine a little after 5 and all but three tables appeared available- around 5:30 the worker(owner?) showed us that our table had a (tiny-) paper on it saying it was reserved at 6pm. And asked us to move tables- when we looked all of the other EMPTY tables also had signs (and no people) saying they were also reserved for 6pm - anyhow- we quickly finished our glass of wine and left/ needless to say- not a very good experience- wouldn't return. On a positive note- the wine was decent.

I really enjoy this place and I've been visiting more and more often these days. It's just such a chill wine bar. The vibes are always on point, the staff is lovely (shoutout Chelsea for always being awesome), their selection is great, and the prices are fair. If you ever want to enjoy some food while sipping a glass you can order it from Hubbard Grill next door and they'll bring it over to you. If you want some entertainment during your visit, they have a TV but the people watching on High St is prime time. They also have an upstairs which is perfect if you have a party. Give them a visit next time you're in need of a relaxing time and a glass of your favorite wine.

The current specials include a BBQ pork pizza and garlic knots. The sweet BBQ pizza is delicious. Nicely baked. The garlic Knotts with a choice of two sauces were really good as well. Nice baked surface with mild amounts of garlic flavor. The beer cheese sauce was outstanding. It's hard to beat Acres Away if you like good wine (especially dry reds), good pizza and enjoy a relaxing country side setting.

Both were good, but nothing incredibly special or unexpected. One thing we did appreciate was how gluten free accommodating the restaurant is. Finally, we shared the lobster Mac and cheese. This was a huge let down to all of us who tried it- very few lobster pieces dispersed, and the dish was not cheesy at all. It was quite dry, and needed more cheese or bechamel to offset the crunch from the breadcrumbs on top. I love lobster Mac and like to try the dish at various restaurants- this is probably the worst of the ones I've tried in Columbus so far. Overall, we are not in a hurry to return to tucci's.

The setting itself is absolutely beautiful, but what makes this place worth repeating is that it is definitely more than just a standard winery. The property is surprisingly massive and even includes its own distillery, alongside an amazing selection of wines to choose from.
