When I questioned our waitress about it, she casually told me, "Yes, the doubles are always regular price and aren't included in the special." Excuse me? This "little side note" is absolutely nowhere on the menu, the flyers, or the Burger & Brew adverts sitting right on the tables. The ad literally says "ANY burger." We weren't even expecting to get them for $9.99--we just expected the $12.99-$13.99 upcharge we've been paying for months! To completely pull the special out from under us with zero warning or menu notation is just sneaky. It's incredibly frustrating to get nickeled and dimed when you're loyal customers.
