Duluth's shipping is terrible. I placed an online order on Sunday 01/05/25. On Monday 01/06/25 I was notified that the order was shipped and my credit card was charged. On Thursday 01/09/25, I checked the status of the order. Although a FedEx number has been issued the carrier has not even picked up the order yet. I called the company and they said the order left the warehouse and is on the trailer for pickup. Four days and it still has not left Duluth? The customer service representative advised me that I cannot cancel and request a refund until 01/21/25. This is totally unacceptable. Beware placing online orders with Duluth. I am beyond frustrated and I am out of options on what to do. It all started when I ordered 2 boxer briefs for my fiancé for Christmas on November 19th. I waited 2 weeks and they hadn't updated anything at all on the tracking website. So I called, I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for them to even answer the phone and they told me it was lost so they would arrange for it to get delivered as soon as possible (which the earliest was Dec. 30th! They said since it couldn't be any earlier, even though I ordered it on Nov. 19th. I am so frustrated honestly. Because I asked if they could send a tracking number or confirmation and they said no because they don't do that but once it ships I'll get the tracking number and all that. So then, I wait 3 days and they send me an email saying "ready to return your items?" But I never even got the package in the first place! It does say $0 return (but I think it's because it would've been an exchange) so I don't know what to do. I tried calling again today since I never got a tracking number or anything other than that return email saying to return my package. I got in contact with an agent and told her the situation and she said "let me put you on a brief hold" and then I waited 15 minutes for her to hang up! I am at loss of words on how unhelpful it has been to try and at least find out where my order is. The customer service is very bad during this holiday season and I'm so disappointed and upset. It was a $40 purchase and I do not make a lot of money, but this is my finances favorite underwear brand! The WORST customer experience I have ever encountered. Order placed 11/30 with statement that I would receive on 12/4. Check status on 12/4, the website says label created. Their receipt incorrectly said I ordered two short sleeve shirts but they ended up sending one short and one long. Judging from the other reviews, this is pretty much standard practice for them. I wish I had read the poor reviews prior to ordering. My husband likes a certain type of underwear from DT and we normally purchase it from Ace Hardware. Unfortunately they stopped carrying it this year so I decided to order directly from the DT company website. My order was definitely placed early enough to be guaranteed for delivery before Christmas but sat in processing for five days. Now it shows my items have shipped but will arrive after Christmas. I shop online alot and this is the worst company I've encountered with regards to shipping. Tried purchasing 2 sweaters, size medium in late Nov. 2023 via online site. They were too big and long for me and run larger than usual. I returned them in the box they came with using a return slip, and got confirm Dec 4 2023. Got two different emails stating return was in process between Dec 4 and Dec 8th, but never saw a refund yet. Called Dec 12th and they said they haven't gotten to it yet but give them until Friday Dec 15th to process it. As of Dec 18th it still has not processed and my card has not been refunded. Being a field technician I need clothes that are durable and can take a beating from the elements and everyday knee bends to stretching and reaching. I use to think "it's just for work" get a cheap pair of jeans but after a coworker introduced me to Duluth Firehose pants with stretching gusset I now am a firm believer of quality is worth spending Good money on. As anyone who works outside can tell you it's often difficult working in the elements and so if your clothes are comfortable this helps a lot to combat that. I would like to say, the bullpen underwear is great. It's the only kind I wear to work. As an arborist, it keeps things in order for the saddle. With the underwear success I tried the pants. Although very comfortable, with a nice design, they did not hold up in the least. They have snagged and ripped faster than any work pants I've purchased, including some cheap pants I've tried. They also shrunk in a couple wash cycles. I only dry on low heat as a lot of my work clothes are sensitive. Very frustrating as they cost double some, evidently more durable, brands. I've been a customer for years. In fact, I won a Duluth picture contest with two of my campers dressed up in their outerwear. I am a fan of their women's workwear. Especially their overalls. About a year ago, I bought a pair of Duluth garden overalls. I was wearing the overalls when I noticed that the fabric on one of the legs had melted. I thought I must have stood too close to our campfire. I wasn't burned, but the overalls were toast. Ok. I won't do that ever again. And since I liked the overalls, I replaced them with another pair. They arrived. I wore them. And the same thing happened. But this time, I was paying attention and never got closer than 5 feet to the fire, which isn't even an open fire. I called Duluth Trading Company. I spoke to three different levels of customer service. And was told the following #1 is a direct quote. 1. These overalls are made of 96% Ripstop Nylon and 4% Spandex. This material is not flame resistant. Any nylon will melt when too close to a fire. 2. These are garden overalls. They were not amused when I asked if I could smoke weed in the garden overalls without igniting into flames. Smoking in them is not recommended. BBQing is also not recommended--These overalls aren't made for fun just flames. 3. We can not share a corporate email (when I asked to email someone at their corporate office). Google was my friend, but Neala Shepherd, Vice President - Merchandising and Marketing, does not respond to emails or phone calls. 4. Please don't assume that it's our fault. Your leg was too close to the fire pit. The description of this product is for garden overalls. Not once did anyone ask if I was burned. 5. No, this is not a safety issue if people don't stand close to a fire. 7. This happens when you wear nylon. (IDK, my LLBean nylon-spandex pants have never melted...come to think of it--in all the years I've worn clothes melting has never been an issue. However, I have had a zipper get stuck before) 9: No, they would not replace them (which, for obvious reasons, I did not request) or refund my money despite this guarantee on every single page of their website. Clothing is of very good quality. My husband works construction and is outside in all weather conditions. The firehose cargo work pants have held up very well. No holes, rips or tears after 6 months of use. Wash up pretty good too. We hang them to dry to avoid shrinking. The return process was exceptionally challenging, if not designed to discourage returns: 1, i followed the online return instructions; yet, the site claimed that it could not recognize the order number or my email address, although both had been cut and pasted from DTC's confirmation of the original order 2, DTC intended to charge $7.99 for the return label, although the product was not actually fit for the purpose described on line. Following a phone call in which I explained that the product was therefore "defective," DTC said it would make a one-time exception and refund the 7.99 also.
