I've never had Indian ice cream before. The kheer is super creamy and flavorful. Delicious! Also tried the sitaphal and wasn't a big fan (not creamy and not as flavorful). Kheer all the way! Didn't try any other flavors this time around. Small detail but their take-out bags are super cute and colorful.
Our party needed a late sweet treat and to our surprise this spot is open late! I asked if they had a dairy free option and was directed to the basil mint sorbet and it was absolutely perfect. The decor is super welcoming with a plethora of options. The booths could use a cleaning as there were lots of sticky spots but that didnt bother us to much, just something to note. The employees were extremely helpful in navigating the best selections. Their signage and decorations are very classy and easy to read. Happy experience!
Drove about 25 minutes to come here for boba and walked in at 10:48 pm. The employee at the front told us they weren't serving boba because they close in 10 minutes. I completely understand places needing time to close down, but it was disappointing since the shop was still open and we had made the drive specifically for boba. It might be helpful if the store posted a cut-off time for boba orders or mentioned it before closing so customers don't make the trip expecting to order the main item on the menu. I probably wouldn't have written this review if the interaction had felt a bit more welcoming, but the way it was communicated made it seem like we were an inconvenience.
Walking through the doors of Dumont, I didn't notice expect to fall in love with the ice cream flavors that they offer. Without hesitation, I was given to taste multiple flavors after asking the worker what are their fan favorites. The unique yet bold flavors of their ice cream is truly what sets them apart from other creameries. I loved all the flavors I got to taste but when it came down to committing I got the Pandan and Hokey Pokey. My husband tried the Birthday Cake and Cookies and Snow and enjoyed every bite. After just moving to the Round Rock area the past few days, I am so glad that Dumont is so close to me. This shop will definitely see more of us!
I stumbled upon this creamery by pure accident one day while in Round Rock. I also had not idea that Dumont has roots in India, as a successful ice cream franchise in major metro areas of the country! So it would make sense that it pops up in heavily-Indian areas of Texas in the the Greater Austin and Dallas areas... When I stopped by, I was the only patron at the mid-afternoon hour. I treated myself to a scoop of cake & jam, but knew this place had a unique twist to it when I saw Indian-influenced flavors such as those with kheer and cardamom... The ice cream had a super creamy consistency and I loved the vibrant pink color. There was also a right amount of cake pieces, which is incredibly important. I will definitely come back to enjoy the cozy space some more and try other flavors! Luckily, there are plenty of locations around Texas to visit.

Rice Kheer Ice Cream!! Say it with me when you order!! I love that they have a variety of creative flavors and you can certainly sample them all. They do rotate and I can always find 2-3 options that I like every time I come. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Rice kheer Ice cream: Very creamy, sweet, with some nuts, and raisin. I appreciate that their ice cream doesn't have eggs. If they do include eggs, there will be a sign. Very allergy-friendly. Even looking at their drink options, price range is pretty good as well. Plenty of seating and a great place to hang out with friends.
Loved that this place in the same shopping center with my favorite Thai restaurant. They have ice creams, coffee, milk teas and smoothies etc. Variety of flavors of ice cream are available, and they will let you sample flavors if you'd like. We've tried 5-6 flavors and the worker here was very nice and helpful the whole time. I got pistachio and mint basil sorbet, and it was awesome. Didn't feel like the ice creams here are overly sweet. The regular two scoop option was pretty good for me and my husband to share together. It's a cute place to come and chill in a hot day, or after your meals. I would definitely come back and try different flavors of ice creams and probably their drinks as well!
Step aside, there's a new cafe in town called Dumont. I've tried their date cardamom latte, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I'm a fan of cardamom so this was immediately to my liking. However, there was another scent that I tasted and was not too fond of (date?). Regardless, it was still good after I got used to the flavor. As if this place can't get even better, they also sell a wide variety of yummy ice cream that they make in house. The staff was very friendly and kind, allowing us to try different flavors with the utmost patience. My favorite is their Ferraro ice cream. It has hazelnut chocolate bits that makes you craving for more in each bite. The interior is very cute with comfortable , velvet chairs. It's clean and perfect for a coffee date. Plenty of parking in the lot, though it can be limited in front of the store.

biscoff was classic biscoff with little grinder bits of the cookie, not too sweet which i feel like is kinda rare for that flavor mango sorbet was CRAZY, it was like a soft italian ice with a great mouth feel, would come back for that strawberry dubai chocolate is trendy, yet boring. $13 for a cup of chocolate and strawberries
They have tonsss of unique flavors and the staff is very helpful. I would come back here to study maybe (at the one lone table with an outlet) to try the coffee/boba/more ice cream flavors. We got something with bits of cake in it and it tasted really nutty too. Definitely different. Ambiance is very nice and clean.

3.8/5 I really enjoyed the kheer ice cream, it was flavorful, unique, and definitely the highlight of my visit. Unfortunately, I didn't have the same experience with the drinks and dessert. The matcha latte was disappointing; it had a strange milky taste and aftertaste, with very little matcha or strawberry flavor coming through. The coffee was somewhat better, but still nothing special. I also tried the banana pudding and the flavor itself was good, but it was very dry and cold. Even after warming it up, the texture didn't improve much. Service was a bit slow, and they almost forgot to give me my food, though the staff member was nice but seemed overwhelmed since she was by herself which I understand. Overall, the kheer flavor was great, but the other items could use improvement. read more
We were looking forward to try this place. Our family is bobba tea lover and we had to. Tried the Taro, the Strawberry fizz and Mango ice cream, forgot to request 75% sugar level but also I was like, I was not offered to modify my drink. Everything was OK, I was just expecting more viby customer service, like being offered other options or even the sugar level question but nothing. I think once the staff gets in the mood, this will be different but for now, I might come back in a couple of months. read more

Such a cool spot! The location is great, ample parking, and beautiful airy ambience. Best of all, they've got the most delicious Dubai Chocolate! It's so crunchy and high quality. The ice cream flavors are yummy, and service is friendly. It's our go to spot. read more

I have now become somewhat or a regular to this wonderful place. Not only is the decor beautiful and fits the dreamy theme of its sweets and treats. The flavors match the decor!! They are wonderful decor.. wonderful flavor's. I have now tried several drinks and ice creams. The horchata boba was perfectly sweet. You can tell by its flavors it was made with quality ingredients. When I visited and tried ice cream the staff was very patient with us explaining things and letting us try different flavors. Next up to try is the coffee and pastries! read more

This place is really close to us and I have been curious about it. I decided to take my son for a mid-week ice cream treat. This place is really cute. There are coffee drinks and tea drinks to choose from. They have a variety of ice creams to appease a sweet tooth's dream. I told the lady it was our first time there and she was so kind to let me try a few different flavors. All the ice cream flavors I tried were divine it was hard to choose. My son got cookies and snow and I settled in on pandan and Hokey Pokey which was a vanilla honey concoction. There's plenty of seating inside and there's a few tables outside as well. This place has Wi-Fi so I may consider coming here if I need a change in scenery from working at home. The menu is so overwhelming with different options. If I come for a drink or to work I need to study the menu ahead of time. read more
Love this spot! We had been to the dumont ice cream in Coppell are so glad there is a store in round rock. It's a beautiful store and they've spent a lot of time and effort to thoughtfully decorate the space. Our cashier was friendly and let us sample a multitude of ice creams. The ice cream is so nice, I got the filter coffee and my hubby got the butterscotch. Both were great and we loved the added touch of the color changing spoons which are fun for kids and adults alike! We will definitely be back. We got a small and medium ice cream for 13 dollars with tip! read more

I had a Pumpkin latte that I really enjoyed--it was perfectly sweet and so refreshing after a long, tiring day. Later, I found out there was no sugar added at all! The natural sweetness came from pumpkin, which made it even more special. It was smooth, comforting, and just what I needed to unwind. read more

So glad we got to try out this new spot tonight. We were greeted by their friendly staff who were so kind go explain the menu and let us try all their ice cream flavors. All I gotta say is WOW! The ice cream flavors were dancing in my mouth - I was so happy! I came for tea so ended up getting a delicious Mango Green tea but I am definitely coming back for the unique ice cream flavors. Oh and LOVE the cute decor, esp the wall with the history of Round Rock - very cute. Can't wait to take my kids here this weekend? read more

Sweet new ice cream, coffee spot off Old Settler's. We came by with our kiddos. All the ice creams were delicious. I got an affogato with the biscotti ice cream. My husband got the mocha. My son got the chocolate cupcake with sprinkles and my daughter got the chocolate Oreo cupcake. The kids devoured them. They have tons of comfy seating, free wifi and great service! We'll definitely be returning soon. read more

This place is great. The atmosphere was great. The place is clean and looks just the like the pictures. We were fortunate enough that it wasn't busy when we were there, so it was a nice and peaceful evening . I would've never known this place was here, if it wasn't for the advertisement on the newspaper. The drink on the left is the strawberry Matcha latte and the drink on the right is the Taro smoothie which were both pretty good and would recommend. read more

A wonderful new place! I'll start by saying I'm not usually a fan of boba, but this is the first place I actually like the whole boba experience! The drinks are yummy and the boba has a good flavor and texture. The ice cream is very good also; creamy, yummy goodness. I'm looking forward to coffees on another day. Driven solely by curiosity - visited Dumont today. Its focus isn't baked goods or even a vast confectionary selection. It appears to be ice cream and various caffeinated and non-caffeinated beverages. Saw the Dubai chocolate in the case and took the bait! Dark chocolate with crushed pistachios - delicious! read more

We tried Hokey Pokey and cookies and snow. Both were very rich and great flavors. The inside is very clean and the staff are friendly. We tried several different flavors and I didn't feel judged. The inside is super cute and they even have a couple of games to play like uno. read more
