Absolutely love this place, it reminds me of home and the staff is so warm and comforting. I always have a great experience, the pan dulce is delicious, and the breakfast tacos are perfection. If you are ever needing authentic pan dulce or tacos. This is the spot, also tamales are sold on certain days. Thank you Concha Feliz! Estoy FELIZ.

We had gone to the paletaria down the way many times and saw the sign for this place. This time we walked over to check it out. This place is well stocked with all sorts of baked goods. They even have a dulce de leche empanada! But for those of us that are gluten-free, the only items available are the custards, jello cups and the basic flan. There are some macarons but they seem to be brought in from somewhere else. The staff was nice. The store was clean and parking was easy being in a big lot but without many gluten free things it's hard for me to need to come back alone.

I paid a visit to this location two days ago to get fresh bread and conchas. Did ya'll know: Before the Spanish arrived to Mexico in the early 1500s, Aztecs (and all native indigenous populations that lived in North America at that time) primarily ate meals consisting of corn, squash, and beans. After conquering the ancient and thriving Aztec capital of Tenochtitlan, on what is now the Mexican plateau, the Spanish established Mexico City and designed it in the model of a little Spain. And with that, not only did European architecture take the place of many Indigenous architecture, food was replaced, too.The traditional corn and tortillas that the indigenous people of Mexico City grew and ate for so long was disrupted. The increasingly present European population wanted a grain they knew from the Old World: wheat. The indigenous population at first did not desire wheat, but it wasn't until someone was seen dipping their bread in hot chocolate that others around Mexico quickly caught on and turned it into a custom. Fast forward French influence, the combination of French and Mexican technique, panaderias were formed. Such panaderias are responsible for Pan Dulce or Conchas. Class dismissed! Yelp fam, you may have guessed based upon my historical knowledge of Pan Dulce, I absolutely 'am here for' a good concha, and this place delivers. These conchas served here pair perfectly with a cup of tea or coffee (which this establishment has). These conchas have a distinctive, slightly earthy flavor. Aside from the conchas purchased here, I also purchased fresh bread and cinnamon rolls. The bread is also fresh and sweet and has a pleasant aroma even after day three of purchase. Everything purchased from this location was fresh. If in the area, this is a local shop that should not be slept on! #supportlocal

This small bakery located in a strip center on Palm Valley Boulevard in Round Rock opened its doors in August 2022. Within the small confines of this space you'll find some freshly baked Mexican pastries, breads and cookies. They also have kolache's, donuts, cold drinks and even frozen cakes. Their system is simple. You grab a metal tray and tongs and select whatever you want from the display cases and bring it to the counter. They are open from 6 AM till 8 PM every day except Sunday (when they open at 7am). This is a great spot to stop on your early morning commute to work for a bite, however, they don't have coffee. And yes, there is a tip jar or a tip screen at the end of your transaction. Plenty of photos to get you through the door.

Glad it did. The menu isn't huge, but honestly that's usually a good sign -- focus on doing a smaller menu really well instead of serving 94 mediocre things and a sad waffle. I ordered the Bad Ass Bacon & Eggs plate. It came with thick-cut bacon, 2 eggs, hash brown casserole, wheat toast, and smoked salsa. Bacon - 9/10 This wasn't your average thin breakfast bacon. Thick-cut, almost pork belly style, with killer flavor and very meaty. Eggs - 9/10 Cooked perfectly and tasted fresh. Simple, but done right. Hash Brown Casserole - 8/10 Different than what I expected, but in a good way. Unique flavor and a great addition to the plate. Salsa - 7/10 Very homemade style salsa with a smoky flavor. Different, but really good. Atmosphere - 9/10 Loved the vibe. Cozy atmosphere, great music, and just an overall comfortable place to sit and enjoy breakfast. If this place was closer to home, I'd eat here often. Service - 10/10 Excellent service. Christy H. was friendly, attentive, and on point the whole time. Overall - 9/10 Definitely a must-try breakfast spot in Austin. They currently have four locations, and after eating here, it's easy to see why.

I order the yard bird. it was an oven baked chicken with veggies. good, but not worth $22. I could've made it at home. everyone else at the table basically ordered pancakes with eggs or French toast because the menu was literally that limited, there was no "oo I want to try that!" moment. The service was great as we were a big party. The staff kept coming to our table to apologize on the long wait times; which was confusing because there was barely anyone in the restaurant... but the parking lot was full? where were all of those people? I don't know. the experience wasn't bad but, it didn't hold up to the standard of whiskey cake that I'm used to. especially for $66. the Katy location was so good, it even smelled like whiskey cake. and I remembered this restaurant brand having more culinary forward items like their blue cheese chips during happy hour. (which i lovedddd) If I'm ever out in Round Rock again, I may give it another try, but it won't be for brunch.

We ordered the grilled cheese with tomato soup, chicken and waffles, and the strawberry and cream waffle with Biscoff spread. Before I get to the food, I want to recognize the excellent customer service. Since it was my first visit, I had quite a few questions. The employee helping us was patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. She walked us through all of the flight options, and let us know that everything was made fresh to order, so there would be a short wait. I appreciated the transparency, and when our food arrived I soon found out it was worth the wait. The standout for me was the grilled cheese waffle with tomato soup. The soup tasted homemade, with bright tomato flavor and generous chunks of tomato throughout. It was fresh, and absolutely delicious. The grilled cheese featured a flavorful muenster and provolone instead of the standard cheddar you find everywhere else, and the waffle itself was crispy on the outside with a perfect gooey cheese pull. My friend enjoyed the strawberry and cream waffle with Biscoff spread since I'm not a huge fan of Biscoff. I did try the strawberries and cream, though, and both were excellent. The strawberries were fresh, sweet, and firm, while the cream tasted rich and homemade. The chicken and waffles were outstanding. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and well seasoned, and the waffle had a wonderful texture: light and airy inside with a crisp exterior. It was served with syrup and a remoulade-style sauce. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully decorated with fun murals, word art and nods to Round Rock. For a first visit, Waffle Love made a fantastic impression. The next time I'm in Round Rock, I'll be ordering another waffle flight, probably the same 3 selections, just without the Biscoff spread.

I was patient until my niece was getting antsy, she finished her pastry, we both finished our mediocre coffees, still no toast... I checked and the Apple Pay time stamp went through more than 30 minutes prior. I asked staff if our toast was still coming and they replied rudely like I was being a jerk to even ask. Pagers for food when they went off were obnoxious beeping. Just give people a table number and carry it out to them. Maybe they have one little toaster and person in the back? That said once the food came, the tofu was DELICIOUS, and a large portion. We could have split it. Croissant was unimpressive as was their chocolate croissant.
