After two people in my family used Dun-Rite I decided to get a quote. Due to the size of my lawn, I did reach out to other companies for a competitive bid since this was going to be a larger financial undertaking than I expected. Mike's price came in lower than the other bids and his knowledge blew us away. His estimate included formal paperwork in addition to his licensing information, something we didn't get from anyone else. This company use to be good, but as of late, they are horrible and unreliable! Supposedly, they repaired my sprinkler system last year and, I now have the same problem with further damage to my system this year. They schedule appointments and don't show, nor do they have the common decency call. No one answers the phone; so, you most often have to leave messages on their answering machine. Do not waste your time scheduling an appointment with this company. They are truly untrustworthy and undependable! read more

I have never dealt with a more unprofessional company. I called to schedule an estimate for an additional zone of sprinklers. The tech was great and he sold the job. It took 3 days to get a call back to schedule the job. It was scheduled for today, a Thursday. I took off from work to await the tech's arrival. He NEVER showed up. After being a few hours late I began e-mailing and calling the office. Nobody answered or responded over the next 10 hours. I left several messages. Needless to say this company no called no showed to the job. I guess they don't need the cash or business. read more

This is the first review I have ever written and sadly it's not a good one. I was given dunrite's number by a friend who had used them for years. It took four calls before someone answered the phone. The gentleman that came to the house was wonderful. I had a very serious issue related to the sprinkler service. I've left multiple urgent messages with absolutely no response. Horrible customer service. My friend actually thought they might have gone out of business because he got no response to his three messages regarding his winterizing request. I have had them numerous times to fix a botched job on an old system. The service person was pleasant, and very efficient. I had to have my clock changed too, fast and perfect every times. All times, very reasonable, on time and I'm very happy with the results and price. I was very disappointed with this company! I hired them to winterize my sprinkler system but upon opening in the spring we found there was an issue, that they had missed something during the winterization process, resulting in a compromised system. It was not a big deal, I just requested that they resolve the issue. After several phone calls and several missed appointments, they stopped taking my calls and would not come out to repair the problem. I ended up having to hire a new company to come out and resolve the issue. I was very disappointed in their customer service. I even spoke to the owner, himself, he had assured me someone would be at my home to resolve the issue. Will not be using this company again, nor would I ever recommend them. read more
