So I used this company for a new irrigation system install on my previous home, and they did a nice job so I gave them a call again to get a quote for another new system for my new home. I made the appointment a week ago. They were supposed to come today between 12-2pm. They called yesterday to confirm. Today at 12:30 they called and said they were running late but could still come between 3:30-4. Ok no big deal. 4:00 comes and goes and nobody came. Called the office, no answer, left a message, no call back and nobody ever ended up showing up. I wasted one on the nicest days of the year waiting around for these guys. Extremely unprofessional. Had to a month to do an opening appointment and that didn't show up no call and when I called them they said my appointment was the following week. That day came and went again no show no call . I will never use them again. read more

We could not have been more pleased. They did not install our very old lawn irrigation system but repaired an old valve without putting down the previous people who had worked on the system. Our house is on a hill and required a valve that would prevent the water from being pulled from the house. TJ was personable, professional and explained every detail to my husband. He did not leave until all the zones were brought up to pressure. I joked and said that he would probably be seeing us again because I think that my husband is getting tired of playing wack-a-mole. Wow - this was by far the best experience with any installation I've had since I moved to Long Island 4 years ago. Danielle in the office was an absolute angel to deal with, and Michael made the entire installation process totally seamless and hassle free. I had to go out of town during the scheduled install date, but they were so on top of everything and were totally accommodating. When I returned, the sprinkler system was amazing - and, honestly, changed my life. I used to spend at least 7-10 hours a week watering my yard (ok yeah living in the Stone Age), and now I spend that time actually enjoying my garden and watching it grow 10 times more green and lush than it ever was before. When they first installed my system years ago, they were great. Last year I needed some modifications made to the system and the service guy that came to do the work was horrible. He made it seem like he was doing me a favor just to do what they were contracted to do. If you want to pay good money to be made to feel like an idiot, this is the company for you. Mike the owner was very personable and professional and gave me a fair pricd for my sprinkler system. No random issues during install or trying to stick it to the homeowner even more. On November 5th they totally never showed up or called at my son in laws house.The next day they e-mailed and rescheduled with him.Two weeks ago they scheduled my house for November 15.I got a text three days before on Friday the 12 that they will be there between 12-4 pm.So I take the day off and wait.At 3:13 I call them to make sure they will be here and no one answers call and I leave message.At 4:25 I call again and no answer and I don't leave message.At 4:56 I get a text that the tech is heading my way.At 5:15 tech shows up in total darkness and I asked him how can you see what your doing and if the zones will be blown out especially in back and he had no answer for me.The next day someone from office leaves a message on my phone that we can come out their on the 24 to do what they were supposed to do on the 15.NO I''M SORRY FOR SCREWING YOU UP BY YOU TAKING A DAY OFF WORK AND MY COMPANY BEING UNPROFESSIONAL AND ARROGANT.So I call office and speak to someone I think name was Lisa and said you don't show up and then you call next day and think I would reschedule with your company 9 days later.Her answer was that's all we have.Sorry but that is despicable way to act by a company and I hope their KARMA is paid back to them 10 FOLD.I also told her that I will be putting out what happened wherever I can on social media and her answer was it doesn't matter. read more

0 stars. Brookhaven had installed the sprinkler system in the house that I had bought 3 years ago. For the first opening and closing they were fine, but last summer I had an emergency and they were less than worthless. We had just put in a couple of thousand dollars of plants, bushes, etc. I was leaving that afternoon to meet my wife in Charleston. It was the end of July and it was much hotter than usual. A sprinkler head had broken and was continuing to spray water throughout the morning. I called Brookhaven and was told to shut down the system until they could fix it. When I asked them how soon they could get here they said that no one was "scheduled" to be there until next Tuesday. This was Wednesday so they wanted me to wait 6 days. I told them I had just put in thousands of dollars of plants and that they would all die. Plus, if the lawn and all of the other trees and plants went without water for 6 days, they would all die, too. They said they could not get there until next Tuesday. I said this was an emergency. Nothing. I said you put in the system and agreed to service it. Sorry, next Tuesday. I said let me talk to your boss. Sorry, he's not here and no one else to talk to. Completely unresponsive and unprofessional. Rude on top of it. So I called Harbor Irrigation in Huntington. They came the next day. Good riddance. read more

By far the best value for the money! What else can I say? They came to my home when scheduled. They came with the right people and right tools (including a vibratory plow). They did the lay out. They then did the work. They cleaned up and completed the job all in one day! That was they did the job of irrigating almost an acre of land requiring 9 zones. The following day. Brian from Brookhaven Irrigation came to my home and mapped out all nine zones and showed me how my new program panel operates. One of the best contractors I have ever had at my home. I just got my sprinklers installed last week and these guys did an excellent job!!! When the crew came to my house, they told me that I might need additional zones - which I told them that I cannot go over my budget. They worked it out so that I didn't have to get more zones so they kept it the same price and was able to cover all of the areas in my large lot. I am very happy with the work that they did. My lawn already looks hydrated and better! The crew was very hardworking and fast too. They put the controller in my garage as requested as well. Overall very satisfied with the work.
