We hired John and his crew to transform our front yard after our stoop construction. John was very reasonable with his prices and kept his appointment for the start date. He was in constant communication through text messages and upfront on everything that would be installed. We got John to plant several bushes, sod in the front yard, sprinklers and low voltage lighting. Worse company ever. The wife shows up yelling at the workers out of nowhere. I was embarrassed the neighbors stated she was screaming. I was not home. I don't need someone doing work for me where I can't trust them to not embarrass me by hiring them. They overcharged me because I am a woman. I wish I looked more into the price for what I needed. John just departed from my home a few moments ago and his great work has earned him a new repeat customer. John gave me a two hour window for arrival today and he arrived within the first half hour. He patiently and promptly assessed my sprinkler system and its manner of operation while getting no help from me. He blew out the lines and did a back flow test for a very reasonable $100.00. More importantly, he instantly diagnosed the location of a leak in my sprinkler system which previously resulted in very large water bills. John is the only person I would retain next spring to fix it. BOTTOM LINE: Retaining a new contractor is always an anxious experience for a person who is not handy or knowledgeable in the contractor's area. I've tried using other companies to complete my annual backflow test; big mistake. Thankfully, I found LILS, and I no longer have to worry about such things. Unfortunately, I have plenty of other things to worry about that LILS cannot help me with, but I'll leave that for another time. With other companies, they've come to my house, required me to be there, struggled to find my backflow device, and left without making any progress, essentially wasting both of our times. LILS comes without issue. You don't have to be there, they take care of everything for you, and send you a reasonable bill after a hassle-free experience. John is the best!! Extremely professional, competitively priced and genuinely cares about the work product and his customers. I just moved into a house that was in dire need of a lawn rehab. I needed full re-soiling and an irrigation installation. I called up several companies, including his, and shopped around for quotes. No other company treated me with the level of service and seriousness that John did. I don't know how any other companies have business because half of them never called me back after requesting a quote (I had to follow up constantly) and one guy over quoted me $1000 for the same work (and probably less quality)!! We had a few issues recently with our very old sprinkler system. Some of our sprinkler zones were stuck on and our control box was unresponsive. Luckily, we found John. He was able to identify the problems immediately and promptly fixed the issues and replaced our control box with a new system that is way easier to manage from our phones. He very is knowledgeable, informative and takes his time to answer your questions and really help you to understand. Let me start off by saying John is the best. I bought a house within the past few months started doing some minor yardwork outside ripping up decks putting down patio pavers and come to find out I had a problem with my previously installed irrigation system.
