I have had Mike and his great assistant Teddy to my house 4 times upon my new move to the desert. I had him install 9 ( YES, NINE) ceiling fans!!!!!! YUP, This house is that large and my ceilings are 12' feet! Talk about an obstacle course! He was very "matter of fact" and you didn't feel like he was pulling your leg or getting you to spend more money which most of the handymen in the valley are known for. I was completely disappointed with Ken's ability to remove a bracket from my wall. I had explained…read moreto him that the screws were stuck in the anchors, which allowed the screw to rotate, but the screw itself was not coming out. He then proceeded to use a screw driver to try and get the screws out, but he was unable to. I stepped out of the room and when I returned, there was a hole in the wall! I could've saved $100 and done that damage myself! He patched up the hole, but it looks terrible! Again, I could've done that myself and saved $100! The whole point of hiring a handyman was to save myself from a damaged wall. Not only did in pay for subpar work, but I have to fix the damage that was done. On a positive note he screwed the bracket into a stud and it's sturdy now. He was also able to install a ceiling fan, but I feel I paid too much for the service I received.
