There is NEVER a nurse available-just medical technicians, which all are not trained or knowledgeable about medications and they are trusted to care for this vulnerable population with no skill, training or nurse managers. The Administrator is never available and always behind a closed door. I've been coming to Sherwood for many years and it's sad to see the decline. It speaks volumes that the staff looks stressed and unhappy. I will NOT be recommending Sherwood to anyone anymore.

The staff are unfailingly kind and patient- they never make you feel rushed at all. They are knowledgeable, capable and everyone seems very happy there. They are currently going through a remodel and everything looks fresh, clean and beautiful. I have been there during the day as well as middle of night and have always been impressed with the manner of care everyone received. I am especially impressed with the way they treat the elderly memory care clients. They speak to them like real people, they sit with them while they're eating to make sure everyone is taken care of. There is a lot of one-on-one care given. The therapists working with my dad are phenomenal. I am impressed with every single person that I have met from cleaning staff to director. All the therapy is done in one big open area, so all the other patients can watch you struggle and hear your problems. Worse, there is no attention paid to cleanliness. Every doctor's and dentist's office I've ever seen had some kind of paper or plastic disposable covering on the tables and headrests, so you wouldn't get cooties from the previous patient. Not here --- they just have you lie on the same table and pillow everybody else has used that day. They even have you put your jacket in a bin that everybody else uses instead of hanging it up somewhere. I mean, even if it's an open bay, can't they spring for a few portable coatracks? Felt dirty after leaving, took a shower and washed my clothes as soon as I got home.

After explaining my feedback/frustration she said, "okay now it's my turn" "you [talking about me] don't need to school me right now" in response to me being shocked at her attitude in her comment mentioned before. I'm completely shocked that this is the standard of care/concern/customer service that Jamestown Family Health Clinic is standing by!
