Bate and switch. Ad for a pistol was different from the one on the case, same brand but cheaper pistol with the sales price on it. With that said the pistol next to it looked like the picture in the ad but was $100 dollars more. Just left the store, Saturday, August 20 @ 4 pm. I could find no one to help me get a high item. As I waited in line, there were 4 associates tucking it up very loudly. I could hear their entire conversation which was clearly just messing around. One talked about how he was the fastest at ringing up customers as I waited to be checked out. When I got my turn to check out, the person who checked me out told me she refused to apologize for their behavior. She also let me know that the blond in the conversation was the manager and today was her last day. It is great to know that I am paying prices to keep 4 people employed without having to work. I know there are down times at work but when the leader is leading such open foolery I really have to question other decisions being made in the store. read more

Wanted physically limited wife to try a piece of exercise equipment before purchasing. Floor model had bolts missing from seat and other bolts loose. I ask sales person if he would have fixed for demo. He said no. Only vendor can. Talked the story to stern and unprofessional asst mgr. Got same result. I told them if wife tried equipment and got hurt it would be on them. Cant believe they dont inspect equip. Lost that sale and sale of 2 guns i was going to purchase. Kids running the store. Bought a pair of walking shoes for $79.99 size 8.5 on Tuesday. Put them on to walk on a treadmill on Thursday morning and realized my heel was slipping out with each footstep. I realized I bought a 8.5 Wide. I had no receipt and had thrown away the box and tags as they fit pretty well in the store. My garbage collector picked them on that morning. I was able to print out a bill of sale from my Capitol One site but it was not itemized. They would not exchange them. They were obviously new and never worn. The manager said they could not look up the sale in their system and I know very well that every POS has a backhouse system that that is used to match sales to inventory. I am a senior on a fixed income and I just wanted an exchange. That's what I get for being honest. I will no longer shop at Dunhams because of their terrible customer service. Maybe that's why they are overstocked and searching for new employees. read more

Typical Dunhams, not much of a selection of womens work out clothes but stellar collection of Tigers clothes! And when you're a Tigers fan living in Chicago...this is a huge bonus! read more

Most Dunhams are the same. Decent prices, messy and short staffed, but I enjoy them all. The Lapeer store impressed me in that the gun counter was busy and yet they processed customers through quickly and friendly. read more

This is a older store, but when you come in it is packed with merchandise. Almost so much that it is hard to move around some of the aisles. The employees are friendly, but in the guns and ammo department it is hit and miss for someone that has any kind of knowledge. Overall they do have decent prices on most of their stuff. read more

Very unhappy with one of their employees. Called RIGHT BEFORE closing to see if they can hold 3 packages of pink eye sticks for our pink out youth football game. The guy said no problem I'll set them aside. I arrived next morning to find out they where sold and no more in stock. Now I have to explain to our coach that I couldn't get them. read more
