I bought a bow on a whim from an estate sale, having never done archery. Met a gentleman named Brian at the counter who adjusted the bow, helped me order new strings (and even told me how to get them cheaper elsewhere), showed me what else I might need/want, and then took me to a space within the store to let me shoot an arrow. He took the time to show me the ins and outs of how to hold the bow, make recommendations, and so on. One of things I want to commend him on is that he always asked if he could touch my body before adjusting my positioning. As a woman who has rarely (and unfortunately) had this basic question asked, I felt safe with Brian and very much appreciated him asking.
