Good store along Rt 22 in Monroeville. Nice selection of clothing, apparel, and sporting equipment at reasonable prices. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Clean and well organized store. I'm signed up for text email alerts and get coupons quite often and regularly. Visit often for my sporting goods needs. If not available in the store ordering online is easy and convenient. Came in to buy a 9mm, and the two guys at the weapon counter were terrific. Took time to help with hand fitting, pricing, and made solid recommendations. This store always feels a bit run-down, even though I can't pinpoint the reason. The available selection is decent, but not great. The prices aren't as low as I always expect them to be, but with a coupon (easy to find online) they can be acceptable if you happen to find what you need. The building where the store is located also has one of the dumbest entryways ever, with a large post between two automatic doors. It's well-marked with "caution tape," but I feel like I almost walk into it every time I visit, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. read more

DUNHAM'S IS AWFUL SNEAKY. I was happy they came into town. But thier policies are very misleading. I will give just 2 examples, there are more. 1 is the 20 to 23% off coupons on shoes and apparel, and also other items in the store. One stipulation is that item cannot be on sale or special. I will show you this, it's crazy, 1 penny off voids the coupon. Number 2 is price match" we will refund 100 % in the difference of price of another item, if it is the exact same item, and in stock ( even firearms). I found my rifle for 70 dollars less from mossberg themselves Only the small print says if the other store is FIVE MILES AWAY. The odds are very low and they know it. read more

I have to admit I do a lot of online shopping especially for sporting goods. I'm either looking for baseball equipment, hockey, softball, fitness, or weights all online. Online shopping is nice and convenient but it still doesn't beat actually going into a sporting goods store and actually looking around and touching the equipment. That's what you have here at Dunham's and I will go to Dunham's before I go to Dicks sporting goods. Dunham's has everything that you need in baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, and your football needs. My son likes archery and using a pellet gun and they have what we need for him to do this activity too. They have all of the name brands for a good price too. If you look around the cost is reasonable. I get a lot of my son's baseball, soccer, and hockey equipment here. I usually buy his baseballs at Dunham's, his glove, bats, batting gloves and much more. It's hard looking online and figuring out if the bat is quality because you have to feel it for your self. You actually want try on a baseball glove to see how it feels on your hand. The workers here are good too. They are nice and helpful and it seems like they like working here. Also it's not crowded most of the time. So you can look around and not be bothered or if you have a question you can easily find somebody for help. If you are active in sports, fitness, hunting and you haven't tried out Dunham's go check it out in Monroeville. You will find what you are looking for at a good price at no stress. read more

This store is a disaster. Had to run around the store to track down employees, and once you get them they seem absolutely miserable. Great prices but the service might be some of the worst I've ever seen. No sense of urgency at all and once you get them, they are beyond slow. read more

Very poor customer service. Waited 20 minutes while manager, cashier and other employee were all outside. really, they were all gather near the front door. Had an excellent experience for being a first time gun buyer. Robert Wratcher was the employee that assisted me with buying my first gun - mind you, I only have some knowledge of firearms, but he was extremely thorough with showing me guns, explanations of them, seemed highly knowledgeable and even walked me slowly through the paperwork. He said he had only been working there for about 3 weeks, but I would have guessed way longer with how he knew about the firearms, legalities on owning and being very helpful and patient. Attempted to get my son a portable basketball hoop with glass backboard because the Acrylic breaks too easy and Dunhams states they offer NO warranty for this $300-$1000 purchase. They didnt have the one we wanted in stock ($900) we asked the salesperson if we could buy the floor model he stated yes but "i dont know how we will disassemble " he gets his manager and she says they dont sell the display. When i ask for clarification she states they do sell displays but not this one bc someone came in and put it together for them, and because they only sell displays that are discontinued. She tells the staff to go check the warehouse or other stores. Nobody has it, she doesnt know when it will be ordered or in the warehouse but she knows its not discontinued. She also tells us she cant order it?!?!?! What?!?!?! so they have a 1000 dollar item sitting in a store that cant be purchased or ordered?!?!?! Umm CORPORATE you may want to evaluate your current practice. Dicks sporting googs may not have what we wanted either BUT they do offer warranties. read more

This store is the worst. I only gave it one star because they offer a AAA discount which elevates them slightly. I have so many stories but here is the most recent. They have a sale on gym bags. But the bags are blocked by all the carts. If you want to look at them, an employee has to get a long pole and bring them down one by one. I wanted a bag with a waterproof compartment. All I was told was to "try Under Armor." That would be okay if I could reach each bag and read the tags but couldn't do that. I wasn't about to stand there and have the employee go fishing for bags. I'll head over to their competitor now - just won't get the same price. read more
