We did a little online searching and came across a perfectly sized blue table with grey drawers sold here at Kirkland's. Having never been here, I wasn't very clear on where to go. We wondered around the store looking for this table when low and behold we look up at some point to see it displayed high up on a platform. I guess this creates more floor room but not super convenient to get to. We get an associate and express the interest in purchasing it. We are then told it's on clearance and is the last one available. I asked if there was anything wrong with it, and was told no, so SOLD. Now we have to wait for someone to get it off the wall. This proved pretty challenging oddly enough. So this store reminds me of a cheaper version of Pier One. Lots of cute home décor items, some small furniture and other various items. They have some cute stuff so if you're at the mall in Monroeville it's worth a stop.

This location is hit or miss. There are times where it is well organized and there is a great selection and there are times where it feels like someone just randomly dropped things in with no order or sense of why. Service is kind of hit or miss too. There are times that the line is extremely long and it is hard to find someone to ask questions to and there are times where it seems you bump into associates everywhere. Im short, it can be a great place for bargain hunting, but it can also leave you with nothing but an empty cart and frustration.

The cleanliness and organization of this store is sub-par over several visits. You can be a thrift store and be tidy at the same time, trust me. Try some other thrift/discount stores and you will see (Rose's in West Mifflin for one or any Ollie's or Big Lots). It's absolutely stunning and you could spend ages wandering around here checking out all of the lanters and statues and everything you can imagine. Absolutely amazing. The stuff isn't even too expensive. Unfortunately, I get the distinct impression they might not be in business for too much longer and that might be why things are priced so decently, however I certainly hope I am wrong.
