There are times when they…read moreseem to want to rush to help you and other times when they can't be bothered to know you are there at all. One time I came in I was looking for a dress to wear to a gala. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I had three different people pulling dresses that were in my size and price point. They helped me zip and unzip and gave me honest opinions on which ones looked the best. Another time I came in looking for a gold dress for a show I was in. You would have thought I had leprosy or something because I could not get any help at all with any of the questions I had (or even to ask about getting a fitting room). I wonder if the difference was mentioning it was for a show so they thought they couldn't upsell me as much as when I was looking for a dress for a gala? Maybe. But it rubbed me the wrong way that the service could be so incredibly inconsistent when both times I went in looking for a special occasion dress. I will say that I do like that they carry a wide variety of styles and price points in plus size formal dresses. It is surprising how hard it is to actually find in person items to try on. And you can get some really nice dresses for under $200. I just wish the service was more consistent.

Dorothy, who was the tailor, was also really helpful in understanding the changes that would be needed. Appreciate the staff here tremendously!

Instead of renting a dumpster…read morelike we should have, we loaded up the bed of our truck and took it to the Monroeville landfill. Getting there, the guy told us they would hold our credit card until we get back. HEADS UP: Every person needs a hard hard, steel toe boots and a visible vest to get out of the car/truck at the dump to unload. They let us buy a hard hat and vest there. Make sure to have your vehicle registration ready. You might wanna wear long sleeves and a mask to help with the stinky air when you get to the dump sight. We had a hard time finding the actual place to dump our stuff at once we left the credit card at the trailer. There weren't really any signs indicating where we should go, so we just tried to follow some of the city waste trucks. There were some people in CAT vehicles creating paths in the landscape. They honked and pointed at us to show us the way because we were clearly lost. We unloaded and it smelled pretty bad all the while. It was quite the adventure. Everybody else seemed to get in and out pretty smoothly. The person in the trailer who charged us and gave us back our credit card was very cordial. It is probably most cost effective to just rent a dumpster, but oh what fun.

It started with the weigh station employee speaking very quickly at me, saying that the base rate is $130 plus whatever your weight, which I thought was super high for only having 1/4 ton of old deck lumber. Then I drive up to dump to the dumping area and the employee running the machine is pointing to go backwards, so I did, yet that was the wrong direction and he wanted me to back in at an angle, but he sure did have a very short temper. Overall would not dump here anymore due to my experience. FUN FACT: bring your own neon vest and hard hat or they will CHARGE YOU $20!
