This ranch is absolutely beautiful and so serene. From the moment we drove onto the property, we…read morefelt at peace. I didn't catch her name but the woman who greeted us first was so warm & welcoming. We went for their goat yoga class and we were pleasantly surprised by a tour of the farm & getting to meet & feed some of the other animals. Manish told us all about all the animals & the farm's sustainable energy and made sure we were enjoying the pre-class tour with lots of jokes. We got to carry the goats from their pen to the yoga area and it was such a cool experience. The class was great -- a good workout with lots of entertainment from jumping baby goats. Our instructor told us about the symbolism of having a goat place all 4 hooves on your back being a gateway to releasing any tension or negativity. Even with a class of about 15 people, they made sure to give all of us plenty of opportunities for the goats to get onto our backs. Those of us who are usually a little nervous around excited animals even felt comfortable enough to play with the adorable baby goats and we were all sad to leave them. If you're looking for a calming, nature focused experience, I would definitely recommend visiting 24 Karat Ranch! It's run by such sweet people and the baby goats are adorable. They offer a bunch of other activities as well so definitely give them a try.

Spent three days there with my battle buddy on a turkey hunt. Everything was taken care of; meals,…read morelodging, guides, and game. I harvested my turkey on the first day. It came off of the roost thru a choke point just after the hen flock came out. The guide told me which Tom to harvest. The first shot I had was a full frontal at 25 meters. The guide told me to hold fire. A doe that came up to me within 5 meters spooked the toms when she got downwind of me, I think she was trying to smell my behind, which apparently she did. The toms started speeding up at a flank perspective. The guide slowed them down with some masterful calling. He gave me OK to shoot and I hit the designated Tom at 35 meters. The guide told me later that he was afraid that I would put some shot into the toms in front of my designated tom. This was my first time hunting with a shotgun. Good flock management. I hit the Tom straight in neck and head, but the guide still rushed out to catch Tom in case he tried to run to the saw palmetto scrub. They only allow turkey hunting, but I saw at least 40 hogs and boar, and twenty deer, including the curious doe that circled behind me to smell my scent. I saw at least a 100 turkeys. They have ten feeders that they run, which keep the deer, hogs and turkey well fed. They have established a safe zone around the hunting lodge which the deer and turkey have taken advantage. It was a good opportunity to practice my calling while my battle buddy was still out harvesting his tom. If you need to harvest an Osceola turkey for your grand slam, this is the place to come.
