Well crap...my never ending Dunkin Donuts Northern Virginia debacle has claimed yet another Dunkin Donuts franchise that will be removed from the places I would frequent. The last review I left for this location was pretty favorable, but it was left 3 years ago. Since I left that review, service at this location has declined severely. I hadn't done an updated review on it and I honestly regret not updating my review sooner than this, but like I said the service has declined to the point where I don't even think about this Dunkin Donuts as a viable option for places to get coffee. I used to work in the same shopping center as this Dunkin Donuts so I would go there once or twice a week and when I was doing that honestly it was hit-or-miss 75% of the time my order would suck or be wrong. But the staff there was for the most part friendly...but I will warn you that most of them BARELY speak English. When my order was messed up complaining to the owner gets you nowhere. The owner used to come into my restaurant and get food and whenever he did he ALWAYS demanded a discount. But when I was going to this Dunkin Donuts 2 to 3 times a week getting coffee and Donuts for my staff he NEVER gave me, or anyone else at my store a discount. That's pretty messed up, don't you think? Back to my visit today...I ordered my usual, Large Hazelnut Iced Coffee, no sugar extra cream. And a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese on both sides. When I got my coffee it was so sweet it made my teeth hurt. So I dumped out some of the coffee and I asked the girl behind the counter to just please add some more coffee to the cup. I didn't ask her to dump any more coffee out...but she proceeded to dump over half of the ice and coffee down the drain and then she added more coffee to the cup. But because she didn't listen(or maybe she just didn't understand me b/c of the language barrier) now my coffee has no hazelnut flavor, barely any cream and is lukewarm instead of iced. So I tried to tell the girl what the problem was now and she just looked at me like I was a moron and then grabbed the cup and poured 1/2 of it down the drain again!!!! I mean COME ON NOW WTF!?! So I went back up to the register asked for my money back because I didn't want that crappy cup of coffee, and there was no way in hell I was going to have that chick who can't make a cup of coffee to save her life try to make me another cup. The lady behind the counter asked if I wanted my money back on the bagel and I told her no because they already made it at that point. And I left. I get to my car open the bagel bag, and there is enough cream cheese for a dozen bagels on my ONE bagel. I am posting pictures below, why on earth would ANYONE ever eat that much cream cheese? It was just disgusting and made a huge mess because all that excess cream cheese oozed out of the bagel and all over the bag and got all over my hands. So YET AGAIN, I have been failed by one of these crappily franchised DD in NOVA. Dunkin Donuts used to be my favorite place to get coffee, but no more because I cannot seem to find a single one in Northern Virginia that can do anything right. This was my first experience at this Dunkin and will definitely be my last. I decided to use the drive thru, BIG MISTAKE. They were out of croissants so I made the worse mistake ever by ordering the breakfast wrap. On reaching the cashier who was very polite , he said the wait would be a few minutes. I could see the person preparing the meal she was all over the place. I was waiting for over 10 minutes and when she finally came over she was without an apology handed me the bag with so much attitude and turned away denying me the opportunity to request any condiments or napkins. Her interaction with me showed her lack of customer service skills. This rude and unacceptable behavior should not be the norm at a reputable establishment. read more

The few times i have tried this DD location, it always unclean and the staff always seem confused. Either the place has a bad odor and lose trash around the trash area and floor. The staff never seem to understand that i just want black coffee. I'm scared to get anything other than coffee in here, even though that has been hit and miss. This location is convenient but it looks like i need to make the extra drive elsewhere. read more

I am a huge coffee lover (read my other reviews). I go out of my way for specialty coffee shops. However, if my choices are limited to the popular coffee chains, I would confidently choose Dunkin over Starbucks each time. The iced coffee here (original blend) is so delicious. My only qualm is that the chain still serves hot coffee in styrofoam. read more

I went here a few hours ago and I must admit they have been providing consistent great service! The staff is always smiling, they recommend items or larger sizes at a slight increase in price, and the store is clean all the time. They are busy in the morning but DDon't let that stop you from going, they work fast to get you coffee, breakfast, and doughnuts. I love when I have a mobile coupon, how helpful and educated the staff is about what deals are going on. They simply scan and keep it moving. My favorite doughnut is their new summer crave (I think that's the name). Kudos to the time for being on point and treating everyone with some much love! read more

I love going there for my large hot coffee with cream and sugar they have the best regular coffee!!! and sometimes this one guy that works there(never got his name I should ask him next time) see me walking in by the time I get to the register my coffee is already there, he actually remembers my order that's petty impassive! I'm only giving 4 stars because I had a unpleasant experience there one time with another staff. She was petty rude ( don't know her name either) so due to COVID 19 many places requires wearing face masks and some places are optional. I've been going there awhile now after COVID-19 started and masks was always optional, but I guess they just recently decided few weeks ago that face masks are now a must have which there wasn't a sign or anything at the door at the time( now they do ) so I wasn't aware I had to wear a mask( though it was optional) so that day soon as i walked in I got yelled at by that woman who works there I need to wear a mask. yes,I said yelling not asking... I thought it was so rude and unprofessional to yelled at your customer. And I do understand we are all in this Pandemic together we have to be careful but while we are fighting this disease we can all still try to be nice to each other. read more

I'm a coffee person and I like coffee. I don't live off of it but I appreciate a good cup of joe. Sadly, Dunkin NEVER provides that. I know Dunkin is probably better known for their donuts and I can say their donuts are alright. I'm not a fan of donuts or sweets so I can't say its good or bad. The coffee on the other hand is terrible. Everytime I go to Dunkin Donuts I get anxiety. WHY is it so hard to order coffee?! I know Dunkin Donuts is a franchise and its individually opened and operated but does EVERY Dunkin Donuts need to be dissapointing? I thought that since I went to one Dunkin Donuts and it was bad, i went to a few others thinking "maybe this one by ___ store just isn't good, I'll try this one." NOPE, everytime. The ice coffee is always watered down. I don't like my coffee too sweet or with too much cream but they manage to mess it up every time! I have been to a gagillion coffee places and they have never managed to mess up my coffee like good ol Dunkin Donuts. I'm sitting here with my Ice hazelnut coffee that tastes like coffee flavored water. NEVER AGAIN. I'm officially writing off Dunkin Donuts as a possible coffee place. I rather drive down the street a few more minutes to Starbucks. read more

Worst customer service ever. I saw two drinks on the counter and couldn't see the labels on the cups because the labels were faced the other way. I picked up a drink to see if it was mine and this worker started to yell at me because I touched the cup. Instead of yelling at your customers, maybe talking to them politely? I work around the corner so Im here almost every day,, donuts are always fresh and the customer service is always good. I'm usually just in there for coffee and I'm always in and out in just a few minutes. Download the Dunkin' Donuts app for your phone and you get a lot a daily specials or you can link a Dunkin card to it and you can pay with your phone at the register it's really convenient. Coming here for Friday coffee with my friend. We like this pace. Very nice and friendly stuff. Donuts are fresh and delicious. They always smile and happy to accommodate my request for specific coffee preparation. Also, the place is very clean. Clean, well ran establishment. I stopped in today for the first time in several months and the gentleman who was working, Larry, gave me a friendly greeting, asked how I was doing then said "Iced Latte, right?" Considering I hadn't been here in months I was impressed that he had remembered. Even if he was just taking a guess it was still impressive. The coffee is better and more economical than Starbucks. They do forget to toast your bagel! And idk who this Emily is complaining about "too much" cream cheese... there was never enough on my bagels so I stopped going here. Maybe if you're going to pay extra for cream cheese it's better to have too much than not enough??? Okay Emily bye. Very disappointed with this particular DD. I arrived at 5:02am (they open at 5:00am) to buy special birthday donuts before work. I waited outside until 5:09 and the door was sill locked and no one was inside. I was so upset because not only did I not get the Birthday boy his donuts, but I didn't get my coffee and I love their coffee. I gave them an extra star only because when I have gone there in the past they have been friendly and very fast with making my coffee. read more
