    Ranchero wrap (sausage)
    Sarah S.

I live in Kingstowne and this is my go-to spot for a quick breakfast. Normally, I get a sausage/egg/cheese on an everything bagel but occasionally I get the Ranchero wrap. The Ranchero is huge with 3 eggs, tons of meat protein (bacon/ turkey or pork sausage) and spicy cream cheese. I also travel a lot for work and either pick up a quick breakfast sandwich or swing by to buy some bagels and their in-house cream cheese (which is way better than store bought in my opinion) for my trip. Service has always been fast and friendly. For those dining in- the location has plenty of parking and ample tables and chairs. Many patrons are regulars and the noise is not too high. Terrific spot!

Great place to grab some to go breakfast! Went in on a Saturday morning and even though it was really busy, we were greeted promptly and given suggestions. Our order came out pretty quick and tasted really good. The prices are also super affordable. I do wish it was a bit toastier but We will definitely keep coming back!

I'm thinking that coming to Manchester Bagel earlier in the morning would be the best time because our subsequent visits were a little less agreeable. We came in the early afternoon, and we ordered the toasted jalapeno bagel with one with the veg cream cheese spread and one with the scallion cream cheese spread; the bagels were not as I remember being, with its slightly crisp exterior with the slightly chewy interior; instead, it was super chewy and kind of had a day-old taste to them; they are still pretty generous with their shmears, which I appreciated. Too bad, as I thought that we could make this our regular bagel spot in the NoVA area... Service is still friendly! Note that there are 2 lines in the store - you place your order with one of the staff members on the left, and then you go over to the right to pay and pickup your order. Plenty of parking in the plaza parking lot. +inconsistent bagels +located next to Amazon Fresh +plenty of parking in shared plaza lot

Everything bagel with butter and I had to be kind of good! Lol, added fruit!

I relocated from NYC to Virginia years ago and started missing my bagels! There also was a place in NJ where my friends would go early in the morn and see the bagels getting made. I tried this place not too long ago and I felt like I was back home! The Everything bagel was good and 2 weeks later, same bagel with egg! My new spot now. The staff were friendly also. How did I bypass this place? I'll be back!

    Tostini Country Style on Focaccia

Walking into this joint is quite a welcoming experience. It smells nice, it's warm, and it plays a nice selection of music. Their set up is interesting but efficient. You get in one line to place your order and then you get into another line to pay (the cashier will probably already have your order from the other employee). This helps eliminate some of the wait time for the food because while the food is being prepped you're busy paying and it doesn't feel like waiting. I love these magic mind tricks! For the food, I'd say that this is an average breakfast place. They're not doing anything super creative to make them stand out from the crowd and the food they have is good food that I'd get again. I just won't expect much from it other than to hit the spot and fill me up. Overall, a 3.5* experience. What we got: Sausage, egg, and cheese (on challah bagel) - 4* your standard deli sausage, egg, and cheese. Nothing special here. I really liked the challah bagel though and am happy I finally got to try it. 4* for being good and not making me feel like I'm eating grease. Tostini Country Style - 3* I was excited to try this. I was disappointed by the focaccia though. I think it would've been better if the focaccia had been toasted first, and maybe that's something you can ask for. It's a fluffier bread than I expected and as such the bottom was a little soggy by the time I got home (we ordered to go, it might be better as an in-house eat). The bell peppers were a nice topping and the turkey-sausage, egg, and cheese was all pretty standard.

While we really enjoy all of the servers we've had at Mikes, Alicia takes the cake. If there's any way to provide her with recognition, I would highly vouch for it. Since the reservation form asked if we were celebrating anything, I hoped we would be placed in a special area or at least somewhere more intimate. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We were led up a staircase, which offered a cool view of the environment, but ended up at a small table in a small high traffic area. Initially, we thought it was a unique experience because of the restaurant's interior design, but we soon realized it was going to be uncomfortable...because heat rises and we were stuck upstairs with so many other people who seemed just as warm as us. It was excessively hot, and I found myself fanning myself with one of the menus at the table. While our server was probably trying his best, the service left much to be desired. We were eager to leave as soon as we arrived. After ordering and enjoying what we could of our meals, which were quite good, we just wanted to leave. However, our server was absent for a long time, leaving us stuck at the table. Instead of being a cute little anniversary dinner, it just turned out to be a disappointing experience at a new restaurant

Dear reader,…read more Firebirds was a thoroughly lovely experience and exactly the sort of place one hopes for when the evening calls for a proper cocktail and a comfortable perch at the bar. We sat there for the evening and had such a fun time, due in no small part to the bartender, who was super nice, genuinely funny, and clearly knew their way around a cocktail. A charming and commendable combination. The atmosphere strikes a very pleasing balance. It feels warm and inviting with a slightly upscale air, but never in a way that feels stuffy or overly serious. Everything felt polished, the service was great, and the whole place had that easy, settled-in quality that makes you want to stay for another round rather than rush off to the next engagement. I also especially liked the Seared Ahi Tuna, which was absolutely worth ordering and deserves its moment of recognition. Overall, Firebirds delivered a very enjoyable evening with good drinks, great service, and an atmosphere that made lingering feel like the correct decision. Not what I expected but it will suit specific people looking for their offerings. Burton's Grill is your typical all American restaurant but focuses on serving all the dietary needs of Americans with allergies or not. The place looks new, the kind of place you wanna wear clean clothes at a minimum and not look slovenly. Outside sitting, full large bar, sports on several TVs above the center of the bar, and a lot of servers milling around here. Great lighting, not loud but not quiet either, just chill. We were starved so our eyes ate. Brunch was still being served till 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays so I grabbed the French Toast and the Steak and Eggs. My friend had allergies with gluten so she went with a salmon and some super salad dish. She was happy as all the dishes had markers for gluten free, food free, soul free, etc. Very helpful for all allergy infused humans. Great waitress btw. Fantastic service. Food came after some time, we requested for everything to come out on time. Steak and egg was okay but I'd go with the prime rib next time. The steak came out sliced with 2 poached eggs on top. The hash on the side was on point. Salmon okay too. Salad was okay but we should have added a protein on top. A little dry on dressing maybe but we could have requested more so that's on us. On the other hand, the French toast had me scratching my head. It was cubed challah bread but eggs was 0, zero, nada eggs on it. I thought I was eating croutons which would have gone great with the super salad dish thinking about it now. The French toast really bunched up my undies, French toast is my favorite breakfast thing you see. They explained it was prepped that way for allergy sake due to the egg. Well, I'm not allergic and never said I was, but my friend was but she wasn't eating my dish so why make it in this fashion. Overall, this experience was just okay. Nice environment and service but I realized how lucky I am not to be allergic cause if I have to eat French toast like this forever, I'm not sure what to do. Definitely not up to eating croutons with syrup.
