The experience at this Dunkin' location for breakfast is always a mixed bag. My go-to is the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on a Croissant, paired with a hot medium coffee with caramel flavor. It is made fast, and gets the job done. The croissant sandwich is surprisingly good, especially if you get a fresh, warm croissant; it's buttery and flaky, which elevates the standard hockey-puck egg and thin bacon. Although Im not a huge fan of the egg texture. The downside is consistency. Sometimes the sandwich is perfect, and sometimes the whole thing is cold or the hash browns are soggy and sad. You're never going to get a gourmet meal, but for a quick, cheap, and convenient breakfast drive-thru, it hits the spot when you're in a pinch and need that caffeine/carb rush. Above average Dunkin in the Fairfax / Alexandria area. The new brisket scramble was more filing than expected. A little too cheesy on top. Shaken espresso had some strong premium flavors. I come here sometimes when in the area. 4 stars because it's your normal recipe. Sometimes they put regular milk instead of almond milk and it delays the process. They are usually fast if you order ahead but if they are busy expect it to take a while. They will get your order wrong sometimes but they will make you a new one pretty fast. I like the new remodeling they did because you can see over the counter. There is this man that works the register (white hair long white beard) and I love it when he's working. You've got to be kidding me. $9 and change for 3 donuts, with a cup of coffee. Last few years have been disappointed in Dunkin, which hail from my home city. Seems fresh donuts have become less so. Have they changed something? I don't know for sure. Yet have heard significant folks discussing this. Coffee is still delicious. Definitely an eye opener. Yesterday my daughter went in to purchase an iced matcha. While standing in line someone who was clearly on drugs started to verbally attack her. It came to my attention that the workers, to include the manager, allowed this attack, leaving my daughter to fend for herself. They just watched. My daughter has a heart condition causing her heart to beat too fast. She came back to the car crying and visibly upset. I went back into DD to inquire what happened. The cashier told me oh it wasn't us, it was that woman over there and pointed. The manager told me oh she's just on drugs. The woman was on the floor talking on her phone. I said to the manager, let me understand this, she verbally assaulted my daughter, unprovoked, and you allowed her to stay? The manager said there was nothing she could do. Another customer chimed in and confirmed the manager and the workers watched while this crackhead cursed and screamed at my daughter and did nothing. I told the manager the woman had to leave. At that moment the drugged woman came over and asked for another cup of water to which the manager said sure. I looked at the manager and said she has to leave. I confronted the crackhead and she verbally abused me as well and then she left. Subsequently the owner came out and I explained to her this entire situation caused my daughter medical distress. The owner looked at the manager asking why she didn't call her to the front and why she didn't kick her out. I told the owner that she needs to train her people to kick out people that verbally abuse other customers unprovoked. The fact that no one, workers, managers, customers even, allowed this to happen and did and said nothing says skit about this store and this community. SHAME on everyone! I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and my attorney. read more

I've been going to this location many times. It's a fine experience if you come inside of a store. They also offer curbside pickup that we tried 3 times and they never made it out to us. My wife and I come here at least once a week! This is a great Dunkin' Donuts location! The customer service is excellent, management is friendly and recognizes us when we walk in, it's a great environment there! The food is really good too! We've ordered several things off the menu, doughnuts, munchkins (glazed doughnut holes), bagels, muffins and wake up wraps (ham, egg & cheese wrap) and other breakfast sandwiches. Everything is great, but our favorites are the iced coffee, hot chocolate, double chocolate doughnut and the everything bagel toasted with cream cheese! When ordering the iced coffee, we suggest asking for light cream and and sugar, the regular is to sugary for our taste, but if you like the extra sugar, then the iced coffee is perfect for you already! The pricing of coffee and other drinks are way better than at Starbucks, and you're still getting a great tasting beverage, in fact the hot chocolate is definitely better at Dunkin' Donuts than it is at Starbucks! I come to this Dunkin Donuts routinely to pick up coffee and doughnuts for the office maybe 1-2 a month. I used the Mobile App, and they get the order right and it is usually on time. Sometimes when they get busy, things can be slow but it is generally good and beats the Dunkin Donuts on Telegraph by a long shot. read more

I moved to Alexandria back in July of 2021. I have been to at least 3 other locations in the Alexandria location before coming to this location. In my opinion huge difference, customer service, products, ETC. The service was on point, the staff used gloves to prepare my food, it was done within 10 minutes. I have waited at other location for 4 sandwiches at least 45 minutes. This location is about 15-20 minutes from my house I will make the drive to this location. read more

I live a few blocks away and it's always convenient to have a Dunkin Donuts right around the corner. Service is very fast, I once got my cream cheese bagel ready before I even get to take my card out to pay. Bagels and donuts are fresh, especially early in the morning. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I pair my breakfast bagel with cappuccino which tastes good. If you're there for an early breakfast, the place is usually busy, but the line clears up quickly because the staff provides a very fast service. The only thing I don't like is how they run out of glazed donuts; which happen to be my favourite! My usual, regular order consists of a donut (either glazed or chocolate) and a multigrain bagel with cream cheese. And I occasionally order a cappuccino. More often than not, the espresso machine does not work at this location. I have been frequenting this DD for years and while the staff is very friendly and helpful, I have found myself avoiding this location. I always order with the app and when I get to the location I find out the machines are down. Last month they were down for over a week. It seems like instead of getting new and working machines the management chooses to try and continuously repair the broken ones. Very inefficient read more

I came in here tonight with donuts on my mind, and my stomach took over, so I decided to go for some real food. I saw that the have a limited number of breakfast sandwich and something even more cool- burrito bowls. After reading about it on the menu, I couldn't get a clear sense as to what the burrito bowl consisted of. Instead, I decided to go for the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich. The man behind the counter was friendly, and he was able t get this sandwich prepared in just a few minutes. The music in there was especially loud tonight, so I wasn't feeling the mood to stick around and eat there. No, the Dunkin radio wasn't doing it for me honestly. Super irritating experience. I place a on-the-go order via my phone on the app and paid for it. When I got there my drink was not ready and I was then told that the machine was broken. There should be a system set in place to take the location offline if they can't give you what you order. I wasted my entire time going to this location on my way to work when I could have went to a different location and got my drink. I then requested a refund. The employee's beckon to a young lady who I assume to be the manager by the name of Anna. She casually took her time while socializing with a friend while I'm sitting here as a paying customer needing her service which I found real rude and irritated me even more. Today my order was incorrect, 2 wraps for 2 different people were incorrect & stuffed into the same small bag making them soggy. The harried young man tossed a bag at me when I asked where the donut was but when I got home I discovered that he gave me hash browns instead. When I got back to the store, he grabbed my bag & tried to give a lady looking for her hash browns my soggy wraps! When I told her that the lady accused me to grabbing the hash browns. Harried young man just walked away - completely useless. This store has gone downhill since former managers left. It used to be my fav Dunkins outside of MA. Recently they could not fulfill large iced coffee orders since they ran out of cups. I'm a HUGE Dunkin Donuts fan, but something is out of place here. My order came to $12.06. I handed the guy $15.00 and he gave me .94 cents back and then closed the drawer. I alerted him about the extra two bucks and passed it off to an honest mistake. I noticed the vanilla bean coolata I ordered for my son was served literally in 5 seconds! It looked a little watery. I took my to-go order out the door and tasted my coffee.....it was like a cup of lukewarm water. It was so weak I had to pour it out. I opened the bag with my hash browns and it contained...one....two....three....four....five.....hash browns. Really?!? Anywhere else I get between 10 and 12. So let's see.....un drinkable coffee; watered down collotta, short stack of hash browns, and incorrect change. At the very least this place is cutting corners. At worst, they are blatantly ripping people off! I'm still a DD fan, just not this one. read more

When I first started to go to this DD, I thought it was a little pricey for B-fast since everything was a la carte. Depending on the day, I would get five tater tots, others days, six. Total would be $8+ dollars. Recently when I stopped by, they had a nine piece tater tot options and they only charged 99 cents, so with my large coffee, the bill was less than $7 which I think is much more reasonable. The breakfast food is fresh and appealing, but I will take off one star for their bacon. It is always under cooked and soggy. If you want good bacon, I recommend Roy Rogers. The place is clean and they have ample staff working but somehow they are unable to prioritize drinks and multitask on a regular basis.
