I like that that this location is opened until 9:30 evening. They keep the place pretty clean. If you are a regular at this location, the staff recognizes you and offers a smile when you order. I used to love going to Dairy Queen, taking the kids when they were younger. I really like soft serve and this location is close and so it was my go to. I stopped by for the first time in quite a long time and got a small hand dipped cone. It was absolutely horrible. The chocolate dip was so watered down. You could see straight through it. This DQ is close to my house and is almost always my first choice when I feel like treating myself. I haven't ever ordered anything but ice cream there, so I can't comment on the food. The ice cream is delicious and the staff is always friendly...with one exception: the older guy that works there. I think he's the manager, or maybe the franchise owner. It's not that he's UNfriendly, he just doesn't engage with the customers at all. He just kind of stands there and waits for you to tell him what you want. That being said, I don't have an issue with him for that. What I don't like is that if he *makes* my order there's about a 90% chance something will be wrong with it. For example, if you order a Blizzard and he's the person who makes it, he will only blend it for like 3 seconds. The entire bottom half of it is just plain vanilla ice cream. The bummer part of that is, because of COVID, you can't sit there and eat, so once you discover that the bottom half isn't blended you're probably already gone. The other day my friend and I went there. I ordered a Blizzard and the younger guy there made it and it was perfect (yay!). My friend ordered a Peanut Buster Parfait and asked for the 2 bottom layers to have peanut butter instead of chocolate, and chocolate only on top. The owner/manager guy made it and made only the bottom layer PB and the middle and top were chocolate. In the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal and my friend didn't say anything. It's just that this guy does everything half-@ssed. Often he's the only person working so you have to just hope your treat is made properly. To be clear, none of the above is going to prevent me from going there, because I love DQ. read more

I like this place. They have good ice cream here. Staff are friendly and smiling. They do try to keep the place clean. And they don't make you wait too long if you ordered their sandwiches. Although I was a bit disappointed about the small size of their sandwiches, I sometimes wished the prices weren't so astronomical. I really think they should stick to making ice cream. Even their chili dogs are too small for my tastes. I always have to remind myself that I'm not in a mcDs store, and therefore should not expect as much. I've eaten at Dairy Queen 3 times in my life. The last time was about 5 years ago. Normally, I would not have looked twice at DQ (especially in this plaza where tasty exotic foods abound). However, while pregnant, one has to satisfy certain cravings. I've had a light in my head flashing "DQ"..."DQ" for the last 4 days, so luckily after getting some pho, I looked across the parking lot and saw DQ. It took about 10 minutes to decide what I wanted, and the staff was very patient and friendly. I decided on the "Georgia Mud Fudge" blizzard - a delicious concoction of ice cream, fudge, pecans, and brownie pieces. It was very delicious. I decided to write a review after looking around and noticing how clean the restaurant was (it was a rainy Tues night) and how organized the kitchen was. We had a B1G1 free Blizzard coupon so went here after dinner across the parking lot at Matsui Sushi. I was trying to order a Blizzard that wasn't on the menu by asking if they had certain ingredients (which some stores do carry) and the cashier was confused--though it seemed English was likely not his first language. His co-worker saw his confusion and quickly came forward to assist. She said they could do the Blizzard and quickly made it while the other cashier made my husband's off-the-menu Blizzard. Last night I went to this Dairy Queen to purchase a birthday cake. When I got it home and opened it to cut it there was a mosquito stuck to the top of the ice cream cake. Bought my son a kids meal while my daughter took dance class next door. During the class, I saw the bag said treat coupon on back. There was no coupon on the back, so after the class I went back and asked about it. A different employee was there and I asked about it. She told me that the coupons were all removed because they had expired. I asked about the treat and she wouldn't give it to me until the other employee came and verified that I hadn't received one. Why in earth would I make a trip back to try to fool them out of a $1 cone? Instead of treating me like a thief, you would have done much more for your costumer service reputation to just give a cone. These straight faced Crooks overcharged me today for the smallest sized blizzard and tried to act dumb when questioned. Even street beggars are honest and upfront when asking for money when compared to these clowns. They charged my coworker and I for the next size up but gave us the smaller size. At first I thought there was a different price structure for the blizzards but no, they are depending on people who don't know how to calculate taxes in their heads or just in oblivious state of mind. The blizzard itself wasn't great- it got runny in 3 minutes and the flavor was worse than cheap for a fast food joint. I'll never come back to this crap and depressing joint. Yummy treats here!!!! I love the soft serve ice cream especially the chocolate vanilla SWIRL cone. The blizzards are fantastic, service was friendly and fast. My only concern was there were some FLIES buzzing around the soft serve drips from the spout which I was then served my cone from. They need to do something about the flies in here.
