I visited this location's drive-through at 8:46 PM on a Sunday. According to both Google's listing and the Dunkin' corporate website, the location closes at 9:00 PM. When I pulled up to the speaker, an automated message indicated they were closed for the evening -- over 15 minutes before posted closing time. My frustration with the discrepancy led me to say something out loud to the recording (not directed at any person). What happened next was unexpected: a male employee in full Dunkin' uniform came out of the building and approached my car in an aggressive, confrontational manner. When I followed up by phone to address the situation, I was told by the employee who answered that I couldn't speak with anyone except a manager -- and that no manager was available. I was asked to call back the next day. I have a long background in retail. When a customer pulls in as I'm walking out the door, I go back inside and take care of them. That's the standard. Closing 15+ minutes early -- especially for an order as simple as a black iced coffee -- and then responding to a customer's frustration with aggression is not the standard anyone expects from a nationally recognized brand. I'm sharing this because the employees representing Dunkin' in uniform are a direct reflection of the company. The inaccurate hours are a fixable issue. The way a customer was treated when they showed up during listed business hours is a more serious one. read more

Dunkin' Donuts is supposed to have donuts because I just got back from my class and I wanted a doughnut and a drink and I went to go pick something up for her friend and they wanted a bagel sandwich and a drink so I went and I got there and I asked can I please have a doughnut and they said sorry we're out of donut ones. I've got two doughnut three doughnut four so then I'm like like OK. Whatever like you don't have these donuts, can I please for my bagel sandwich we had a bagels and croissants OK so I left with the drinks, but there was no urgency with the staff too get my order they were standing and chatting in front of my face as I'm standing there waiting for my order it's stupid and the order wasn't wrong, but it wasn't exactly what I ordered. I'm not sure I would have posted this on a public site, but there was no answer the 4 times I've called to provide this message to the general manager. Frankly, this place has some of the WORST customer service I've ever seen. I walked inside to order a coffee as the drive through line was crazy and after waiting for 8 minutes an employee came up to tell me that they were closed after another employee asked me to hold on a moment, as they were quite busy. It's clear that they are utterly understaffed, and I can appreciate that, but the rude remarks from what seems like the manager, of whom verbatim said "I'll help you in a few minutes ma'am, but don't be rude to her" after I waited 10 already is WILD. All I did was say "Why did I wait for 10 minutes if you aren't open here?" Someone needs to double the staff and either let this woman go, manager wearing a beanie, she is not set out for customer service or could use a management training. All I wanted was a cup of hot coffee for a long ride home. I drove a few miles to get on the highway, when I took a sip of Luke warm coffee that was loaded with sugar. I asked for a hot medium coffee with double cream. Very disappointed! read more

I was severely disappointed to arrive to this location at 9 AM with a drive-through line completely blocking the whole parking area. After finding a parking spot, I went inside to order a large black coffee and was turned away from ordering inside, even though the doors were unlocked. I don't believe this is standard practice and I thought it should be brought up to higher management. We're not in Covid times anymore. read more

Service is insanely slow...took me over 25 min to get through drive through, and I was only 2 cars behind the speaker when I pulled in. Staff was not acting with any urgency, and when I looked inside the cooking area it was a hot mess. Food and napkins all over the floor, counter was covered in spilled cream and food. I'm on my second chocolate glazed doughnut. That's about 640ish calories. Was it worth it? Hahaaaaaa. ‍ They were good. My 9 year old said his strawberry glazed doughnut was the best he'd ever had. He also really liked the big pink D on the door handle. And the little sprinkles in the shape of D on his doughnut. Sometimes it's the little things. Lol. The coffee and hot chocolate were around the temperature of the suns surface. But we're patient and let it cool down. It's Sunday morning after all. Yum! Who doesn't going to DD? Answer- nobody. For starters, they have a kick butt selection of donuts and their cake donuts are amazing- sour cream for me please. While I hate to say that the coffee out of the bag ( when purchased) is fair at best, the one they sell there is oh so good. Also, they have all these fantastic breakfast sandwich and I recently the chicken and waffles and Although it was not some compelling sandwich, it was perfect for me and hit the spot. The service at the Bainbridge store is Really great and there is never a wait in the line. Sometimes the timing of the food takes a bit longer than preferred,but that is secondary to how great this place is. I know there are thousands of DD in the city, but this one is worth it over some of the others I have tried. read more

Never had a problem with the friendly service or product quality with this place except the time we left our iced mocha lattes in the car for 5 minutes and our Beagle swipped the whipped cream off both our drinks with his big Beagle tongue through that little round hole in the dome lid! Love me some Dunkin' coffee! The people are great at the Bainbridge DD! The only thing I can say bad in general is ... ya can't run out of donuts. You just can't! No excuse is a good excuse. If you don't make them on site you need to figure out a way to restock so dont run out. You can't run out on special days either...get more delivered! Or start making your donuts in the 1/2 empty space of the building. Prob be fresher too. The selection dwindles as the day goes on and so does the freshness. Stopped to get coffee, donuts and a breakfast sandwich with my kids on 2/4. I ordered two chocolate glazed donuts, but received chocolate frosted. No biggie. Terrible service. Unfriendly employees. Consistently messing up orders. For example I go there at least once a day to get a large iced flavored coffee, I can't count how many times I've gotten a hot coffee when I've asked for an iced or vice versa or they don't put the caramel in or whatever. Its the organization and service here that allows for a poor ranking. 10-12 minutes for a cup of coffee. Its already brewed - they just need to put it in a cup. They put 4-5 workers on the line for the drive-through and the cars are still backed up into the street. They have 1 worker at the counter so if you decide to go inside you wait longer than if you would have waited in your car. Either way, the wait is about 10-12 minutes for a cup of coffee. I've tried to give the store the benefit of the doubt and gone back 3x since experiencing this but this seems to be the norm. There are other businesses in the same area with the same products that are better run and organized - Id go to one of those rather than this DD. read more
