I got a flat white with vanilla and a piece of their blueberry coffee cake. I wasn't the biggest fan of the texture of the coffee cake. I have tried coffee all over the Chagrin Falls area. Nothing compares to Tame Rabbit! The home baked treats are extraordinary I was invited to a dinner party and asked the owner if she would make a pan of the raspberry oat bars. The group of 10 devoured them and said number 1 dessert ever!! Then I told them that they are also made gluten free as well as the chocolate banana loaf and lemon poppyseed loaf! The pictures I saw are not up to date since there is a beautiful fireplace across from couches and comfy chairs The space is filled with art and bags of their own roasted coffees! Just finished the delicious Blackberry Bramble. It's a get-out-of-bed perk me up! The syrup is natural and tastes like the real fruit, not an awful imitation. Cute coffee shop located in Chagrin Falls. On a recent trip, we needed the baby to take a nice long car nap, so we hopped in the car and drove the 45 minutes to Chagrin Falls to get him to sleep (haha). It's a cute coffee shop located in a plaza on Washington- they have drinks and also a small breakfast menu consisting of various pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and health bowls. We got a simple pour over and an Inca tea- they informed us, for our tea, that the tea bag can be used twice (why don't all places tell you that!) and that they'll refill your cup a second time. I thought that was a nice gesture! We ordered their avocado toast drizzled with honey, and it was delicious. Their breakfast tacos were also on point too. The coffee was good, I just prefer other roasters in the city more (duck rabbit, six shooter), but it is a nice option on the east side. So, after seeing the waterfall in Chagrin Falls and you need a cup of coffee, definitely drop by Tame Rabbit! read more

Chagrin Falls was sorely lacking in a quality coffee shop. The only option was Starbucks, and that was overrun by children after 3pm. Tame Rabbit is the answer to a quality coffee house. The atmosphere is quiet enough for work yet you can have a conversation with a friend while listening to good music (they've played everything from Springsteen to Keane to Walk the Moon and I am here for it). Whenever I am home on break I have to go to Tame Rabbit and get their lavender latte - it is to die for. The owners are wonderful too - they have studied everything about coffee and helped my mom figure out the best amount of coffee to use when she got a new machine. I recommend going there to do work and/or read a book if you love a cafe setting. If you're more of a home coffee drinker, buy their beans. read more

The coffee actually is good and thats coming from a amateur coffee drinker. Normally coffee taste like coffee to me but this one was noticeably different. I didnt know what to get cause they have so many options so I went with a classic for me which is iced white mocha and I tried it with macadamia milk - love that they offer this milk btw. I was surprised at how different it tasted. So smooth and not at all sweet but still good? I guess they have good beans or something cause it was like a whole experience for my taste buds. And with coffee I can usually feel when I've reached the "high" but not with this coffee. I did notice when the coffee took effect cause I was more alert but I couldnt feel the change in my body if that makes sense - which is a good thing cause the drastic change is what has kept me away from coffee. Overall it was good, and will definitely be my go to when I'm in the area. I may even purchase their beans so I can have good quality coffee at home. read more

My husband and I live right by Tame Rabbit and were excited to hear of a local coffee spot opening up besides a starbucks. We went during their opening week and were so surprised about how quaint the place is. It's inside a little shopping center but you are taken away by the decor. We were able to speak with the owners and their daughter who were so nice and excited about their new adventure. I had the lavender latte and it was perfectly made. My husband had the espresso and had no complaints. I then enjoyed a banana and chocolate chip muffin that was so great because it wasn't dried out one bit like most places. My husband and I stopped in yesterday to grab a quick cup and check out the latest edition to the Chagrin Falls community, and are so happy we did! In addition to brewing some really incredible coffee, the owners are so kind and knowledgeable about roasting. They'll get to know your preferences and make suggestions that might be outside your typical "Tall, Grande, Venti" lifestyle, but are WELL worth it! We can't wait to go back and check out some other items on their menu, as most everything was preservative-free and local! Can't beat that. It's businesses like Tame Rabbit that make Chagrin Falls such a unique and wonderful place to live. Stopped in over the weekend on the recommendation of an acquaintance. I am SO GLAD I did. The staff was friendly, expertly knowledgeable, and gave good recommendations (Blackberry Bramble Latte was SUPER smooth and delish). They were very sweet to my young girls, who waited while perusing some provided kids books on the library shelves. The lemon almond cake was home made and also perfect, nice amount of moisture, not too sweet, not too tart. I am HAPPY to support a local business (as one who is weary of the big coffee chain).
