The workers dealing with a very frustrating customer!

This Dunkin is outstanding!!!! Not only the typical things like the food quality, the service time and quality, the cleanliness of the facility, and the kindness of the workers, but above all their willingness to put up with the worst types of people. I witnessed an incredibly racist and judgmental woman come in and yell at, berate, and racially profile the workers at the store. They dealt with her very kindly and professionally, while dealing with system and electronic errors. An outstanding staff all above!

I come here regularly to pick up doughnuts and coffee for work. I noticed that anytime after the morning, service is slow and the food and doughnut quality is not good. In the morning there are more customers so there are more workers and usually a manager on hand which increases quality and efficiency. In general, Doughnuts are stale and do not have much glaze or frosting. Lot of filled doughnuts like jelly or custard to not have much filling in them. Even in the morning, the doughnuts may be stale. Coffee is always decent. I won't hype it up, but I like it. In summary, go in the morning lol

I'm a really big fan of their iced blueberry Matcha latte, however it's a little out of my way to come and get it. I came today to grab it and a few other snacking items for breakfast and was disgusted to see that not one but two pieces of my bacon had a thick black here cooked into it with the glaze that makes the bacon sweet. Absolutely disgusting but no surprise considering all the girls that I could see through the window had their hair down. Beautiful dark thick black hair just hanging free to land on whatever food items you may have ordered

It automatically gets 5 stars because it's a DD. If you've never tried their coffee, you're missing out. HOWEVER, this location generally has very slow service and the creme filled donuts do not have much filling. Also they tend to be out of most bagels and some donuts by mid-afternoon. P.S. - if you're still reading a review of a DD, you're probably crazy, but also be warned that this neighborhood is known for speed traps. Drive the speed limit! =)

    Burnt bagel with cream cheese

1/5 stars This review isn't about the food or drink. The customer service is nonexistent. Rude at the drive thru speaker, rude at the window with snooty comments. Even though it's out of the way, I'll definitely be going to the Ellisville location because at least they know how to not be assholes. Also add, scratch that, bagel was burnt so 0.5/5, manager was nice and accommodating over the phone when I complained, that's the only reason why it gets a 0.5.

This is the donut we received..

Worst service ever. As we were ordering in the drive thru we were yelled at because the lady couldn't hear us and said "you know what just order when you're ready" (which is exactly what we were doing). The lady was very rude and said something as we drove away. When we got our food and drinks that just made it worse. Our donuts were just thrown in the bag and the iced coffee we got does not taste like an iced coffee at all. Very rude workers here. Horrible.

This is my drink that was not filled all of the way.

The staff here are always so nice and polite, and this is a great spot to get away from all the noise when you want to relax or get a little work done. I ordered a honey lavender iced latte. It was smooth, creamy, and not too sweet. He honey and lavender mesh so well and you can taste all of the flavor. They sell pastries as well. I ordered a ham and Swiss croissant. The croissant was fluffy and flakey, and the warm ham and cheese brought comfort to my belly. They were out of the marmalade that comes with it so i wasn't able to taste that. When you enter, it's very small but very well put together décor wise. Each area had signs that discouraged movement of their furniture and had its own kind of theme. I was meeting up with a friend and her daughter and unfortunately did not realize they had the typical café hours (closed at 2pm) so my visit was very quick (30 minutes) and I had to rush my conversation. I ordered an iced Monstera Mint latte and chocolate coffee cake slice. When the barista called up my order, I repeated my order asking if it's mine (they don't use a name system) and apparently *I* mispronounced MONSTERA because she turned her back and said within earshot to her coworker how I did not pronounce it correctly and why do people say it incorrectly. I am not a big plant person so excuse me for not knowing how every single plant name is pronounced. I know people vent at work, but it made me feel uncomfortable the rest of my visit, so I was glad it was almost time to leave before they closed. Vent after customers leave if you have to.... Anyways, my MONSTER-AH mint latte was good, but the chocolate coffee cake was a bit too dry for me. And service could have been a bit more professional in my opinion.

Thankfully, they had all hands on deck so there was minimal time spent waiting. The woman who took my order was kind and patient as I struggled to select which kind of bread I wanted from their plethora of options. Although I came in undecided between a sandwich and one of their pastries, I opted for the former and a chocolate chip cookie. After waiting all of five minutes, my name was called and I was on my way. While the presentation of the sandwich wasn't the most appealing it def made up for it in taste. The egg was whole but cooked to perfection. Although I asked for cheddar, I was given white cheddar instead, which I was surprised because this was not told to me when I ordered. The sandwich was good, but I'll need to choose a different bread next time since it was quite mushy. The cookie was good and something I'd compare to tollhouse. It was incredibly soft but again, I was thrown off by the semisweet, almost dark chocolate chips. Nevertheless, it was still good and I'd get it again. Overall, this place reminds me of a Des Peres version of La Bonne Bouche. It's got ample seating, tons of pastries, and other cafe items. I'll def return.

It's fun, quirky, and filled with delicious goodies -- a great place to get coffee and tea, with the added bonus of sweet treats! I love the rotation of seasonal drinks, and the baked goods are a small but mighty selection of scones, muffins, cookies, brioche cinnamon rolls (my favorite!), and other yummy baked deliciousness! Staff are friendly and helpful in offering options -- for example, I needed some dairy free milk choices. The barista also offered great recommendations with the seasonal drinks. Pricing is really reasonable... which allows you to indulge in some additional baked goods or one of their fun merchandise items like homemade dog treats, t-shirts, mugs, etc. I also like that they have a small shelf of books, records, and games if you want a little BFF time - with your bestie or for just yourself! I enjoy stopping in for refreshments and a little break from shopping on Lindbergh, or getting something to go to enjoy at home. The vibe is relaxed, and easy-going, and marching to the beat of its own drum. You gotta love places like this! There is plenty of parking, and the lot is easy to get in and out of. Just watch your step at the doorway entry/exit. It's got a slight incline - so watch your step. Seating is limited, but it seems to work, because there is a steady "to go" crowd that doesn't take up the tables. I love this cool spot in South County! Today, I literally had to leave because when I walked in, there was no one behind the counter, I stood there for a few minutes until someone finally came out out of the back section, and then I assume, went behind the counter to tell the worker that I was waiting. When the worker came out, she had a bunch of cookies in her hands that she then had to proceed to fold and put into a bag and then she started making the coffee of two people that were sitting at the counter while I was still just standing there. She did acknowledge me, which I appreciate, but at that point, I have been standing there for at least five minutes and I still hadn't ordered my coffee. I told her that I had to leave because I had to get to work and went to Starbucks instead, which I really didn't want to do. But this has been a pattern with this place- either they're not hiring enough staff, the staff that they have is overwhelmed or something is going on. I've been coming here for almost a year- and I definitely would prefer to patronize a local Shop, but not if it's gonna take five minutes to even just get my order taken when I am literally the only person in line. Also, I wanna add, I literally used to come here three times a week. This is not a new experience, but this one has really taken it over the top. Like I said, I want to support a local coffee shop, and I want to like this place, but particularly in the morning when people are on their way to work, this type of delay is totally unacceptable. I'm not blaming the worker, I'm blaming whoever's doing the scheduling.
