I should tack on a star for the rare feat of getting the order correct. I received my order completely charred. Not a little darker than I prefer, not a tad "well done," but black, crispy, and smelling like a campfire. How the sight of this monstrosity, let alone the smell made someone think this was okay to pass along to a customer I'll never know. The young man who fixed the order was very friendly and quick, and I'm sorry he has to work with the bonehead who rescues food moments before it bursts into flames and serves it to a customer despite the acrid smoke still wafting from it. read more

Easily the worst dunkin I've ever been to. The first time I went, I asked for a breakfast sandwich combo with a small black coffee at the drive through. When we got to the window-they charged me, gave me a sandwich, and then closed the window. Since I never got the coffee I waited until they came back and they said I never said coffee. I can't believe I'm leaving a review for a Dunkin Donuts but here we go. The other terrible reviews of this location are 100% spot-on. I live really close to this Dunkins, and it's convenient to go there, but I'm at the point where I'd rather drive an extra few minutes to go to a different one. Without exaggeration, they have messed up my order every single time. I don't even bother with the drivethrough there anymore, because every time I've ordered coffee at the drivethrough window, I've had to circle back, park, get out, and go inside to report an incorrect order. Mistakes happen, but when it is every time, it's a little ridiculous. Additionally, the worse issue is the attitude of the servers. Every time I go there, I feel like I am ruining their day by ordering coffee and giving them business. They are unfriendly, stressed out, and unprofessional. Horrible D&D. You can expect normal Dunkin Donuts fare; same coffee, same donuts, etc. What makes this particular location unworthy of a visit is the incompetent staff. God forbid you ask for a coffee with skim milk and no sugar- you will get the exact opposite. They fail to deliver a proper cup of coffee at least 30% of the time, and that's no lie. Having a drive through is a plus, but unfortunately, the service is inadequate and slow. Make sure to speak in simple terms and speak clearly, otherwise you'll be dumping your coffee out after the first sip. Also, if you don't mind walking into a place, I'd recommend the DD located in the new Gulf station (20 seconds down the street). Needed some boxed coffee for for a local community group meeting of about 20-25 people. Each box serves 10 apparently so I ordered three "Box O' Joe's" . Each box of coffee came with the standard paper bag filled with the various coffee "accoutrement" (cups, sugar, equal, creamers etc.). The ordering process was simple enough, they filled the order fairly quickly and I was on my way with my three boxes & three bags. Anyone familiar with getting boxed coffee from DD's know that paper bags they give you with the coffee are usually assembled in advance and each bag is usually sealed with a sticker of some kind (usually with the DD logo). Once at the meeting, we realized that we were not provided with enough cups. When went to get more the manager (who remembered selling the three boxes) indicated that refused to provide additional cups without charging an additional 25 cents/each. Even after explaining that we were only provided with about 15 cups (we should have received 30 - again...we had less than 25 people in attendance) the manager (rudely) refused to accept that they filled the order incorrectly and reiterated the additional charge of 25 cents per. read more

Went through the drive thru and asked if they had pumpkin muffins...first a no then a yes so I ordered one along with a frozen hot chocolate and explained I had a coupon. Got to the window and they said they were wrong and they don't have pumpkin muffins. Took coupon said they couldn't scan it and wouldn't honor it. Literally just threw it back at me. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. THE WORST experience in our 5 day visit to Boston. Definitely not the best way to start our morning. We ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches [NOT a bagel] and 3 drinks, (possibly hash browns too) when the employee called our order out [at this point we didn't know it was our order] she mentioned a bagel sandwich, we didn't respond to the call since we DIDN'T order a bagel. She then looked at us, threw the bad on the counter and said I WAS TOLD IT'S FOR A LADY ANS HER HUSBAND. Well, the place wasn't busy at all, there was only a Gentleman, and a young lady (they were not together) I approached the counter, open the bag, checked the order, made sure it was what we had ordered, asked for new bad, since I'd ripped the bag. And walked. WELCOME TO BOSTON. Two out of the two Dunkin Donuts restaurants that we visited were bad. I still can't believe how horrible our experience was. read more

I would have given this location two stars because on occasion I do receive service with a smile BUT I always have to repeat my order several times whether drive thru or at the counter. It's becomes frustrating because I don't order anything complicated or special and yet every single time I have gotten my order wrong. I have to spend more time politely asking for what I ordered. On my last visit the server was so rude to my mother and I and made our orders wrong. He proceeded to tell us to just take them as is. My mom's order was the wrong size and flavor while my latte had been heated so long the milk soured. Hit or miss with this one. Sometimes they are quick, nice staff, and never screw up an order. Other times, long waits, rude staff, and they totally screw up the order. They can also be even more rude when you point out they screwed up your order. I swear a lot of them hate their job and they take it out on customers. The Bedford Dunkins on North Road is SO MUCH BETTER, but they lack a drive thru. That is largely only why this one gets 2 stars (Should be one star), but it has a drive-thru. read more

I work in the trades. We like our morning coffee run. Over the last 20 years I've been to at least 2 dozen DD's. Belmont, Acton, Concord, Wellesley, Arlington, Winchester, Bolton, Stow, Hudson, Sudbury, Lexington, Billerica...you get the idea. In all these places the service has ranged from pretty good to excellent. Not here though. They seem to have 3 speeds: 1) slow, 2) very, very, slow and 3) STOP. My boss who lives right down the street from this place often gets a coffee and he says the same thing. A couple days ago there were two people in front of me with a simple order. It took me FIVE (!) minutes to get my order in. By that time a line of a dozen people behind me had formed. I've been in this place over a dozen times. It wasn't always this bad. I've been in DD throughout the area several hundred times over the past 20 years. These people are BY FAR the worst. If you can deal with the Great Rd traffic jam, you'd be better off going to the gas station at the Rt 4, 225 interchange where the service is much better. Avoid this place if you can. read more

I just went to Dunkin' Donuts at 5:30 AM on a Sunday and the entire ceiling was covered in flies. It was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in any restaurant. I'm not saying there were one or two flies I'm saying there was a infestation of flies - at least 2 or 3 dozen everywhere. The staff did not seem to mind. I am mediately reported them to the board of health. I'm not sure what's going on here, when we moved here three years ago this place was great. I have tried to give this DD the benefit of the doubt several times, but I can no longer do that. Like others, my order comes out right ~80% of the time. But the customer service is really terrible. The staff is constantly changing, which means there is always new people at the register who are 'training'. I probably recognize ~2-3 people there, at most. Even the manager has changed several times over the year. The lines grow out of control and the response is for staff in the background to be horsing-around, laughing, and chatting it up.
