My fiancé asked if they could remake it and was told "it's the machine that's how they come" and then went back after and asked for the drinks to be remade to be full for $15 worth of coffee. A number of weeks ago (come to think of it, it feels more like months at this point..), my used-to-be favorite Starbucks in Massachusetts inexplicably ran out of white mocha and hasn't really recovered since. How does a major coffee franchise run out of such a commonly popular flavor whilst other locations still have it? Don't know! ¯\_( ° °)_/¯ Despite the aforementioned dilemma, I redirected my thirst for espresso infused nirvana to the second closest location from my occupational hazard. Enter: Starbucks in Lexington. This location is significantly larger inside, not to mention it has a REAL parking lot. Seriously, if you've ever been to the one on Great Road, then you already know that parking lot is a complete joke. In light of this, Lexington Starbucks is way easier to access, IMO. Though...if you're coming here wicked early in the morning like I do, you'll find yourself driving into a dark ass parking lot. That's the one thing I'd change about this place if I could; better parking lot lighting. That *might* have something to do with the fact that they're located next to a Walgreens sharing the same parking lot and perhaps those lamps actually belong to them (?). Who knows? Still, it's a caveat worth mentioning. I noticed the pick up area is way easier to get to as well. The fact that I'm able to walk directly from the entrance to the pick up area demonstrates that this particular Starbucks values their customers' time. Congratulations, Lexington! Worst experience today! Vanny claimed the manager, was worried about my parking situation rather than making my online order correctly after messing it first time and being a rude bully! Last time when my online order was messed up ( frequent occurrence but they do remake but have to wait longer- online orders are made to avoid the wait) I told Vanny I parked at the disable parking so he would make it faster than having to wait again ) . I didn't know Starbucks was paying the employees to bully the customers on how they park as supposed to making the correct order!!!! Someone need to teach some customer service specially if your a manager. read more

This is probably the best starbucks ive ever been to. I usually dont write reviews for places often but this just needed one. First off, they are amazing at making drinks and their consistency. Second, the employees are so welcoming and kind. I specifically have to shout out one of the employees, i believe his name is Ken. I could be having the worst day of my life and my day would get instantly brighter when i hear how Ken greets me and has conversations about my day. Another employee i feel like i need to shout out is Ryhanz. He is just so kind and he knows all of his regulars. He could see me walking to the door through the window and already start working on my order. Btw someone drew a cat on my cup and it made me SO happy i absolutely love cats and I thought it was SO cute and funny for someone to put that on the cup!! Avoid during rush hours and lunch time. Unlike other Starbucks, this location does not adjust the number of staff to support the volume of customers. This turns into both wait times to order and for your order. Slow!!!!!!!! I expect Starbucks to be slow but sometimes it's just ridiculous. This was one of those cases where we felt like we had ordered something exotic and that they had never heard of before when it was just a basic order from the menu. It really is kind of aggravating when you follow all the rules and the directions and they don't. The service is excellent, the coffee addictive as usual, and because there is nothing else in Lexington I guess I should go to Starbucks like everyone else. However, because Lexington was the final battle ground between Coffee Connection and Starbucks, it doesn't seem right The Starbucks battle in Lexington is unrelenting. Everytime a coffee house has opened in Lexington Center of any sort with good hours. That is it is open before 7:00am and past 9:00pm, I get excited and spend a lot of time at the new place which is usually full. Then the Lexington Starbucks manager changes their hours to 1/2 hour before opening time to 1/2 hour after opening time at the new place. Everyone, I don't know why unless Starbucks coffee is as addictive as Boston Globe said it was, Everyone starts going to Starbucks during the extended hours and the new coffee house is empty. I have been going to this Starbucks every friday for over a year. I always get a veggie sandwhich and some girlie coffee drink (the kind with lots of cream and sugar). Although it would be cool if someone recognized me after going for OVER A YEAR, that isn't actually my real complaint. My real complaint here is that no one is particularly friendly, sometimes its super busy and they are rushed, I totally get it. Sometimes though, I am one of maybe 2 or 3 people and they still act like its painful to give me the time of day. No courtesies here, its just "what do you want? Okay. Anything else?" maybe someone forgot to tell them about please and thank you? Its also worth mentioning that I ALWAYS get the "Veggie & Monterey Jack Artisan Breakfast Sandwich" maybe I'm the only one that ever gets that but every time I order it, be it by the full name or just "veggie sandwich" they ALWAYS look at me like I have three heads. Then I walk over to the pastry display point to its meat-y counterpart, explain that I want that but with vegetables instead of meat, they pause, then proceed to get it and throw it in the oven. Then I have the EXACT SAME conversation with the cashier. EVERY SINGLE TIME. It goes sometime like this "Yes? What can I get you?" "Good morning! I would like to veggie artisan breakfast sandwhich please" "Huh?'" "Oh sorry, the breakfast sandwich? WIth veggies?" "What do you want?" "This - (points to ham sandwhich) - but with veggies" "OH! The veggie breakfast sandwhich" "Yes please!" "okay." "Helllloooo (groan) - what did you order?" "Good Morning! I had a medium ____(coffee beverage)___ and a veggie breakfast sandwhich" "A what?" At this point I either walk back over to the case and do the pointing thing, OR the woman who put the sandwhich in the oven comes over and goes "the veggie sandwhich"" "Oh, The veggie breakfast sandwhich" "Yes please! Thank you!" This is all a little annoying considering its been going on for a YEAR but the last straw was last week when the same scenario played out and then it ended with this: "Oh! The veggie sandwhich. Our oven is broken." to which I replied "Oh thats okay, do you have a toaster? Can you toast anything?" to which I got "NO! The OVEN is BROKEN!" ..yeah lady, I got that, apparently your listening skills have to be checked, I asked for a TOASTER. Of course, my mother taught ME to be a little more polite so I continued "Oh, so sorry about the confusion, I was asking about a toaster but no matter. Could I just have a plain bagel?" to which I got "HUN, the OVEN, its BROKEN!" apparently she thought I had the intelligence of a 2 year old, I explained to her I accepted this fact and was willing to take an untoasted bagel, I got a look of confusion and a head shake, I explained I could toast it at work if I wanted and then I got a "whatever" and a bagel thrusted at me. Now obviously none of this is really that bad and if I was on a road trip and needed to run in some place for a quick bite, I'm sure this place would be perfect, I'm just saying that I was looking for a neighborhood coffee shop with a little more of a "friendly vibe" to it. Needless to say, I'm not on a hunt for a more friendly Starbucks. I don't need this drama every friday morning when I got to Starbucks to "treat myself" for a week of work well done. Update: I went to the Bedford Starbucks this morning, just a couple miles up the road and it was FANTASTIC! Super friendly prompt service and they actually knew what the veggie sandwich was! They = The staff of this Starbucks. They get an incredible amount of people in the morning. They work like super efficient machines and the line shrinks faster than it grows. They are detailed oriented, never missed any portion of my order or any customization I requested for it, and it is one of the few Starbucks where I don't have to wait for over 2 minutes for my coffee during the rush hour in the morning. This is the Starbucks I go to multiple times a week on my lunch break. Between noon and two this place is usually jamming and on most days it is hard to find a seat. People definitely come here to camp out for the day not just to sit for a few with their coffee and go. The service can be touch and go. Some crews are much friendlier than others but, this is still my go to Starbucks. If you are looking for a delicious afternoon snack I would definitely recommend the marshmallow dream bar! read more

Great service and consistent with the coffee you get at any Starbucks. They are open pretty early which is nice; I was able to stop in at 6:30 and get my morning cup last week. I'm not sure if they still do it or not but the sausage egg and cheddar breakfast sandwich is awesome. Went in the other day looking for a place to study, but I was dismayed to find a dank atmosphere - not what I expect from a Starbucks at all. Worse yet, there were a few flies buzzing around the store. Not pleasant, but hey, it's summer and these things happen. Then I went over to the pastry display case to pick out a snack... and there were two flies trapped in the case! Buzzing around the desserts! Instant loss of appetite, there. If you've got flies in your shop, you should really be more careful to keep the food closed up. I ended up going to the Lexington Library to study instead. No snacks there, sadly, but at least they were well lit, well air conditioned, and had a complete lack of flies. read more

Lets be real I LOVE Starbucks and I think we all know what it is. If for some reason you don't, you gotta try it! It is the best thing I have discovered in my life. My friend got a job at a Starbucks and I heard you get three free drinks and one free food item on your shift. This was a few years back and I don't know what it is now. Can't give 5 stars to the souless corporate behemoth with it's ubiquitous green awning, but this one comes close. The Starbucks of Lexington are divided into 2 parts, and although the other one is in the center of Lexington, this one is not only bigger, but much more comfortable. There are 4 nice big chairs in front of the fireplace which are perfect on a rainy/snowy day. If you don't snipe one when it comes open, there are others who definetly will. I'm a gut rot black coffee or striaght espresso manly man, but I'm told they sling the double-pump, mocha-latte, half-caf, long pull, with a twist stuff pretty well too. What I want ot know is when I go in around lunch, who are these people who are camped out in the middle of a frakin work day? I mean heck, they're not in college, and they're not working, how can they pay $3 a drink? Ah well, if you like Starbucks this is a good one, and not bad coming/going to Burlington or points north. I come here all the time and often work here cuz of the nice comfy couches and the fireplace. It's a huge Starbucks (it used to be a Friendlys) and the people here are super nice. My mom actually comes here all the time as a meet up with her girlfriends. You see lots of regulars and after awhile you learn to know the baristas and the people who work there. read more

This is about the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. I see a lot of people here seem to think otherwise, but of all the Starbucks I've been to this is by far the most trying experience I have encountered. Several of the staff are middle-aged or older people. They're very nice and helpful but I see one of them screwing up every single time I go in there. They never seem to know how to ring me up, forget what I ordered, mark the cup wrong, etc. and they've all been there way too long to be getting it wrong. The younger staff mostly seem frustrated to be there, and they seem to leave frequently. They know how to do their jobs, though. This is the only Starbucks I've visited regularly (I live nearby) where I don't chat with the staff. The other Starbucks in Lexington has much friendlier and more competent staff, and I go there whenever I'm able. This place does have good seating, it's comfy, etc. and I see that a lot of people enjoy this. Since I rarely stay to drink coffee, however, all I see is the service, or lack thereof. read more
