I was visiting this area because I was in town for a three day convention and some of the friends told me about this place. I checked out yelp, found the location and picked myself up some items for my train ride back home. I got an iced spiced chai latte,and an iced cookie butter for tomorrow morning's work day. My oldest daughter got an iced vanilla latte and my other two daughters ordered a chocolate and a cinnamon muffin. I later learned that they were giving 15% off for visitors visiting the convention center and because I missed that opportunity, I was instead offer an assortment of complementary danishes. I have to say my iced spiced chai latte was delicious! So go that I ordered another one in the larger size to take home. I wished all chais would taste like this. They have set the standard. It was so smooth with the amazing yummy spices you could taste, just really good. My daughters, all three had no complaints. They loved the muffins, although they said it should have been warm up, but still was very soft, moist and fresh. I wished that on my second order, the girl who rang up our order would have honored that 15% perfect off because we still made another order after finding out but she didn't and she wasn't very pleasant like the guy, so I just let it go, it was a spiritual weekend for me and I didn't want to let her irritated me. I even included a tip because the male staff member was great. The space is very cafe friendly, plenty of seating, nice ambiance with relaxing music playing. If I lived in this area this place would definitely be my choice of places to frequently visit. So although four stars I'm still giving two thumbs up! Happy Yelping!

Tables, chairs, counter, couches with books on the right. A really laid back place to grab breakfast, lunch or a coffee & cookie just to hang out. The sign / name says "bakery" but they have sandwiches & soups on the menu too. I ordered the Monty Cristo sandwich. It was made fresh to order, but was ready quick. Good bread, thick sliced ham and turkey on the sandwich as well, it was very tasty. The preferred payment method is cash or electronic method. Leisha (I believe she was the owner) was pleasant & gave me a free delicious chocolate chip cookie after hearing I work nearby and it was my first time there. I'll be back soon!

To be quite honest, there were a few locations in Fairfield County that were a lifeline of mine back in the 2010's, and this was one of them. Of course, it's been years since I've made the walk over here, but given that the Waterbury branch is down to bus service for the foreseeable future and I happened to have time this morning, I decided to pay an old stop of mine a much overdue visit. The first thing I noticed today was that they redecorated the place since the last time I came. The counter where you get your drinks is longer now, and the shelves were redone. It's never been a particularly dirty Starbuck's, but based on this visit, it seems to me like they get with the times they're in and so it felt so clean today that it was borderline accosting. I've also never had problems with the customer service here. Granted, it's Bridgeport, so it does feel a bit grumpier than a Starbuck's at a more rural locale, but the people were still nice enough here. Today, I decided to try something new order the S'Mores Cold Brew. This is actually my first time having a Starbuck's Cold Brew. Typically, I'm either getting a Refresher drink or a Blended Frap. Sometimes though, it's nice to switch things up. I would love to come here during the holiday season for my Peppermint Mocha tradition that I've always loved doing. Since the Waterbury branch is on bus service and so I'm back to switching trains in Bridgeport full-time instead of only doing that in the evenings and doing Stratford in the mornings, I'll probably check in here occasionally during this stretch of time.
