After placing my order and receiving it, I politely asked, "Could I possibly have some ketchup?" One employee silently pointed behind me, and I quickly realized the ketchup was in plain sight. I laughed it off, saying, "Oh duh, thank you so much!" What truly upset me was what happened next. I overheard an employee (or perhaps a manager) with bright red dyed hair say, in a loud and condescending tone, "Look around, use your eyes." It was unnecessary and incredibly rude. I felt ashamed and embarrassed, all because I made a harmless mistake by not noticing the ketchup station right away. It's the start of a new year, and while I understand that everyone can have a bad day, there's no excuse for taking it out on customers. I was just trying to get breakfast and left feeling humiliated because of someone's negativity. I hope management addresses this issue, as kindness and basic respect go a long way. No one deserves to feel shamed over something so small.
