this dunkin is usually just fine. the baristas are kind, its just management. my food came out alright, my drink was made fine thats not the point of this review. i walked in and one barista was clocking out, another was on the phone with a customer. the shift manager very clearly was just talking to other baristas while chilling on her phone IN MY FACE MIND YOU. the barista that was just on the phone with a customer ended up coming up to me very apologetically, and we had a great conversation and even upsold perfectly. i then went to wait for my food, and the shift manager was the one making it. i made eye contact with that girl several times and she didn't even think to smile or say hello. mind you, the job you signed up and get paid for is a CUSTOMER SERVICE job!! so she mean mugs me for about three minutes while im waiting until she gives me my food and yells, "22" and doesn't even look at me. i smile at her and said thank you so much. yall, she didnt even look at me, mugged even worse, and yelled "23!" and dropped the other food item. why have this job if all you're gonna do is mean mug your customers, not support your team, and sit on your phone all day. my barista that took my order deserved a higher pay than she gets. all i got to say is that kind barista that took my order, come on over to starbucks and collect your tips, you deserve more. read more

I stopped in to order a frozen coffee and had a disappointing experience. The lady at the counter was eating fruit while taking orders and seemed visibly annoyed when I approached. I asked about the app so I could get my points, but she was unhelpful and didn't seem to know anything about it. She didn't respond to my questions and acted inconvenienced the entire time. On 1/3/2026 at 4:48 PM, I stopped at the Dunkin located at 14631 Lee Hwy., Centreville, VA. I ordered two coffees for my wife and I, and attempted to order a frozen hot cocoa for my child. The hostess running the register lacked the ability to understand what I was asking for, and could not communicate effectively with me. I asked if anyone else was available to assist, but she informed me that the other worker was in the back laying down because they were sick. Not only is this unacceptable that an employee was left to run a register that could not communicate with me, but it is DISGUSTING that a sick employee was on the premises sleeping in the back given the devastating flu that is going around. There have been very few times in recent memory that I've been left shocked in this day and age, but this takes 1st place. While there is nothing that will change my experience at this location, I definitely want to share this experience and warn others of the disgusting practices taking place at this location. I ordered via their app today. I got there and only the drinks were ready. Finally, I asked about the dozen donuts that I picked out and the young woman told me that they were out of all of the dounts that I had selected and could I pick from the very few donuts they had left instead. I ask her why they were not making more since it was only midday. She said they don't make donuts there and that they order them. They were all out. I took what they had left and couldn't believe that a donut store was out of donuts at midday when they are supposed to be open until 9pm. Save yourself some time and go elsewhere for donuts. Maybe one of the other locations does a better job of ordering their donuts and updating what they have in the app. Also, every time I have been to this one, they are short staffed as well. My employee , being the Angel that she is , was sweet enough to order us all breakfast and her croissant sandwich showed up looking like my Five year old nephew made it . 2 pieces of untoated rye bread with unmelted cheese and bacon from the 1990's. Not sure how long this Dunkin' Donuts has been around - I had no idea there was one in Centreville until just a few weeks ago! So I checked it out today - I was craving a fast food, cholesterol-laden breakfast sandwich - and it occurred to me that DD would offer them all day. When I got there around noon - there was no line, two folks hanging out at tables. I ordered the omelet breakfast sandwich with sausage and a medium coffee. I still have a hard time getting used to them putting the sweetener and cream in my coffee - I like having that control for some reason. I thought I was getting the sandwich on a bagel, but when I got out to the car and pulled it out, it was on a croissant. No problem I thought, I'll try it this way. Been here before but first time to eat in today. This Dunkin' is conveniently located near Virginia Tire & Auto. I had to get oil change and state inspection done today and there is some wait so I came here to enjoy coffee and a donut instead of staying in that dull waiting room of VA Tire & Auto. The coffee is nice and fresh although it's too weak for me but it's Dunkin' so it's fine. I chose glazed blueberry donut and it tasted very fresh. There are 1 high table with 2 chairs, 2 tables for 4 and 1 table for 2 inside the shop. 2 of the 4 tables are close enough to outlet to charge your phone. Looks like this is a favorite rest place for Fairfax County Police officers as I often see them here. OMG i ate a whole donut! read more

Ordered through UberEats and was very satisfied with the packaging. Got a croissant with sausage egg and cheese and hash browns - all very good. Box of donut holes were good - my fave was the blueberry. And the ice coffee was pretty good. I know what it's like to work at a Dunkin' off a busy road and man, this place sucks. One girl is just starting off into space while holding a milk jug and a customer had to get her attention twice before she snapped out of it, while two other employees were arguing over something and not getting anything done. Young man at the cashier didn't repeat orders and literally got at least one order wrong, so they had to remake the order, thus making the wait time even longer. Place is a mess, there was a pool of coffee just sitting on the floor while the employees argue on who gets to clean it. The donuts are sliding out of the paper and onto the floor. What really pissed me off is not only I waited 10 minutes (not even exaggerating) for one sandwich, the lady who made them threw it on the counter and the sandwich slid down to the floor. This place really needs some work on customer service. From the management on down! I hate to dump on someone, but these people are really just asking for it. Saturday morning, went in to order a breakfast sandwich and a cup of coffee. Not even a line, unusual for a Saturday morning. I thought to myself, "Great!" Stopped by for late lunch. Great place to sit and work (or write yelp reviews!) while sipping an iced latte. The lady (hoop earrings, glasses) behind the counter greets people warmly and the iced latte she made was perfect, while the ham& egg without cheese I ordered came with cheese, and had very little texture; muffin was not toasted (or not enough) and no seasoning that I could taste. So not impressed with the male "cook". Will come back given Business in building but likely only for coffee. read more

I have repetitively given this location the benefit of the doubt because of the convenience factor of the location. I have very basic orders... bagel with cream cheese and a coffee with caramel swirl. I get the same coffee at every Dunkin' I go to and this has to be the only one that changes every time I go there. The coffee tastes nothing like it should and tastes watered down most the time. Every bagel I have had is hardly toasted and has enough cream cheese on it for maybe half the bagel, and usually all in one glob. After reading many other similar reviews, it is hard to believe management hasn't stepped up at all to make some changes. Very unfortunate. read more

Honestly, you're better off going to a different Dunkin'. I have given this restaurant multiple times to do right and they don't. From not giving the correct order, food being cold and hard, food not tasting good, and to their machines not working to make coffee/latte beverages. I asked the guy at the register for a frozen coffee and he said "they" as in him and the only other staff member there couldn't make that and the machine wasn't good till tomorrow. I then ask for an iced latte and he chuckled and said they couldn't make that as well until this afternoon. How are you a coffee shop and can't make these? It just feels like a sad Dunkin to work in. I was at a networking event in Chantilly between 4 & 4:30, and I was picking up this chick in the west part of Centreville to go to a concert. So, I had some time in between and got myself an iced coffee and used the WiFi. They were friendly, and the iced coffee was great. The second or third time I went was again on a Friday in June 2016. For work I had traveled to Prince William County, but I was searching for a used bike. I had gone to the 24 hour location in Manassas, and then, I looked at a bike in Centreville, which was not good. So, I still needed WiFi to research bikes and do any late afternoon Friday work; so, I took my unfinished iced coffee (from the Manassas store) and used their WiFi. read more

Went in this morning about 11 am. The place was pretty crowded, which, while frustrating, is a part of life. Unfortunately, the line moved extremely slowly and there seemed to be no real system to the madness. Just confusion behind the counter. This is the closest Dunkin Donuts to me, and I come here occasionally for a treat. That being said, it wasn't much of a treat today. Out of croissants for sandwiches. Out of whipped cream. Out of most donuts and those there looked bad. Saw a fly. Yuk. The service was pretty bad too. Two people working there - one who could not speak much English, and the other who was pretty clueless and had an attitude to boot. Ordered a ham and cheese sandwich, my mistake. It was one of the worst I've had in my life. It was obviously over-microwaved, making the roll hard and stale. It was close to being inedible, but I didn't discover that until I got it home. Last time I try a sandwich item from them since it made me sick. The only good thing was the coffee. I wish they would not continue to go downhill. As someone else said, it seems like an unloved franchise - somebody thought it was just a good money-maker and doesn't really care to make things right. I do want to say that I have tried to order mixed Donuts a couple times before on the app,, only have to get there and stand in line still because they didn't have some Donuts I requested. I came here the other morning to cash in on a free latte I received after signing up for the Dunkin donuts rewards program. After waiting in the line I finally get up and order my sugar cookie latte I'm informed their latte maker is broken. I decide an ice one would suffice. They refuse to make eye contact, have greasy hair in their face, they mumble, do not greet the customers and act as if they are annoyed anyone has walked in the door. There are crumbs and garbage on the floor. We ordered 2 frosted doughnuts and 1 powdered, they were thrown together in the bag (upside down) so the frosting went everywhere on the bag and other doughnuts. What a mess. Just terrible customer service in every sense of the word. Lack of selection was also extremely disappointing. Management should be concerned how they are representing the DD brand. We left feeling disappointed, overcharged, dirty and offended. Not the lasting impression one wants to leave a store with.
