This is a fun place to grab a coffee and a special pastry. It's a little disappointing the first time you go and realize it's not a Parisian bakery, but actually a Korean bakery. I am very sorry I have to give such a low review.... But this was a very bad way to have breakfast or whatever this establishment is? Is it a coffee shop? Is it a bakery? I felt like I was at an exclusive all you can eat bargain cruise shop buffet eating re-heated airport cuisine. The coffee comes from a machine employees press? And all through the staff was friendly, that in no way excuses the prices!!! I mean $8.00 for a breakfast sammich.... A croissant alone is like $5. I would prefer a Starbucks or a Dunkin' Donuts. Again I apologize for the harshness, if you love this place I mean no disrespect. I would just recommend to anyone that if they want a good cup of coffee, there are way better options. BLUF: I'd maybe lean a little more toward a 3.5 star rating for the great service we received. The pastries themselves looked wonderful. Taste was decent. Nothing that made me say, "Mmmmmmm, this is really good!" Coffee drinks are expensive for smalls & also just kinda ordinary. It's a great place to meet up with friends & family, but it's also a small venue that can get really squishy during peak times (e.g., early morning, after dinner). Worth the drive? This is tough. It's a good place to meet up & the food & beverages aren't horrible, so to connect with people, yes, worth it. For the food? Not exactly. Seriously, everything looked absolutely wonderful. Makes one want to buy everything in sight. Textures are great. Light, fluffy bread on red bean bun. The filling nothing special. Same with the blueberry pastry... nothing super yummy & not much filling. Couldn't taste the blueberry. Kinda disappointing. So, while I'd not go out of my way for their baked goods & coffee, I'd definitely nosh on something while hanging out with friends as long as we could find seats. A friend and I stopped by this patisserie to grab a little nosh before going thrifting, and we actually spent more time there than we anticipated because you just cannot rush eating decadent pastries and drinking a refreshing peach iced tea! The shop was actually quite packed and busy when we went inside, but there were a few tables outside that were available. They have several different kinds of pastries and flavors: donuts, mochi donuts, croissants, danishes, cream cheese pastries, milk buns, croquettes, cakes, cookies, creme brioches and so many more! They also have an array of coffees and teas, hot or cold brews, available. I opted for the mango and cream brioche and a fruit pastry with blackberry, orange, strawberry and cream. For my drink, I chose to have a peach iced tea! It was absolutely delicious! The staff are polite, even with a busy shop! The only thing is they sort of mumble a little bit, and with a packed patisserie, the volume was a bit higher than normal, it was a little bit difficult to hear the baristas. Decent spot to grab pastries or dessert. They run out of options as the day goes on, so the earlier the better. My family and I ate here after dinner and I'd say their selection had been whittled down to 1/3 of what it was. You pick out your own selections and place them on a tray; however, sharing is a bit awkward because they don't seem to have plates out. I tried a cream puff and the chocolate strawberry cake. The cream puff was great, exactly as you'd expect. Light, airy, and filled with plenty of cream. The chocolate strawberry cake caught my eye because those are always my two go-to dessert flavors, so of course I had to get the cake combining the two! However, I was a little disappointed. It was just a somewhat dry chocolate cake with slices of strawberry in between, and for some reason the strawberries tasted slightly off so I ended up just picking them out. I also got a dark chocolate Himalayan sea salt chocolate bar to go - and my god was it amazing!! The chocolate definitely has a high cocoa percent so you can tell it's dark, and then the sea salt kicks in after you chew for a bit and it is the perfect balance between sweet and savory. An absolute must-have for me! If I were to return, I'd probably go in the morning so I could see more of their selection. read more

The interior is nice and has tons of seating, but the layout for the line/pastries can get congested and you'll have a wait a min to grab what you want due to limited space. Service is always friendly, and drinks come out fast! They can also heat up any pastries you request. I used to dislike the pastries from here, but they've either gotten better over time or I have just found the ones that I really enjoy and stick to those. Korean bakeries really get the whole aesthetics thing- perfectly powdered mountains of pillowy pastries. Who can resist? My favorites so far include cream cheese cloud bread (so perfectly named) and cream donut. It's not too sweet compared to American pastries. Sandwiches seem overpriced, but I haven't had them yet. Would be nice if tongs didn't have cut out in them, I damaged a couple of my pastries while trying to pick up with tongs, and would be nice if tray's were large enough to hold more than a couple pastries. One ended up falling off my tray. When I informed staff I thought someone would help with clean up but I went back to pick up myself. Staff member was kind to give me a paper towel to clean my hands. And a fantastic selection of beautiful cakes for any celebration. They also serve coffee and teas if you need a pick-me-up to go with your pastry. I am sooo addicted to their mini garlic croissants. By the time evening comes around, they are usually sold out of it so I recommended going in the morning if you want to snag a container of it. I also like their croissants filled with cream and fresh strawberry slices. I have tried a few of their different cake flavors and all of them have been good. First off, it's overpriced... this drink was over $6 (which is a price I don't mind for a drink that tastes good) and secondly, the flavors didn't mix well together and all I could taste were the strawberry chunks. This probably more of a 4.5 star review. I came here Saturday evening after dinner at Meat Project and was craving something sweet. Even around 7 it was pretty busy! Luckily we were able to snag a table pretty quickly. Although the tables were a bit dirty. Decor and ambiance is similar to other Korean bakeries. I appreciate there isn't music blasting so you can actually have a conversation. We got a cheesecake, americano and a caramel latte. I was disappointed that the buns and bread area was pretty empty, but I am guessing it is due to the fact it was later in the evening. Another disappointment is that they did not have regular coffee after 3pm. However, they offer espresso and other espresso based drinks. Other than that it is still a great place to hangout with your friends and enjoy the baked items. It was nice they had a candle for the cake we got. read more

There's also seating outside, but it was raining and chilly so that wasn't an option for us. As soon as you walk in, there a case of beautiful pastries to choose from. There are labels for everything in case you don't know what something is. One thing I liked is that there were individually-wrapped sanitized tongs for you to grab your parties. In addition, there were sandwiches in the refrigerator case and cakes at the counter, all looked delicious. There was a variety of drinks to choose from, and I chose the matcha berry latte - so fresh and tasty! I got the creme brûlée pastry, hot dog, hash brown and chocolate croissant. I didn't eat everything in one sitting, but everything was so delicious. I also loved the crab croquette. There's definitely something for everyone, so I highly recommend trying! read more

Everything was perfect and amazing. I felt like I was on a dessert tasting journey with so many different flavors popping. - Latte : Dessert is incomplete without coffee and the latte was perfectly balanced. - Cheesecake : Super light and airy. I have never tasted something like this in my life. 100 points for this one. - Castella : It had honey in it and the cake was so soft and spongy. This cake reminded me of a bakery place in India. Excellent iced mocha and pastries! They're open on Christmas and I got my mocha fixed! Glad I did not drive to NY as this place opened a few miles next to my county! My sister who lives in NY introduced me to Paris Baguette and I am so happy they opened a couple in NOVA. Was told they plan to open some in DC as well so even better! Of course there's nothing like the NY locations but hey I'll save me a long drive for any in Metro DC! My fav is iced mocha and almond sconce but there are so many great pastries to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised by this cafe. I've seen it before and I've tried their pastries in the past when someone gave them to me and I wasn't that impressed. However after going in person on a whim my mind has totally changed. The cafe was very spacious and had enough seating when decently busy - which is something that a lot of cafes in the area seem to lack. There are plenty of pastries to choose from and all of the ones we got were very tasty!
