Love this place!…read more I'm a big blueberry fan so for the past few years have been making the drive to Emery's from North Jersey to pick my own. The entry fee is a reasonable $4 per person, and they shuttle you over to the ripe berry bushes via golf cart, at least on the weekdays when I've been there. (I suspect this may be a way to keep people from just wandering to other areas, but the Emery's folks are just so plain nice that you can't refuse to take their offer of a ride.) The driver also makes sweeps through the picking area from time to time to pick you back up once you've finished harvesting and ready for weigh-in. Blueberries are $3/pound. The farm store has a nice assortment of baked goods and jams, plus my favorite post-picking treat: blueberry ice cream pops dipped in Belgian chocolate.

We tried them the same day, and upon cutting into them, we noticed a distinct lack of blueberry filling. There was some in the middle, but about half of each one contained virtually no filling. We could have looked past that because it was so flaky, but upon biting into it, we both looked at each other and wondered how something could be so flaky, yet incredibly chewy. Taking a bite was like trying to pull a piece of rubber out of the layers. Couldn't bite through it. Weird. It smelled amazing, and the flavor was there, but... A couple weeks ago I bought a blueberry linzer tart. Smelled amazing, and tasted amazing, but the "cookie" part was more like cake. It was so soft and spongy that I couldn't even lift it out of the plastic container - it was just falling apart like cake. Maybe it was because of being in plastic - but I can't imagine a few hours in plastic ruining the entire texture. Perhaps it was sitting in the plastic container for more than a day or two in the store. We're disappointed, but will not give up on Emery's. We'll give them at least one more try!

I got three small/medium sized Vinca flower baskets and they are absolutely thriving. The farm takes great care of their flowers as I saw them putting special fertilizer / plant food in them before we bought them. I also bought a little Venus fly trap which is living its best life with me now. The staff are very friendly as well. I'll be back here very soon for more flowers!

The food alone is worth the trip! The giant BBQ turkey leg with mashed potatoes and gravy is a must-try. The ribs are also outstanding. Wash it all down with a refreshing homemade lemonade, and don't leave without grabbing some homemade donuts. One tip: eat first, then spend the rest of the day walking the market to help burn off all those delicious calories! We'll definitely be back.

I was derelict in my Yelping of this institution for far too long. I was here seeking out Amish cottage cheese which I haven't been able to get at the Trenton farmers market for many years. I knew it would be located in the Amish wing but I needed to walk the rest of the building too. I entered that section to find crowds of people everywhere. To view the prepared hot foods would have required standing in a long line just to eventually get close enough to peek at the cases. I found the cottage cheese prepackaged and decided to walk around the rest of the place before returning to make a few purchases. There were so many temptations in the Amish part, pretzels, prepared salad items, donuts, baked goods in general and of course the meats. The rest of Columbus has treasures to be found as well, depending on your outlook. Discount over the counter drugs, health and beauty,craft soda and pickles, clothes of all kinds, shoes, housewares. I could probably go on. Really something for everyone. My stroll took me past a chicken shop that once I caught the smell of its fried goods, I knew I'd be trying on my way back. At the far end where other food stalls are I saw a taqueria that I plan on trying next trip. With a bag full of fried goodness I was no longer concerned about the Amish foods. I grabbed the cottage cheese and walked out with just a bit of regret that I didn't snag a donut or a dozen. I popped into the produce building just to see what was there. Nice looking veggies but most were sold in bulk. Towards the end of this building is a seafood market that I've heard good things about. Now I have more reasons to return. 4.5 stars !

As another Yelper wrote, they may be hard to understand sometimes. If you are a patient, understanding person then that will be no problem for you. The only times i have recieved sub-par service is from the "english speaking employees". However those employees dont seem to last here because they have bad attitudes and work ethic. As a business owner, i know good workers are hard to find when they make minimun wage. The products are always fresh and delicious early in the day. Just like every other Dunkin out there, the stuff gets a little stale by the end of the night. They just squeaked into 4 stars from 3. I cannot give a 5 star rating because they do not have the amenities of other "newer" Dunkins (like outdoor seating or Wi-Fi)
