GREAT people, prices, and food. We found Mandy's at the Fort Edward Farmer's market a few years…read moreback and fell in love. Of course, it was the finger rolls and pies! We're local hardworking people with "glamping" campsites sites on our land in Argyle. We laid low the past CoVid season. Now that we are out again, our fam of four returned to their store on Burgoyne. We have tried everything but the pizza so far, and this place is a family-pleaser. From awesome, GENEROUS SUBS made with fresh ingredients (hubby had a 6" turkey bacon that I wanted to wrestle him for!) to your basic hot dog, you can't go wrong here. Even their beverage selection was impressive. They have a few small tables inside and a few picnic tables outside, and all of the facility was nice and clean. We were served by a grown woman and younger lady, and although the first lady was all-business, she still had a sweet and fun demeanor. She had no problem letting my 11 yr old boy try the meat sauce to see if he liked it first (he did, most people would, it's like ketchup and ground beef). The hot dogs are served on perfectly toasted HOUSE MADE ROLLS. The younger employee ran outside while we were ordering and made sure the picnic area was ready without any prompting from anyone. (Thank you!) When we were done with our lunch, we all took advantage of the wonderful house-made PIES! My kids each got a mini, which is more than enough for anyone, and hubby spoiled us and got a very beautiful chocolate cream pie. EVERYTHING was great. It is so hard to get a satisfying experience anywhere anymore, but THIS PLACE shows it's possible. Mandy's is top-notch, with food made by people who care about the quality of the food and their customers. THANKS FOR CARING, Mandy's! My family of four will be back again and again. Also, I see they have BREAKFAST SAMMIES, and I BET they are terrific. I am also looking forward to trying out their salads. As a fantastic cook myself, it's hard to find anywhere I deem 'worthy." If you want sandwiches, hot dogs, and bread and pies, you can't beat Mandy's. Thank you so much for caring about the people who enjoy and spend their money at your business! We will be back.

Hi, wanted to share this eye opening experience. Went last week to get 2 gift cards and was told…read morethey were out of cards and to come back next Tuesday. I went in tonight, Tuesday, to buy 2 $100 gift cards for Christmas gifts and was told they have been out of gift cards for two weeks and will not have gift cards until January 5th and that I can go online and that I can print a piece of paper with my $100 gift on it...? I explained that this was a Christmas gift and that I would like something other than an 11x13 piece of paper with a dollar amount on it that someone could open as a nice gift. They couldn't help me. (Everyone knows Staples can print such cards in a pinch). I thanked them and said that I would try another local restaurant, the reply was "good luck". Good luck, not apologetic and Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays.....just good luck. How sad that the fabric of society has been reduced to this........ I did go to another restaurant down the street and bought the gift certificates from a very gracious bar tender, who I happily tipped and exchanged Christmas greetings. Looking forward to a nice meal and old school charm elsewhere.

Met friends for dinner on a Friday night-they were nice/smart to make reservations for 4 of us. I…read morewas happy to see how busy the restaurant was-almost every table was full when we arrived. Our server was excellent. The food and drinks were very, very good. The warm focaccia served with oil and balsamic could have been my whole meal....super delicious. Yes, I'm a glutton and ordered a second helping of said bread. Overall, it's a very nice space that definitely gets loud when it's busy. My advice is to not be in a rush and don't go hangry if you're dining during prime times. We did order cocktails/mocktails, appetizers, main dishes AND dessert. Everything took quite a while (except dessert and coffee arrived quickly). We all enjoyed our entrees and thankfully, each other's company. We were there for about 2 and a half hours from start to finish.

Well... to start no one at the hostess station so I ended up wandering into area where there was…read morepeople. After that... staff super friendly. But note... if you have a sign that says...please wait to be seated...make sure someone is there. So... this is the old court house. Grew up in this village so very familiar with the building. They have a couple of bars and seating areas. They left the nostalgia which is awesome. I started with an old fashioned. Not bad... I've have better and I've had worse. This is edging towards the better... another words no fruit cocktail in my glass. Picture posted. It seems the bartender is the hostess and waitress tonight....a saturday... although to their defense in our area it is Travers weekend.. meaning everyone is in saratoga today for the HUGE horse race. I ordered the rib eye... med rare with au graton potatoes. Haven't had au graton in so long.. they offer tons of sides. So as i look around... 3 4 tops and like 4 2 tops .. and just me at the bar. Everyone is happy... enjoying their meal...yes..im that guy... I asked a couple of people for their honest opinion. No one had anything negative...and amazing plus! Okay... let's talk main dish... astrteicly eh... see pic... flavor, taste, tenderness...OMG completely worth it! The rib eye pops with flavor with just salt and pepper... not sure where the butter (per the menu) comes in. Potatoes Au gratan... so sorry I've missed you this long... cheese and flavorful. Asparagus... awesome...small snap in the bite..cheese just adds that hint of saltiness. Not a dessert guy...sorry. but would totally say try this place out. Reservations suggested... maybe if it wasn't Travers weekend that might be an actual thing... hey if they take them...which is rare for most places... do it.

Enjoyed an anniversary dinner with great friends. Service, food, and setting were outstanding…read more Prices were more than reasonable in comparison to similar venues.
