Bbq ribs with macaroni and cheese and baked beans

I cannot express how absolutely amazing our experience here was last week. Everything about this place is top-notch. My husband and I stopped by on a Thursday night and were pleasantly surprised to find the dining room full. No matter; we moved to the next room to wait and explore. There is so much opportunity for expansion! The 2nd room has a pool table (coin operated) and games, as well as a nice outdoor area I hope they develop further for warm weather activities. Our wait was less than 10 minutes. Once seated, our wonderful waiter Dan stopped by. He was kind enough to give us a few minutes to chat with friends who walked in and returned to take our order. Service was amazing! He was present, pleasant, and friendly while giving us space to enjoy the food. If you visit, make sure to ask for him. The dining area is comfortable with tables separated enough so that you don't feel you are having dinner with strangers. There is a nice bar (and they now have a full liquor license too!) to sit at if that is your speed. Finally, the food - the unbelievably delicious, I can't believe how big these portions are food. I started with the French Onion Soup; there were social media pics I couldn't ignore. The broth was hearty and rich, with lots of different flavors coming through. Cheese pull was perfect, too. One of - or maybe the best - French Onion Soup I have had. Maybe the addition of bone broth makes a difference? I am unsure what other restaurants use this ingredient, but it is listed on the menu here. The birria grilled cheese was an instant winner for me. Great flavor, tender meat, and a flavorful dipping consomme. Onion rings were thin and crispy. And, extra bonus, they didn't cost any more! Many places have a set side (usually fries) and have an upcharge for anything different. Here, you can choose from 4 options (even a healthier side salad option) with no price difference. I am not a rib person, but I was curious to try them, mostly for the bbq sauce. Husband pronounced them very good. I personally don't have a lot to compare to, but the meat was fall off the bone tender, and the bbq sauce was absolutely amazing; I literally want to dip everything and anything in it. (Onion rings were great dipped in it.) Both the mac and cheese and baked beans were huge portions for "sides," and we, in fact, took most of them home. We didn't really have room for dessert, but the sticky toffee cake couldn't be passed up. It arrived warm with vanilla ice cream, and I have zero regrets about overeating. The prices are pretty awesome, too. All of this really delicious and homemade food for $65 with tax and before tip. 100% recommend making a stop here soon. I promise you'll thank me. Check out their Facebook page, too; they are very active and post specials regularly.

It's attached to the golf course, sort of. I am not sure it's ADA approved as you need to climb steep steps to get in. Portions were generous and the young server was trying really hard to please. I am sure on a different day the vibe may be more lively. We were there on a Friday and it was dead.

She was super friendly, knew the menu really well, offered us tons of options for our selections and was very attentive the entire time. There was live music, a one man keyboardist who played easy listening tunes. We really enjoyed it :) this is a "don't judge a book by its cover" kind of place- the food was absolutely fantastic. We had 3, $25 strip steak special dinners and all were tender, flavorful and perfectly cooked. A Reuben sandwich had real homemade corned beef on it, kids meals were tasty and exactly as described. Vegetable cookery was fantastic, homemade dressings and plentiful portions. We will definitely be back, and we hope the chef and Tina will still be there! Glad to have found this diamond in the rough- go try it, good food for a great price! -The Belden Family

Upon walking in the host and servers were super nice and we were seated promptly. The space itself is super nice! Not crowded at all but definitely means you should make a reservation as they are super popular! Food was amazing! DO NOT MISS THE ROLLS! I'd come back just for the rolls, they were so soft, fluffy, and light with the perfect flaky salt on top to balance with the whipped honey butter. Delicious! Everything else was also great, the hanger steak is also tender and loved the hash that came with it and the crab spaghetti had ample crab meat in it. Presentation was gorgeous. Love the seasonal menus and you really can't go wrong with anything here. We skipped out on dessert but I'm sure there's great options too. Highly recommend and hope to be back!
