    Turkey Dijon

Have never gotten a bad sandwich from them and believe me, I've tried many. Best place to stop in for lunch with lots of side and drink options. Sandwiches are usually made super quickly unless very busy but still not long even then. Easy to order ahead if you are going during busy lunch hours to make sure you're in and out. I get most of my sandwiches on a roll (as shown in photos) but sometimes will get the sub roll which is about double the size, on a croissant is great too. They forgot to add bacon to a breakfast sandwich I got once and I went inside to let them know and they made it right.

    Turkey on a tiny roll

Turkey on a tiny roll for $10? Their rolls are half the size of a regular roll. Save your money.

Parts of cars & lots of signage throughout the building. I loved the wood fired pizza oven in one corner of the building. As far as food goes I'll have to rank this place as one of the best I've been to. I had lunch with a friend of mine and we enjoy trying out different restaurants around the Capital District. My friend rated Uncle Mario's as the best we've been to for our lunches. Now to the food.... We ordered a pizza with sausage and a Corvette which is a Rubin. We both agreed that the pizza was great (we're both from NYC area so we know our pizzas)! The Rubin was packed on with really tasty pastrami, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and we asked for mustard instead of thousand islands dressing. Our waitress was very courteous and pleasant, came back multiple times to ask how things were. She kept our glasses full, no problem. We found the pricing extremely reasonable. So overall.... Great Food, Service and Atmosphere!

The decor was definitely unique, classic auto themed, we had several specials: pulled pork Mac n cheese, chicken Alfredo and penne, taco salad, meat lovers pizza...EVERYTHING was hot, fresh and tasty! Quite unique.! The food was par. Fish and fried shrimp were overcooked to coffee brown. The wings are delicious. The shrimp cocktail was good. The French onion soup was superb. The burgers were big and awesome. The problem was the service. One waitress for 80 people is not enough! We were seated and then she finally got to our table for a drinks order. Beers and waters. All good. Food order goes in. We don't see our waitress again. Takes 30 minutes for the food to come meandering out of the kitchen and delivered by kitchen staff. Still no waitress for more beers. Food was as described earlier. Still no beers. I go to the bar to get more. I am told it will be a few minutes. Still no more beers. Some of our gang go home because they Never Got Service! We were there for 90 minutes and got 2 beers. Then came the tab. $160 for six people not including the tip. Paid in cash! Nice place. Local favorite. I would skip it if not for my friends being local and taking us there. They say that management tries to run the place with one waitress usually. Too Bad! Poor or no service is costing you lots of money.

My son said his fried clams were tender, sweet and not greasy at all. The waitress was super friendly and the atmosphere was happy and celebratory. The drinks are average but they do have specials. A good place!

With the Americade motorcycle rally underway in town, it was tough to find seating but the staff made it work for me and the tour group that I was traveling with. It's a nice, rustic-looking restaurant. The manager made the rounds to say Hello to us and he made sure that we were doing okay. In the interest of speed, I ordered a salad bar and the soup of the day which was Goulash. It was very good. The salad bar had everything I could possibly want in a salad and it was replenished regularly. The tuna Mac salad there was awesome. The salad bar is $15 if you don't get an entree or appetizer. Perhaps a little steep but I think it might be all-you-can-eat. As a petite person, I probably don't eat enough. From the window, I had a great view of the outlet stores that Lake George is also famous for. I had to fight to the urge to go shopping. Perhaps another day! We had a slight mix-up with the check for our table but the staff took care of the issue quickly and it wasn't a surprise because the place was really packed. Nevertheless, I thought service was really good. Thanks, The Log Jam. You had a log jam of customers but somehow you made it work. We'll be back.
