SO far I have two visits to this location- the first time- this week when it was pouring rain out, so I did the drive-thru thing- first- that window is sky-high!!! and I drive a truck! and I was still reaching UP to get my stuff.. Order was quick and coffee order was correct!! Stopped off here today and went inside to pick up a dozen donuts for work and my large Pumpkin Spice- and again they got my coffee order correct. But here is what I noticed- there was a young man working drive-thru window and he had 1 other young lady assisting him, which is correct with calling the orders in drive-thru. Those two have to work in tandem and communication has to flow or the customers orders are all kinds of messed up----which leads me tooooooo It's kind of hard to work Drive-thru when the co-workers are joking and goofing off behind him- and not being quite- one young lady made the comment along the lines of- what are we in a playground here? And I had to agree with her- I was trying to pick my dozen donuts and here we are in a work environment not a playground- the young man at the window taking orders in a 6 car deep line and he is trying to hear the orders through is head set, when he speaks the microphone is outside noise canceling- but no microphone could cancel that amount of noise! It is no wonder there are so many negative reviews for this location- This DD is in a prime location and should be cranking out the orders and that drive through should be hustling!!! there is absolutely no reason for this kind of nonsense, the older gentleman processing counter orders should not be having to hold down the base by himself, although he does, it shouldn't be the norm. So I give 3-Stars because my orders were correct and prompt- I was greeted with a smile and it is a clean location- but I can't in good conscious give higher score until the changes are made. read more

This Dunkin is the worst one I've ever been to in literally the entire world, airports included. They forgot my donut. They made my drink completely wrong and gave me the wrong size at the wrong price. I am actually impressed they didn't accidentally get something right. Store is constantly understaffed, some bakery products being sold seem stale, I go here at around 11:00 am most times so there is no reason for this unless they are selling items from day before, I've ordered corn muffins & coffee rolls mostly. Coffee rolls have not been fresh and the muffins are hit or miss. The inside of the store is a mess, it's not kept in a manner that would be appealing to customers. Until recently I used to go a Dunkin in freehold, what a difference, plenty of staff, cleanliness is amazing. Any bakery goods are always fresh. They need to do better here. read more

The text of what I recently sent to dunkin donuts corporation: (9-28-2012), I went into this store to order a lightly toasted bagel with cream cheese. the employees were unable to enter the order on the POS system. The Manager stood by and did nothing. after 2 minutes I asked if I should leave and order somewhere else and the manager told me to be patient, to be quiet and that I would get my food. He was not nice, yelled at me from across the room and walked out before I could speak to him. The employees were very kind but the manager was an idiot! Yelp needs an option for ZERO STARS. The owners/management of this location obviously don't care about the negative reviews. They have made no effort to correct a single issue. I've been to this place three times. Each time has been HORRIBLE. I kept going back because I thought it couldn't be this bad each time. I've learned my lesson and will NOT be going back ever. Every time I've gotten donuts from this place, they are already starting to get hard and dry. This is at midmorning before noon, well within the time donuts should still be soft and fresh. Any donuts left over by the end of the day are rock hard and crumble because they get so dry. Any other place's donuts can easily last a full day and still be soft. The donuts are laughably TINY. Whoever fills the filled donuts is VERY VERY STINGY with the filling machine. Of all my years being a loyal returning customer to many locations I've never experienced such carelessness and uninterested customer service! Please please management do something about it! There was 2 cars in line I was the second and it took 10 mins to get my ice coffee made with ALMOND milk and maple pecan flavor.. I finally get to the window, pay, and get handed my coffee and it was way to light to be made with almond milk and I question it. The girl taking the orders and making them.. then decides to say oh I put cream in there, even though she wrote ALMOND MILK on the cup. I have allergies and could have suffered the day at work, and severe pain if I drank the drink given to me. We as consumers trust your employees with our beverage and they are mindlessly not giving any effort to do their job. NO APOLOGY, NO SENSE OF REMORSE, noTHING. Attitudes at that facility needs to be reported and reprimanded because of the safety of your customers and returning is what makes your business successful! Due to the pandemic I do understand that businesses have had to make a lot of adjustments. I am thankful that this location during my visits follow the covid safety standards such as wearing face masks, gloves and I can see through the dthru window that many of the employees are cleaning (sanitizing). During these times it feels nice to know that this locations dthru remains open (lobby closed). I visit this location both in the morning and later part of the day and speak with employees when they are not busy with long lines and have never heard them complain about the environment being uncomfortable. My product is always made right, they are friendly and get me in and out. I gave them 4 out 5 stars because I believe the company that owns the property should do better job maintaining the outside parking lot and landscaping. read more

If it weren't for Abdul I would have given this place a one star. It wasn't too busy this Saturday AM with two customers ahead of us at the front counter. There were five people working and four seemed to be dedicated to servicing the drive up window; obviously a priority. They finally took our order (the girl was quite slow) which was merely a medium coffee and a box of joe. Maybe I'm old school but is a thank you too much to ask for? The coffee came out in a timely manner but the box of joe did not. We started looking around for someone to ask when Abdul, seeing our body language, asked if he could help. We explained we were waiting for our order. He asked what it was, obviously hearing this for the first time, and immediately began to fill it and less than a minute later he handed it to us. I noticed a guy behind me waiting for his order while we were waiting for ours and I heard the lethargic counter girl say on our way out, "We are out of large cups." So, I have grown up in Jackson, left for a number of years, then returned, and this place has been here almost just as long. You would think that by now, they would have this down to a science, but they do not. EVERY time I think "today might be better" it's just not, and let me say, I feel terrible because there are a few staff members that are TRULY nice and do their best. But, this has to be some sort of bad management issue. First, I have almost never had a fresh cup of coffee here. It always tastes old or burnt. Second, they are almost always OUT of things! On my most recent visit, just yesterday, they were out of APPLE CIDER! How do you run out of something when it's the month of the Pumpkin at Dunkin? It's FALL. They offered me an iced tea instead, and it was absolutely disgusting, and they screwed up the size. Lastly, the wait in the drive-thru seems to always take forever. There have been countless times that I have opted to go elsewhere rather than wait in their line. My advice is just drive up the street to the one in Howell. This place is terrible. The got better for about a year but they've gone right back downhill in the last 6 months. The drive thru wait time is ridiculous. There are a number of servers that are rude, ignorant or just plain indifferent. Half the time they get the order wrong and the other half you've waited so long you don't even want it anymore. Going inside is no better. They will make you wait in there as well, they will frequently have arguments amongst themselves IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. And they move a snail's pace. I was rushed rudely to make my donuts selection (I purchased 3 dozens) although the store was empty and there was no need to treat me like that. The manager is an older gentleman who always comes off as disinterested and rude. There is always a mistake with my order when ordering through him, even though there shouldn't be because he's in charge there! I usually put my orders through the Dunkin app because it ensures that I get exactly what I want (no person at the register mishearing me or forgetting to add things!). The last time I came here, I waited for my mobile order for nearly 10 min before the manager (sounded extremely annoyed) asked me what I was waiting for. There was an iced drink on the counter with a receipt under it. The receipt name said Veronica (NOT MY NAME!) and the cup was turned towards the donuts (away from me!) so I assumed that it was NOT MY DRINK. I explain to the manager that I put in my order nearly 15 min ago, and he says that there's no drink in the system and I bring my phone inside the store to show my receipt. He turns the drink on the counter around and asks, sounding annoyed again, "is your name _____?". My drink had been sitting on the counter, under the wrong receipt, with my name facing towards the back of the store. How was I supposed to know that was mine? Not a single apology or word of kindness from that manager, even though it was not my fault that I did not see my drink. Extremely frustrating. read more
