It feels a bit more style over substance in my opinion. Let's start with the positives first! The place itself is very stylish, and we loved the holiday decor! Honestly, just walking towards the building felt like you were being transported into a mini Christmas village. The menu is vast and looks enticing. The place has a great vibe, with a good amount of seating (indoor & outdoor). Definitely makes for a great meeting and study spot! Now onto food and drinks...the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Frappuccino was not good. It was so overrun with cinnamon, you could see the chunks throughout the drink. I love cinnamon, but that's all you tasted and not in a good way. We barely got through it. The serving was large considering the $8 price tag, but the quality was just not there. The pistachio latte was definitely a bit better, but not great. You could taste that bottled syrup flavor and it just wasn't done right. The pistachio croissant was decent. Definitely fresh, with a nice, soft texture, but the Pistachio frosting was super sweet! I think I probably would have preferred it plain. The place definitely has potential, so if they can up their drink game a bit, I'd be open to possibly giving it another go!

It was definitely busy and a little noisy, so I probably wouldn't choose it as a place to sit and get work done, but it's perfect for grabbing coffee or breakfast, or meeting up with friends. The horchata overnight oats were SO good--easily the highlight for me. They were unique and so delicious. I could eat them every day. I also got a cold brew with coconut cold foam. The cold brew itself was really good--smooth and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. The cold foam was just okay; I thought it was a little weak in both flavor and texture and would've loved it to be fluffier and more flavorful. Still, I enjoyed the drink overall. Service was incredibly quick, especially considering how busy they were. Our coffee and food came out almost immediately. Such a cute beachy coffee spot and the perfect pit stop before heading to the shore. I'd absolutely come back, especially for those horchata overnight oats!

Luckily we are usually able to find street parking within walking distance. Inside is quite spacious with lots of seating. There is a good list of food options usually ranging from sandwiches to wraps, bowls and pastries. They even have ube coconut loaf which was also sweet and satisfying! we tried their sammys and chicken caesar wrap and they are delicious. The coffees are made well too with great seasonal flavors. Their peanut butter mocha is yummy! Another bonus for me is their family-friendly atmosphere with a baby-changing area in their restroom and the fact that there is a playground right across! One of the top reasons we appreciate this establishment aside from visit-worthy service, drinks and bites! aaand close the beach! lots of WINS!!

Used to LOVE this place when I lived in Freehold 3 years ago for five years I was in there almost…read moreevery day I knew the Manager and asst Manager the place ran like a well orchestrated ballet !! The bagels are amazing too -at that time, a young guy with black nail polish and a young girl with dark hair worked the Front and were always cheerful and knowledgeable and they knew how to manage the kitchen so food came out quickly due to a high volume lunch They had to care Anyway, I didn't want to make a scene and just wanted my food -have no idea what has happened there but I went the other day for a late lunch Around 2:15 pm they close at 3 I ordered a special of the day #4 (Chicken salad with bacon and lettuce and tomato ..)Seems simple, right? So there is one person in front of me waiting for his food and looking angry. When they give u your receipt They say the number out loud so u know when they call yours She doesn't give me the receipt I said I was ok without one but asked her the number ? Just then a short dark haired person says she will Print me off a receipt -I tell her I don't need one I just want to know the number to listen for She says ok I thank her she hands me a receipt Which she printed out ... Goes back to the grill. I wait for more time and finally go up to the register to see what the heck could be taking so long ?? I said as I see her talking to the chef and my lunch is sitting there half made open and ready to be finished and handed to me !! Yayee I am so hungry I hadn't eaten since 8:30AM. Anyway long story short. the new Manager tells me "it's taking so long because they are making the Bacon from Scratch (all our food is delivered freshly made please be patient )! " Who does that?? WTH u prep the bacon and half cook it and keep it on the back corner of the grill so u can serve it hot...u then put it on the end to finish the cooking and serve it hot without keeping the customer waiting for twenty minutes !! Anyway she proceeds to tell me she is the manager and asks me what's the issue ? I mentioned I had been waiting a long time and am in a rush to get to my Dr appt and I am HUNGRY. I let her know I have been waiting awhile She says the food is freshly made and offers no apology I respond that when I ordered the wrap at the register the person should tell the customer that The Bacon is made to order and could take 20 minutes I get that they make things fresh but if, as the Manager, said , "we make everything fresh" wouldn't that also mean they make the chicken salad from scratch ? Why was it waiting on the sandwich for the bacon? Shouldn't THAT be made freshly too? What kind of a business makes bacon at the time the order is placed ?? NONE or one that is not run by someone who clearly does not know how to treat customers so they want to Return !! I ended up taking the sandwich without the Bacon since I had spent twenty minutes there and simply wanted something to eat !! I will never go back it's unimaginable. The Manager had no idea how to handle the situation and perhaps by now has been replaced because she clearly doesn't have experience ...?? Now I go to Bagel Run in Jackson and Country Bagels on Rt 9 in Howell where u don't wait 20 minutes for a wrap !! Usually 7 minutes :) Thankful! Will never go back to Terrace Bagels

The scripture was Luke 17:11-19, and the message was simple but powerful... I have to get back to saying THANK YOU! Sometimes we're so busy asking God for the next blessing that we forget to pause and thank Him for the ones He's already given us. Now y'all know after feeding the spirit...it was time to feed the stomach! Off to Brownstone the Original Pancake Factory in Freehold we went, and BABY...they did NOT disappoint! From the moment we walked in, our server J gave us customer service that was a 10/10! If you go, ask for J...tell 'em Stacy sent you! To make the day even sweeter, they helped us celebrate our church's 106th Anniversary! Such a thoughtful surprise that truly made us smile. And can we PLEASE talk about my Aunties?! Apparently, when it's your first visit, you have to ride the carousel...and let me tell you...my Golden Girls understood the assignment! Watching them laugh and enjoy every second was worth the trip all by itself. The food? ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The portions are huge, the atmosphere is welcoming, and every bite was worth it. If you haven't been...GO! And if you have...tell the people the truth... NO LIES DETECTED! Thank You, Lord, for another Sunday filled with worship, family, laughter, great food, and beautiful memories. My cup & heart is FULL.

Fast moving place to say the least. Gets crowded quickly on special event days like Mothers Day…read more We waited for nearly 90 mins. Not my choice to wait. I don't wait for food. Definitely not 90 mins.. My daughter just had to have Brownstone. The worst part of the wait was their system. They do not notify you by text or restaurant pager. They come to the door and yell out a name. If you miss hearing your name or they mispronounced your name, they pass you by. That's crazy considering the amount of names they get and the house doesn't pronounce it correctly The food: All of our order was VERY good. Only complaint. My skirt steak was cooked well, not medium well. But it was not over cooked. Was still tender and delicious. If you can't tell by all the photos. We took a lot of food home. The waitress was really attentive. But it looked like all the staff was attentive. Not over bearing at all. Super busy place. And they only take 1st come, 1st call. But make a waiting list as it gets crowded. The seating was a little tight. And that was throughout the place. Nice menu selections. So we'll be back to try few other items. Clean restrooms which are a plus for me. DEFINITELY would recommend this place.
