This is the amount of hot water put in a small tea...

Rude staff when you go early in the morning. Been going there before work for months and the rudeness is consistent. They seem to get bothered if you order more than a couple items and also make you feel like an inconvenience if you show your military ID for a discount. And the picture included is how they short you if you go on a Monday morning (the worst day of service). This is supposed to be a small tea... and they still put a little more than half in water. Lazy!!!

You know it is going to be a good paczki when it is heavy and they didn't disappoint. They had several traditional flavors but also had two rotating specialty flavors. I've also had king cakes and various cookies and they have all been delicious. The place was packed. There was a line, but they kept it moving efficiently. There is parking available, but make sure you don't park in spots designated for another business in the same strip. I saw someone from one of those businesses monitoring spots and threatening a tow (which is obviously their right to do). They also have a cafe side with tables and some cute decor. I looked at the menu options and saw what some patrons were getting and it looked great. Something I'll definitely have to come back and try. Overall, a great spot for some tasty treats. And, in my opinion, the best paczki in Pittsburgh.

During the day, they had ample street parking and the cute patio is such a wonderful touch to enjoy a coffee on a beautiful day. We came for a light lunch and midday pick-me-up, so we chose the Cookie Butter Cold Brew, Iced Oatmilk Vanilla Latte, Grilled Chicken Bacon Ranch Panini, and a Croissant. The drinks were delicious! The Cookie Butter Cold Brew was a monthly signature drink, but I would get it as often as I can! The crumbles of cookie with the pillowy cold foam was such a refreshing coffee. The latte was perfection too. They definitely make great coffee drinks. The panini was freshly made with sous vide chicken, fresh bacon, and ample ranch dressing to dip in!! The chips were Metro Deli Kettle Chips- which is a new brand for me, but very well resembled a fresh homemade chip. The croissant was so good that we went back up to check out their other baked good options. We grabbed a Breakfast Cookie. It was a peanut butter cookie with oats and chocolate chips. The size was big enough to split and warmed up for a second... the cookie is ooey gooey!! The decor is so unique with a pin map to show where the coffee is sourced to a mini book shop to read while sitting or buy to take home. They are clearly a faith based organization with tons of great kids books based on faith and a selection of Bibles too. They also have a stock of board games ready for any patron to bust out enjoy even more fun!! The staff is so sweet. They deliver your food orders to your table and were great to talk to for recommendations and about the store!

Keep this on your "good for a casual coffee meet up" list for sure!

I am not from, nor did I typically frequent, this side of town, so I have been enjoying trying a lot of new spots! One of those was Aroma Joe's. I visited here early on a Thursday morning on my way into work. This shop is located a little bit off of William Penn Highway, so it is close to a main road without the main road traffic. They have their own parking lot, and it is very easy to go in and out of the lot. When I stopped, it was not too busy yet. I decided to walk up and order at the window, since I had never been before. You can either order at the window or go through the drive-thru. The girl who took my order was very friendly and helpful. She gave me some information about the business, and gave me details on their menu and flavoring options. I was even offered a paper menu to take with me for future visits when I told her it was my first time visiting. Overall, she gave great customer service! Eventually, I decided on on the 24 Ounce Paris Toast signature latte with skim milk. Typically with any coffee drink with flavoring, I request it to be half sweet just solely based on personal preference. The accommodated the request for me with no problem. My drink was ready for me before I was even finished paying, so speed of service is superb. I enjoyed my drink very much! I plan to frequent there more, since I will be in this area of town more for at least the near future. I hope to try some of their seasonal offerings, and potentially some food items in the future. My only suggestion would be for the company to consider different options for their breakfast sandwiches. From what I was told, I believe they are premade, so you cannot switch out the bread the sandwiches come on. I know this goes beyond this location, but I would be more inclined to order something like that if I could choose my preferred meat and bread combination. Overall, I very much enjoyed this first visit to Aroma Joe's. The atmosphere, staff, and product are all great here. The customer service alone would have be coming back for another trip. I would highly recommend a stop here if you are in the Monroeville area looking for a coffee drink!

This shop is located in what used to be a house. The inside is small and consists of two wire racks with snacks and pastries for sale, a bathroom, and a window to order from. It was incredibly busy the day we were there, and some people in line even had to wait outside. Since my twins were being rowdy, I went to wait outside at one of their outdoor picnic tables while my wife ordered our drinks. For our coffee on this morning, I went with a large latte with toasted marshmallow, while my wife chose an iced hazelnut latte. My coffee here ended up being decent, as I was able to taste both the sweetness from the toasted marshmallow syrup as well as the coffee and milk, which was appreciated. Then my wife also enjoyed her hazelnut latte, especially the strong hazelnut flavor. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. Both my wife and I enjoyed our coffees here, and I would like to try either an affogato or their ice cream.

Located in a rustic building on an industrial looking road, the vibe hits you as soon as you drive by! The mix of brick, steel, and light wood is phenomenal... plus the smell of freshly roasted coffee beans greets you with a smile!! The menu is limited in size but limitless in creativity. I love that they already show Oat Milk as an option for everything as it is becoming the most popular... to be honest. The homemade syrups are delicious. I tried the Maple Sage and you could taste both flavors so well. The food menu is also small, but that's because the true focus is the coffee. Still the food is meticulously crafted - I tried the Waffles and the fresh berries were so beautifully strewn across and the batter of the waffles was fluffy and perfectly sweetened. We were able to grab a table to watch the coffee lab roasting and loved the ornate touch of the keystone inlay as well. The service is impeccable. Yes, the coffee may take a few minutes... but the detailed craftsmanship is worth it. You can watch the baristas create each drink and the passion that they have!
