    Caprese sandwich, razzleberry bread

I fear I'll always rate Oakmont Bakery 10/10. I got a caprese sandwich and chose to leave off the lettuce. Also got some dog treats - never saw those before excited to give it to my dog.

Amazing bakery with an enormous selection that is near impossible to chose from. Everything we had there was fantastic though. It was crowded but their customer service system was extremely well organized. The aesthetic of the establishment is very appealing and comfortable. A must visit that receives the highest recommendation from me!

We made a pitstop here while traveling through Pittsburgh. I love Burnt Almond Tortes and heard Oakmont Bakery made a good one. I definitely heard right. This is a huge bakery and it may seem overwhelming at first, but it's actually not bad. This place is packed, and they have a deli number system where you get a number and they'll call you up when it's your turn. It went faster than I thought and our counter person was very friendly. We ordered two Tortes as well as a chocolate cupcake and a maple bacon doughnut. The donut was delicious but the Burnt Almond Torte hit the spot. It had the perfect amount of sweetness and quite filling. I could not eat it all in one sitting. I will definitely be returning.

Oakmont Bakery is a Pittsburgh favorite and for good reason! I recently picked up two small birthday cakes, one for my mother-in-law, and one for my son's first birthday. Both cakes were beautiful and tasted amazing. While we were there to pick them up, we couldn't resist checking out the huge selection of desserts and baked goods. We grabbed a few donuts to enjoy there, and they were fresh, fluffy, and delicious. The staff is always so friendly and very efficient!

THE BAKERY of PITTSBURGH! I swear everyone from out of town somehow already knows about Oakmont Bakery. And it is worth the hype!! From can't miss treats, to new creations, to seasonal items that perfectly celebrate Pittsburgh. I mean... even the social media of the bakery is hilarious and entertaining. The coolest part is that a bakery with this many options and this much fandom! You are still are in and out in a timely manner. They have an abundance of cheerful workers that constantly are shuffling through each customer via "take a number" system... and the display is so massive that you can easily see everything that you are interested in. Great selection. Happy customers. Holiday music playing. What more could you want!!

Happy doughsant season! We got 6 doughsants(1 Pittsburgh cream which was a little much for us) and the rest plain. I think they could just be sold without the icing bc you really eat it for the texture and flakiness. The donuts were delicious as always! The filled donuts were stuffed with filling and were perfect. The blueberry donut could use some more even glazing.

This is a bakery on crack! Way too overwhelming and commercial but not? Packed parking lot! Where to go? How do I see the goodies? Which line do I stand in? This place is too much. The sign about grabbing a ticket or not was very confusing. JUST GRAB A TICKET! Luckily our server was super nice and patient. We were lucky enoughnto find some open chair in front of the fireplace but it's a loud place. The cannoli was a cannoli. My daughter said the frosting was too sweet innthe mini cake. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious and the strawberry cheese ake was good. What I did love: the prices! For the pure and simple fact that they offer a lot for an extremely low cost I wish I had a bakery like this near me but I would want it to be less chaotic in the parking lot and more peaceful but I guess you cant have your cake and eat it too... True score: 3.5

Oakmont Bakery is a large, family-owned bakery that opened in 1988. The selection of baked goods is huge: bagels, breads, cakes, coffee cakes, cookies, cupcakes, donuts, pastries, pies, some gluten-free desserts, etcetera! This business also has a cafe that sells foods such as bagels, croissants, breakfast sandwiches, cheese breads, crepes, frozen custards, pastries, salads, sandwiches, soups, waffles, and beverages. For years, I have visited this business to purchase their baked goods. This review will provide information about some of my most recent experiences. About two years ago, I held a 50th wedding anniversary party for my in-laws, and from Oakmont Bakery, I purchased a half-sheet chocolate cake, a half-sheet vanilla cake, and two dozen apricot kolache cookies. The cut-off time for ordering customized cakes was only 2 days, but about 2 months before the party, I used Oakmont Bakery's website to order the two cakes. The website gave me many options for size, shape, inscription wording, and flavors of batter, filling, and icing. I easily figured out how to place the order and to choose a pickup time. On the day of pickup, my two cakes were ready on time and were handed to me in sturdy boxes. To buy the apricot kolache cookies, I took a number and waited until my number was called for purchasing and paying. At the party, my mom-in-law said that she enjoyed the chocolate cake, so I later ordered Oakmont Bakery's chocolate cake for her birthday. I do not usually like chocolate cakes, but I ate one piece of Oakmont Bakery's chocolate cake and enjoyed every bite of it. I also liked the flavors of the vanilla cake and the apricot kolache. Most recently, in 2025, my husband and I shopped here for baked goods. I rate the fruit tart as 4.5 stars, the the peanut-butter-fudge dulce as 5 stars (wonderfully rich!), the cherry danish as 4.5 stars, the the cheese danish as 4 stars, and the bunkerhill roll (like a cinnamon roll with no icing) as 4.5 stars.

Oakmont Bakery is a must-visit spot in Oakmont and truly lives up to the hype. Beyond their massive selection of baked goods ranging from cookies and donuts to seasonal and holiday treats, they also have a solid cafe menu that makes this a great stop for both dessert and a full meal. My go-to order is the chicken Caesar wrap with grilled chicken, toasted. It comes with a side of chips, but you can substitute French fries or a fruit cup, and it also includes a cookie. It ends up being a super filling and satisfying meal. During the holidays, I tried their special "'Tis The Season" sandwich, which had oven-roasted turkey on cranberry walnut bread with cranberry cream cheese and lettuce. It was festive, flavorful, and a fun seasonal option. I have also tried their chicken salad sandwich and a variety of breakfast sandwiches. I usually order online and wait for the notification that my food is ready for pickup, which makes the whole process much smoother and helps avoid long wait times during busy hours. Between the food quality, variety, and convenience, Oakmont Bakery continues to be a local gem worth returning to again and again.

This place is a sight to see! Huge building with extensive menu and baked goods options. They have a little cafe inside with made to order food (breakfast bagel sandwiches and burritos were 10/10!!). Made to order food did take some time as it was very busy on the Saturday morning we stopped in! The bakery and baked goods options were mesmerizing! Nearly anything you can think of, and seasonal variations as well. I needed to reel myself in a bit so I didn't buy one of everything. It all looked amazing! However, in my opinion many big bakeries that LOOK amazing rarely stand up to the same standard when it comes to taste. I am happy to say Oakmont bakery was not one of those!!! The taste and texture of the goodies we got was exceptional, and fully matched the look of the pastries. Would absolutely recommend a stop both for the spectacle and for the culinary bakery experience. Great job, Oakmont Bakery!

Donut stand available for rent with a 6" topper cake.

We ordered our wedding cake and five dozen donuts from Oakmont Bakery, and everything was fantastic. The cake was beautiful, exactly what we envisioned, and tasted just as good as it looked. The donuts were a huge hit with our guests--fresh, delicious, and gone quickly! Per usual, it was bustling and busy there when we went to order. But the ordering process was smooth and professional, and the staff was helpful when finalizing details. Pickup was easy and everything was packaged well and ready to go. We were able to return the donut stand for a $100 refund as promised so it was a very economical wedding decision. We'd order from Oakmont Bakery again for future events. Highly recommend!

I've been to Oakmont bakery many times for baked goods, but I had never eaten at the cafe. I'm so glad I decided to try it out! You order on a kiosk and then wait for your name to be called. I got the s'mores latte and the avocado toast. The latte was sweet without being overwhelming. The avocado toast was nicely seasoned. Other than the cafe area, my favorite baked item is probably the dolces. They are a great way to try new flavors without the commitment of an entire cake. We got an almond dolce to take home with use. We went on a Saturday morning which is definitely one of the busiest times. It is always busy in the bakery, but they move efficiently and the waiting allows for time to look at the bakery cases and decide what you want. Overall, a bustling bakery with anything you could want, including bread, cakes, cookies, and custom orders.

We went on a very busy Sunday and didn't have to wait long. Finding a table was near impossible so we just did items from the bakery and weren't disappointed. The mini Oakmonter is my favorite but the real reason we went was for Paczki and my husband was thrilled to get the cream filled ones. Everything was delicious, as always. We also went to the bathroom while we were there and it was clean as well so that's a plus to me!

Pro tip: swing by on a weekday around 11-11:30 and the donut case is nearly fully refreshed. Donuts here are almost always fresh and well done, which isn't something you can say about every Dunkin'. Food highlights: the Snackin' Bacon is a favorite, though the serving size vs. price ratio leaves a little to be desired. My wife is hooked on the Caramel Craze Signature Iced Latte, and the Strawberry Banana Daydream Refresher was a pleasant surprise -- really enjoyed that one. Miss it since it's already gone! We also tried the limited-time Barbie + Dunkin' collab, the Ultimate Pink Daydream Refresher with pink pineapple, oat milk, and strawberry cold foam. Think tropical strawberry milk but sweeter, creamier, and silkier. It wasn't quite my thing, but if you love fruity and sweet, you'll probably enjoy it. One knock: the hash browns are extremely greasy, even by fast food standards. Skip those. The ambiance is fast food meets coffee shop and with many tables and seating options inside and out there are plenty of places to sit and eat in and even get some work done. Usually kept pretty clean, can be quite disheveled if short handed and super busy which can last hours. Overall, a reliable Dunkin' that does the basics well. We keep coming back, and that says enough.

I'll visit the location and determine if we're being price gouged by the business or the delivery service. I ordered 2 full sized subs and the food was a disappointment. The bread, I will admit, was soft and fresh. The insides were a bare minimum of what could be considered a sandwich. There were a few very thin sliced pieces of meat. There were decent slices of cheese, but they eliminated any meat flavor. There was a single piece of lettuce laid on top. That was it. I had no other options offered with the on line ordering. I certainly did not expect a sandwich with a tiny amount of meat, cheese and no vegetables other than a single piece of lettuce. No onions, tomato, or any other vegetables. I was also offered no condiments. I had to rip off half of the bread just to make it somewhat edible. I had heard some good things about the food, but I did not find that to be the case. With a Sheetz right up the street, I would think they'd try a little harder.
