I couldn't understand how a coffee and doughnut shop could get such bad reviews, especially Dunkin which I have always liked. Now understand, all I wanted this morning was coffee. I figured any bad reviews must have just come from those that just didn't care for their doughnuts. I know Dunkin coffee is good so I would be safe. The most unfriendly service ever proved me wrong. Never have I gone into a coffee/doughnut shop and not found friendly, happy people. There was no " Good Morning, no " may I help you, no "Thank you, no " Your Welcome (after I said thank you". All I got was an eye roll and some mumbling, and a cranky "you need to pick up your coffee at the other counter. HOW HARD CAN IT BE TO BE PLEASANT?? Then to top it off, they screwed up my order. Remember, I just ordered coffee, two of them! I said one black, and one with cream. Simple enough. I got home to drink them and they both had sugar in them. Wow! I couldn't drink them so they were thrown down the drain, along with the$6.40 I spent on them. I'm certain they don't treat any customer any different than I. I won't be back to that Dunkin ever. I am typically not one to leave a one-star review, but this was absolutely horrendous. For starters, we waited in the drive through line (which only had two cars, mine being one of them) for a solid forty-five minutes. After we finally pulled up to place an order, the worker ignored us for ten minutes. When she finally asked what we wanted, I was told to wait again. I ordered two coffees and asked if they had strawberry frosted donuts, to which she said no. Then, I asked if they had glazed, to which she said no and seemed very annoyed before asking me to "come inside and look at the donuts myself". If I wanted to come inside I wouldn't be in the drive through. The cherry on top was when she only placed an order for one of the two coffees and then kept pushing a glazed donut on me. After I left, I attempted to email the property manager (listed at the bottom of my receipt) but (shocker) the email did not exist. Literally go anywhere else, this place is horribly run. read more

I wish I could say good things about this place. I went in to ask about putting smiley faces on donuts: literally two brown dots for eyes and a U shaped smile. The cashier was rude, acting like this was the craziest demand of a lifetime and told me "there's no way I can do that in 10 minutes". Totally understanding that I should have planned ahead of time, I took a catering card and thought I would call and order them. I tried calling over the span of 3 days. I got the voicemail every time. I thought I had a wrong number so I reverted to Google. Same number, no answer. My next goal was to email. I sent a nice email with pictures and told them my timeframe. To this day, I have never received an email back. We ended up driving back the following week to place an order in person. The woman seemed like it would be an easy task and that I could pick them up the next morning. We went to pick them up the following morning and I swear I thought the donuts were a joke! The icing was smeared on with a knife. the dots were lopsided, some dripping off of the side of the donut. I was so sad! They tasted delicious though! This is quite possibly the slowest, worst managed restaurant I've been in. I thought it was not possible to find slower service than the Burger King back home, but I was corrected this morning. It took about 25 minutes to get two coffees and a dozen donuts. We were third in line inside, five employees, and no eye contact, no greeting, just customer ambivalence. I would rank this place in the category of the DMV or IRS office. Really bad management to let his go on. I hope the owner or corporate office reads this. My husband and I waited in line for 45 minutes with 5 cars in front of us. 2 of the cars in front of us left because the line was taking so long. 8 cars behind us left since we were in line. When we finally got up to the speaker to order, we were told one moment please. 10 minutes later, they finally began taking our order. When we pulled up to the window, the employee was clearly on her cell phone and still had yet to say hello or take our method of payment. Unfortunately, the customer service was horrible. About 5 minutes later she handed us straws and took our card. We don't not receive a proper greeting, apology, and when we were handed our food, we were not told to have a good day or goodbye or anything. The customer service was fine which was why I gave it 2 stars but the coffee tasted so diluted that I felt like I was drinking coffee flavored water rather then coffee. It tasted like this on both occasions and I don't forsee myself going back for a third time when I'm in the area again. read more

This dunkin has such terrible customer service and took so long I didn't even want my coffee anymore. We went up to the speaker to order and almost drove up to the window because they took so long to answer the drive thru. We waited almost 20 minutes for two coffees in a line that was not long at all and then they still did not have our order rung up when we got to the window to pay. not sure who the owner or manager is but they need to get on their workers. with a drive thru line wrapped around the building sitting there for 15 min. get to the speaker, nothing for 5 min. decide to pull up to the window, workers were inside ignoring us. the car behind us even pulled up to the window bc no one was taking their order either... i tried to cal to speak to someone about the huge line of cars wrapped around to let them know. no answer. all the Dunkin's in Destin are absolutely horrid, which is sad bc you could get a ton of business. read more

I am not one to leave a one star review, actually I am not one to leave reviews in general, but this service was genuinely so awful that I felt obligated to warn others. I would give zero stars if I could but sadly that is not an option. We waited at the speaker for over 5 minutes and received no response, not even a "Hi, welcome to Dunkin', we will be right with you". We proceeded to go to the window and when a women opened she responded snarky and rude as if our presence alone was pissing her off. We asked if we could order and she responded with a quick "We only have two people working", which is very understandable and being understaffed is infact difficult, but the attitude and failure to keep us updated as we waited was the issue. Then we asked if it was alright if we just ordered at the window instead of going back to the speaker because there was a line behind us of people doing the same as us and she gave us a sarcastic smile and said "Youre going to have to wait" and slammed the drive through window on our faces. The General Manager Michael has the worst attitude and lacks professionalism. His prices were posted incorrectly and when I asked the accurate pricing he closed the drive thru window in my face. Service is awful. Placed an online order for an iced coffee. Pulled up to the drive thru and waited and waited and waited. No one came to the window despite seeing the employees walking around inside. Finally left the drive thru and went inside. Asked the person manning the pickup counter for my iced coffee and she said she would have to get someone else and then did nothing to get someone else. Finally, I stood is the short line to order and when my turn came I was there to pick up my online order. The response was "We don't got no online order. You must have ordered from another store." I explained I have a receipt and it is for this store. After showing them the order and receipt on my phone, the response was, "Well we can't make no online orders if we don't get them." While that is a true statement, I had to ask if I could get an iced coffee now since I had already paid for it. This staff has no clue what customer service is. read more

I ordered an iced mocha latte and a chocolate donut. Pretty simple, I thought. All they did was screw it completely up. I received iced coffee with mocha in it and a plain glazed donut. Thankfully I tasted the coffee (that I already knew was wrong) before leaving the store, and someone who actually knew what they were doing behind the counter asked if my drink was right. I happily told her "no, I ordered an iced latte but got coffee". She took care of it quickly. However, I didn't notice until after I was in the car that the donut in the bag was completely wrong. Not the best DD you will visit as this particular store is small and has a limited selection. Pretty certain donuts are made elsewhere and brought in. Don't eat breakfast here! We arrived at about 11am and they hardly had any donuts! There was one woman in front of us and it took the cashier about 10 minutes to get her through the line. My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich and a black coffee. We sat down and two people in line after us were given their coffee before my husband got his. I walked up to the counter and asked the woman if my husband could have his coffee. She told me no because they needed more coffee beans (as I'm staring at a full pot of coffee). I pointed to the coffee in the background and she said oh! and poured it for him. Then we waited about five more minutes for his breakfast sandwich before we asked how much longer that would be. The sandwich clearly hadn't even been started and the woman snickered a him and told him it would be five more minutes. Thirty seconds later the sandwich comes out! I went to this location while on vacation with family. After I placed my order a man who was not running the cash register took a box and disappeared from the service counter and then later reappeared with my order. My order was not filled from the display of fresh donuts like other customers. The donuts were stale, even my wife commented on how stale they were. Two out of three times I've been here they've been out of the product I'm coming to purchase both times I was charged and then told I'm sorry but we don't have any of those at this moment, can I get you something else? You need to know these things so you don't charge my card for something you don't have available.
