[These tomatoes] are certified by an independent third party agency to ensure their superior quality. They are perfect for making homemade sauces and are hand picked only when ripe, giving them a distinctively sun ripe and sweet taste." We use the Cento San Marzano tomatoes often and my husband like the Cento Flat Filet Anchovies, especially on his pizza slices. Their canned tomatoes (e.g., Italian Style Peeled Tomatoes, San Marzano Peeled Tomatoes, All Purpose Crushed Tomatoes) are more expensive than Hunts and of course more expensive than "Great Value" brand; however we have to pay for quality products! I've tried Cento olive oil and found it to be a delicious, high quality product, too! I think their branding and packaging is lovely, also! It gives the products a truly refined look and feel! Unfortunately, the boston cream donut tasted like the chemical smell you smell from a nail salon. It felt like I was eating that smell. The sour cream donut, also great looking, had the perfect texture and the right amount of powdered sugar dusted on top. That one tasted like old fryer oil. I'm super disappointed. I wanted to love this place, but I didn't take more than 2 bites of either donut and I don't know that I'll rush back.
