Service was terrible. We almost walked out. Only one worker and when we walked in she only had 1 customer. Apparently someone she knew. She spent way too much time laughing and joking with him to care that she had a line of customers forming. He kept asking for more individually packed toppings 1 at time. She had already packed up his ice cream and she kept walking from the cash register to the topping station. She didn't wear gloves and she kept sniffling (no mask either). I went on a Saturday afternoon. Line was long, not enough workers. My ice cream was made sloppily. It's actually too expensive for what you actually receive. The ice cream tastes good and it's unique in that they mix the toppings in front of you - but I'd go with Dairy Queen or Culver's. read more

Great ice cream! The ordered birthday cake was ready on time. The employees were very polite and efficient.

Seems like they're always understaffed, (well before the global pandemic), because you have to wait when there's no one there in line before you in order to be waited on for a few minutes before anyone comes up to help you. It's never a quick trip for me to stop at Cold Stone even when I'm the only customer in the creamery. Their ice cream is really good though. I usually go with the Birthday Cake Remix Creations, in my opinion you can't go wrong with that one. Remember to treat yourself once in a while! You're worth it! read more

Today my husband and I decided to use my BOGO birthday treat. We walk in the short young lady was nice she greeted us and told us the the other girl was gonna take care of us. I believe the short young lady was taking online order because she was reading from a receipt n making the ice cream. So I ask her hey do you know if this location is taking BOGO. She went over to ask the tall girl she shook her head no. The short young lady came bk over to tell us no , I'm assuming she is new because she didn't know. I asked about the BOGO to determine which size we were gonna get if they took the BOGO we were gonna get a love it. So the Tall lady takes our orders. We get to check out I put my number in on the keypad for points. Guesss what ? My reward for BOGO pops up . My husband tells her she says "yea I know" . We were in shocked n also confused . Ordered a got to have it for delivery with 3 mix ins. It just literally came with the ice cream, not one mix in. So frustrating!

My children like the ice cream at Coldstone, but they "LOVE" the atmosphere. USUALLY when my family comes to Coldstone we have a great experience. My kids always ask the employees to sing the "Coldstone song". The last time we visited, the employee "Kelly" refused to sing the song for my daughters. She said that she didn't want to sing it and refused unless they tipped her. My kids tipped her a dollar and she then proceeded to say its got to be a tip of $2 or more. My young children were disappointed and said they wanted the tip back since she wouldn't sing. She refused. Eventually we asked for a manager. The manager said she doesnt know the song and then walked away. My kids were upset because of a rude and unpleasant experience and we have decided not to visit Coldstone again due to a poor experience with the employee AND the manager. Very disappointing service. Breanna and Alex have a bad attitude. It was considerably busy and Breanna kept staying in the back, not helping much. Alex is very slow when serving and isn't helpful. 45 minutes of my life wasted at Cold Stone. I will be notifying the corporate office about my visit today and previous visit, with the same outcome. It's very sad that our Homewood Cold Stone is ran so poorly. Hopefully corporate can step in and help change that. read more

Needed an ice cream cake for a birthday and Cold Stone got the job done. What a joy it was to share. Ice cream cake can be quite the challenge because it is either dreadfully ice cream heavy (despite the name its actually a cake too :) or vise versa. This cake was exceptionally sized, froze well, lasted over a week, did not melt in 5 minutes (which was nice), and had an original quality to it. Simply put their ice cream is pure, its real, its not watered down or astonishingly "milky" and or misrepresented (ahem unlike the overrated local legend known as DQ.) There are many flavored options you can pick from. I personally would recommend the coffee flavor. What more can you ask from a local business that serves quality ice cream. The service is fine. They will not serve you like a restaurant establishment, that is not the intention nor was it ever. The service is efficient and simple. They serve the ice cream you do the rest which is the fun part. read more
