Epilogue: Since dumpin' Dunkin, I have discovered fantastic donuts (selection, flavor, quality, size and above all, freshness) next door at Geresbeck's and I've been grabbing my share of Krispy Kremes and coffee at Royal Farms, 2 blocks away; both by the way are cheaper. UPDATE: 2 1/2 weeks later... DD corporate reached out about a week or so ago to ask if the local franchisee contacted me. They mentioned high standards for customer service. I responded that I hadn't heard from them. That was DD's last correspondence. So yesterday, I notified them of the continued lack of contact and that I was deleting the app and my account. DD used to be a different company that cared about their product and customers. They wouldn't sell donuts that weren't 100% fresh. They're more concerned with gimmicks and trying to be trendy, instead of offering the value, the service, the selection and freshness that made them a household name. At over 50 years as a customer, it has been made very clear that I, along with those my age who remember what DD used to be, are no longer the targeted consumers and it shows. I had asked customer service to give me one reason to remain a customer. They offered no reason, so they're history as far as I am concerned. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Do not use the app to buy for pickup at the drive-thru. They have no mechanism in place for you to pick up your order without waiting in the same line as those ordering in the line. I ordered 2 donuts, a sandwich and coffee last Sunday. I was a half mile away and was there in under three minutes. There was a line of about 6 cars and I saw no signs about drive-thru pickups, so I got in line and pulled up to the order board. I said I placed an app purchase and the young lady told me to pull around and up to the window. I got out of line and drove up to the car behind the one being served and asked if he would let me in to pick up my order. He said no, that he was next in line. I responded that I ordered through the app and the server had just told me to pull around to the window. He was insistent on being next. So I opened my door, got out and stepped between cars. Once the car in front left, I stepped up to the window and got my order. The owner/manager looked at me like I was going to rob him. But the server kindly handed me my purchased items. I was very annoyed, but polite. I wasn't rude at the window. After the female driver of the black Escalade lunged the car at me as I was going back to my car, I guess to try to startle, maybe make me jump and drop my food, I just smiled and told them to have a nice day. This prompted the man to call me an asshole. I could see his point, even though he was blind to mine. My old response would have been to tell him that would make us neighbors. He'd either get it or he wouldn't. Instead I decided to say a prayer for the couple. This wasn't about them and it wasn't about me. It was about DD not having the mechanism to be able to fulfill app purchases at the drive-thru. This all happened over the course of 1-2 minutes. I was home in less than ten minutes from when I ordered the food. When I went inside, I found my coffee almost at room temp and my 2 donuts stuck to the inside of the bag, losing most of the icing during removal. At that point, I decided to file a complaint with DD through the app. The app said I would hear back from DD within 48 hours. It's 6 days later and nothing. I have even sent an email to customer service. I asked in the email for them to give me one reason to return to any DD.... Radio silence.... Crickets.... I've been a DD customer almost my entire life. I remember a wide selection of larger, fresh donuts. There were no stale donuts served. They were trashed and replaced with newly baked donuts on a time clock 24/7. The prices were fair. The coffee was good (still is, if they can keep it hot). So I won't revisit a DD anywhere, at least until I get a response from them. If they cannot give me one good reason to stay a customer, I won't. read more

First time to a DD in years. Now I know why I don't frequent DDs. Long drive thru line. Went inside. Fairly quick service. very friendly. Ordered a xl midnight, half dozen donuts. Coffee was luke warm at best and tasted like old dish water. The donuts were small and sloppy. Wtf. At this point I'm wondering just how much effort is being put in here. Won't be back.....no point. Needlessly long wait times. Food is on par with other Dunkin' stores but they will leave you to idle at the window for mundane items ie a cup of water. Location makes no attempt to prevent Karen's and Kyles from parking in the narrow parking lot which blocks access to drive thru and adjacent roads. read more

I have now come through multiple times and had to deal with the lack luster attitude of the young girl who works at the drive-through window. Every time she takes my order she makes me feel like I'm bothering her to do so. She's not the only culprit of bad service, the manager of the store is just as bad. There's no greeting you at the window. There is no thank you after you make your purchase. I don't understand why people are in the customer service game and they hate to provide good customer service. I could understand a bad day, but the people who work the drive thru are constantly bad. I don't visit this location anymore. The nice, clean, and new location on Fort Smallwood Road is FAR over-shadowed by what is easily the rudest staff I have ever encountered at a food service establishment. Not just 1 or 2 employees . . . rudeness is endemic (primarily among the male employees) from management downward. Never a "thank you." Staff will talk to others while you are ordering forcing you to repeat yourself. The only time I have received a receipt has been when I have ripped it from the machine myself because employees will ignore you the moment your credit card goes into the machine to work on another order. If paying with cash, staff will walk off trying to force you to let them pocket any change you are due. This is probably why they make a habit of not giving anyone their receipt! A smile and "thank you" go a long way in retail, but this franchisee was obviously absent on this day of training. read more

Ordered two of new cold brews with the sweet cold foam and both were watered down and had absolutely no flavor. The lids for the drinks were also bent and the lips were very sharp and should have been thrown away. This location is very inconsistent and I have contacted corporate about it. I often go to this location since it is much closer to home and super convenient, however at this point, Ill drive the extra 2 miles. Literally every time the donut order comes out wrong or missing items. This most recent trip, I was missing 2 donuts. I doubled back in the drive thru, reiterated what items were missing and was STILL given the wrong donuts. This location has really fell off the deep end recently. After being a solid location for the past 4 years, I've experienced some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced anywhere over the past couple of months. All of these problems stem from the lack of friendliness and motivation of almost every employee that works here. While the location itself is nice/convenient and Dunkin', in general, has a great product, the customer service needs a complete overhaul for this location to earn my business back. Also, looking over what other yelpers have stated - I've experienced the EXACT same problems: - There is a cashier at the drive thru that seems completely bothered every time you order. - I have seen that they close their doors earlier than what they advertise. - I, too, have experiences where they make you wait at the drive thru without speaking to you. One time, I had them not saying after 4 minutes of waiting at the speaker, so I just drove up to the window to ask if the speaker was broken and they responded by saying "Oh, the person in front of you had a large order". This is a pretty consistent Dunkin Donuts. We probably get coffee from here at least 3-4 times a week (we're caffeine addicts, I know)! I've rarely had any problems with my orders. Their staff has also improved over the last few months. They've started to recognize that having a more cheerful voice at the drive through does wonders! This location can get pretty packed, but the line moves quickly. We've gone in once or twice and it's always been a nice, clean atmosphere. If you're on your way to pick up a few groceries from Lauer's, this is definitely the Dunkin to hit! read more

I told her the hours read that they are open till 9 but she stated they close at 8:30. I told her again her hours read 9 and she proceeded to say that they're closed since they're already cleaning. I've been going to this Dunkin Donuts every single day for about the last 2 years. Most of the time they are consistent on their coffees & they make them very good, just like they're supposed to taste. They treat me like I am a friend & they're always so nice & welcoming. & If I'm not satisfied with drinks/food, they have absolutely no problem doing whatever they can to fix it & make it a priority to assure that I am satisfied & happy when I leave there. (At this particular location..) Some of the other Dunkin Donuts around my way just aren't consistent with their drinks & almost every time I go to a different one I am just unsatisfied in some way or another almost everytime. So I'm giving this Dunkin Donuts on Ft. Smallwood Rd in Riviera Beach a 100% !!! They deserve every bit of it!! & Should all get raises for the amazing customer service. Dunkin donuts doesn't pay them enough for all that they do. So they deserve some credit at least. I'm usually here 2 or 3 days a week. If there is no line they see me pull up and have my coffee ready for me by the time I walk in. When I'm next in line when they are busy they always get my order when they are getting the order of the person in front of me so it's ready to go when I get to the register. So I went and got a Big and Toasted sandwich with hash browns. When I got back to my place of business to eat, I bit into the sandwich and out came a piece of the wax paper that is used to separate with the egg patty or sausage patty. I returned to the store to show them, but when I returned I got even angrier. The two employees that were working were in the middle of a conversation, both of them looked directly at me and instead of asking me if I needed help they went right back to their conversation. You should definitely know what you want, because if they are busy you will start ordering as soon as they can make eye contact with you. Friendly staff, and they know how to mix your sugar into your coffee!! There's nothing worse than taking a sip of your iced latte, and getting a mouthful of sugar. If an employee messes up an item, it should be thrown out and started again fresh. I ordered a ham, egg, and cheese on an English muffin. The sandwich I got had strawberry cream cheese on it that they tried to scrape off. Since it was a drive thru order, I didn't notice until I got home. Mistakes happen, but this wasn't a mistake. I loved this DD when it was in the the older building. The food is good. However, since they have moved they are extremely busy. I used to go a couple times a week. Now very rarely. Most times the drive thru is all around the building and you can't get in the parking lot. The parking lot is designed funny so it's hard to park with the long line. It looks like I will be cutting my DD habit as now the last two times in the drive thru I have gotten the wrong food. My fault for not checking it, but how do u confuse two sandwiches with 10 bags of hash browns.... My rating would be 5 stars for the food, but take two off for the hassle. read more

This is the most inconsistent Dunkin I have ever been too. They are horrible. The coffee is never correct. They overcharge me and need correction consistently. How hard is it to key in coffee with cream sugar and French vanilla and then read that off a screen? I think that they never clean their coffee holders as it tastes horrible.
