I stopped by Dunkin' and had a really good experience. This is honestly one of the nicer Dunkin's I've been to. The space was very clean, cozy, and well styled which made it a comfortable place to stop for a break. I tried the avocado toast and it was delicious with good attention to detail. I also had the Dunkin Zero Blush Pop drink which was amazing and really refreshing. The staff were friendly and service was quick. Overall a great stop for a drink and a light bite. read more

We stopped in for coffee on the 2 hour ride back home. April took our order right away and service was fast. However, I'd have to agree with Erica M. the other yelp reviewer about the coffee. I typically go to the Dunkin in Normal IL daily which is awesome in both consistency in how drinks are made and customer service. The location in Pontiac (I go here monthly) is far below other Dunkin locations however they seem to be improving with their customer service. The owner who used to be very rude and never say thank you has begun to act much friendlier, now saying thank you and such. Unfortunately the drinks still always taste different despite ordering the same drink each time. Hopefully they will improve in this aspect as well. I do appreciate the friendlier service however! read more

This is a horrible Dunkin do not stop here it's so poorly run. Every drink tater different every time. Generally they taste like water and coffee. Just got the signature it taste like hot brewed coffee and sugar. Go to any other Dunkin in America but do not waste your time stopping at this one. The gentleman was almost impossible to understand, and he was not getting my order right which made the people in line behind me frustrated. Pontiac dunkin needs to improve their staff! This is the worst dunkin around. They are extremely rude I have been collecting reward points for about 2-3 months now and finally got up to the 500 points for a free hot or iced coffee . I put my order in on the app for a large ICED coffee, I get to the window and the girl was VERY rude and snotty and handed me a HOT coffee and I told her that I had ordered a iced coffee she said " well if you can't see the sticker right there it clearly says that you ordered a hot coffee" I ordered an iced coffee like really! That's 500 points wasted then says well I can put a few ice cubes in it. I live in town and go here often, things are not good. They're supposed to open at 5am but rarely do, most of the time the lobby is not open and you have to sit in the drive thru for 10-20 minutes, and if they make a mistake on your order what do you do, wait in line again?? You can't go inside. Jesse (owner) is not a nice person, to employees or customers. I understand being understaffed but this doesn't explain keeping the lobby closed, it's a random thing, not based on whether they have enough workers or not. Sometimes they just don't feel like opening the lobby I guess. All day you'll see pissed off people walking up to the door and finding it locked with a line of cars around the building. Do NOT bother using the Dunkin app to try to redeem deals/rewards through a counter order at this location. I had a deal on the Dunkin app, but they couldn't figure out how to make it work for a counter order. Then, at a different visit, I ordered -through- the app and applied a buy-one-get-one deal, and they didn't provide it. When I questioned it, they told me I was wrong. Don't bother -- they don't understand how their own app works, and they can't provide any assistance. No thanks! It's a shame they are the only choice so close to the highway. If all you want to do is order a quick coffee/drink through the app, you'll probably be fine, but if you want any thing more than that, good luck. As far as the locals go, they've already established quite the reputation. And, if you are traveling through Pontiac, just know that there are other places in town that are much better. read more

If I could give this particular dunkin' donuts "0" stars, I would. I am very disappointed with this location. I just visited this locations and it is Christmas day. The service is absolutely the worst. My family and I were the only ones in the store and both of the workers were attending to the drive-thru. I waited for a long time and was completely ignored. As a paying customer, I felt they could have taken my order at least or even greeted me. I had to leave. This is a location that I will NOT be returning to in the future. I would get the same drink order each time and it would never taste the same. I would try and gulp it down but sometimes they were just undrinkable. My stickers on the cups would always say the same thing but they were not consistent in following their recipe and processes. I don't have another location on my route so I've started going to the gas station and getting the bottles. They are more expensive but at least I can drink them. This place is awful read more

We go there for the Happy Hour drinks and they are decent - about what you'll find at any other Dunkin' Donuts. The difference with this particular location is the customer service is absolutely horrible. There is a man that works the drive thru most of the time and he is an absolute pr**k! He mumbles on the intercom then gets mad when you ask him to repeat himself. He'll grab your money/card and when he doesn't give you a receipt and you ask for one, he acts as if it's an inconvenience. He's a real tool. I'd like to preface this by saying I am a loyal Dunkin customer who goes multiple times a week to get iced coffee. I've had negative experiences with the same cashier, Sachi I., in the past, but this one was extraordinary. Since it was Monday, I ordered a large iced coffee (and a medium, which is free with the deal). Since I didn't want to drink 2 in the same day, I asked if I could have the large without ice so I could save it for another day. Apparently this was an issue (it never has been at other locations I've been to) and I was told there would be space left at the top where the ice would be. I was irritated, but that was only heightened when I actually got to the window and saw that little over half the cup was full of coffee, and that it was warm. He had also mixed up which coffee I wanted ice in (there was ice in the large, not the medium), so I politely asked if he could put ice in the medium and he blatantly told me "that's not what you wanted", when I am absolutely positive I know what I asked for. I didn't mind that he had made this mistake, but the way he handled it was utterly immature. Even if I were the one in the wrong, the customer should always be right - and it isn't a difficult thing to correct (especially since half the drink was already missing for ice to be added later, lol). There was also an issue when I went to scan my loyalty ID card. Although the brightness was already up, I was repeatedly told to keep turning it up and that "it isn't scanning", or "your barcode isn't working". So that error was on me, I guess. I chose not to fight that battle and wound up paying full price for both coffees. I have multiple gift cards on my app and that purchase drained one of them. While I tried to pull up the other, Sachi repeatedly yelled "you still owe 76 cents" while hanging half out the window with his scanner. ZERO patience or kindness. Not only were there multiple hiccups like these throughout our visit, but both men who helped us were incredibly demeaning and rude throughout the entire experience. And when I say "both" I mean: we were initially "helped" by one gentlemen while ordering. He was confused by our order, so Sachi spoke over him through the mic and was incredibly disrespectful. We were told not once, but twice, that 2 different add-ins weren't available - soy milk being one of them. After we changed our order to have oat milk added instead, we were told that we were confusing. So to help the situation, I literally spelled out our order and made it clear what we wanted - 2 coffees and a donut. Yet when I got to the window I was asked AGAIN what we wanted. To top this off, once we finally had what we ordered, one of the lids popped of the large iced coffee because it wasn't secured properly and spilled all over the car. By the time all of this had concurred, I didn't even want my coffee anymore and did not end up drinking it I'm EXTREMELY disappointed with this experience and will not be revisiting this Dunkin' location. As a customer ANYWHERE, I have not EVER been treated with such blatant disrespect or hatred. I usually love going to Dunkin, but for me, this experience ended in tears of frustration and was overall traumatic. I would never recommend this location to a friend or loved one because I would never want to subject them to such ignorance! Hopefully Sachi is able to fix his attitude, learn from this review, and be able to treat future customers with respect and kindness. It must have taken a lot of effort to be as mean as he was! I went to dunkin today and I got mini stuffed bagel bites when I got home to eat them they were very burnt I could not even bite into them they were pretty much black and on the inside there is supposed to be cream cheese there was no cream cheese and I couldn't eat them. read more

We have been here a few times and the same guy is always working, I'm not sure of his name, but he is super rude! A few days ago we went through the drive through and paid in cash. We had already received our order and were just waiting on change. My husband was putting the change back in his wallet and the guy comes back to the window and said "you need to leave now! You're taking too long and my service is going down!" We went through again today and he didn't even talk to us. My husband thanked him for our coffee and he shut the window in his face.
