don't stop here unless you're willing to wait for an hour or more for your order to be taken.

I was able to use my Starbucks App and get my points. And she was wearing her mask and wearing it properly, on her nose and mouth.

However, I truly think Starbucks has lost its character. What else could explain my visiting two different Starbucks locations more than 100 miles apart in the same day and getting SHITTY attitudes from two different baristas at said Starbucks? At this particular location, I was a little surprised to see the coffee of the day being served out of thermos pumps. I don't recall having seen that before, and it may be standard operating procedure, but as a consumer, it turned me off. It made me wonder why I was paying Starbucks premium for coffee that was being kept warm and pumped out of a thermos carafe. One thing I was going to compliment this location on was how nice their baked goods display looked. However, I was taking a picture on my phone and was halted by the barista saying I couldn't take pictures of their things. Again, I don't know if this is standard operating procedure, and this is the only barista out of a hundred Starbucks I've visited to enforce it, or if this was just another way for this particular barista to share her "sunny" disposition (that's sarcasm) with me. I think anyone can go on Starbucks website and see the food items they offer. It's advertised and public knowledge, so I'm unsure how preventing photos applies here. Anyway, was glad to see that Rochester finally got a Starbucks; but after this visit, I'm not so sure that's a good thing.

The parking lot is big and easy to navigate, which makes pulling in hassle-free even when it's busy. Inside, the store feels roomy with a solid selection of snacks, drinks, and the usual travel-stop essentials. The hot food area looked fine, but it definitely could use a bit more attention during busier times. Restrooms were available, but they weren't the cleanest when I visited. They were usable, just not great. The checkout line moved quickly, and the staff handled things efficiently without slowing anyone down. The fuel pumps were clean, well-lit, and spaced out enough to avoid that cramped, chaotic feel you sometimes get at travel centers. Prices were standard for a Pilot, nothing surprising. Overall, it's a decent place to stop, refuel, and stretch your legs. Not the cleanest option out there, but it gets the job done if you're passing through. The bathrooms were clean and I can always appreciate a gas station with a Dunkin Donuts attached. I usually get a craving for doughnuts when I'm at a gas station but having a Dunkin Donuts right there makes it impossible to resist that craving. Overall, if you need a quick snack, decent priced gas and a clean bathroom, Pilot is always a decent choice. Our local Pilot also has a restaurant and clean bathroom. They are usually fairly consistent with being clean and fairly average with their gas prices.
