Something about Dunkin' Donuts around here, I have yet to find a good one. This morning, I ordered a peppermint mocha and one donut. I did the online ordering which was easy. When I got to the drive-through, I was told the peppermint mocha is no longer in season. Odd since it's still well before Christmas. The lady in the drive-through was very difficult to understand, but I ended up with a caramel mocha. When I got to the window, I got my coffee and no donut. It was rather awkward when I just sat there. The man asked me if I needed something else and I told him I had ordered a donut. He asked me what doughnut and then handed it out the window. I'm not sure why I bothered to do the online ordering if this was how the experience would end up. The coffee was ok. The donut was the usual Dunkin standard. Overall, not good. I won't be back. I felt like customer service and quality were lacking. There are other options on my way to work, I'll stick with those. read more

The staff move at a snail's pace and seem completely unconcerned about how much they inconvenience their customers. Expect to wait at least ten minutes--sometimes longer--because there's no sense of urgency to get orders completed. The employees would rather stand around chatting with each other than actually help the people waiting. The attitude here is unbelievable, and it's clear that customer service is not a priority. I am writing this review because I am still deeply disappointed by my first visit to this location. As a local resident, I was hoping for a convenient coffee spot, but the service and quality were both severely lacking. The drive-thru cashier became visibly and increasingly frustrated as I asked for items that were unavailable. The tension was so high that I had to ask if she was okay and felt terrified to complete my simple order (a Medium coffee and two strawberry doughnutts). The overall interaction felt reluctant and unwelcoming. My coffee was severely substandard. It tasted like coffee-flavored syrup, not the quality coffee I enjoy from other Dunkin' locations. The combination of hostile service and a poorly made product makes this location a serious disappointment. Management needs to urgently address both staff demeanor and product consistency. read more

Was in need of a quick pick me up!! & opted to try this yummy Butter Toffee flavored latte. So cozy and delicious! I prefer to be in my Pj's, on my couch cuddled up under a comfy throw blanket on this cold day...however I'm sitting at my desk with my space heater pumping to keep me warm! LOL!!! Anyhoo- this drink is LOVE...it's kind of on the sweeter side...I typically prefer my coffee BLACK...no sugar...no cream...maybe a shot of the unsweetened Toasted Almond or Blueberry flavor shots...but today I just wanted to give this drink a try. & I'm glad I did. So I try not to leave reviews, like yeah sometimes food joints get the ordered wrong. That happens, but when I find literal trash in my drink I feel I am obligated at that point to write a review. I went to the drive thru this morning to order some donut holes for my kids and drink. The customer service was fine, everyone was nice and the food came out quick. As I was driving home I saw a little white thing in the drink but didn't think anything of it, maybe it was cream or something that didn't mix right away. No biggie. Get gone finished the drink was pouring the ice into the sink to throw the cup away and I look down and this thing is sitting on top of the ice. Mystery solved as to what was in there. Now I'm just a little astounded that this piece of trash/plastic ended up in my drink. Like was the person making this doing it with a blindfold on a dare? So today I went to this location wanting some Munchins!! Yet they had brought back the Vanilla Bean Coolatas and that's been my drug of choice since my ballston va days!. So one nice guy waited on me then a tall guy came up looking around I'm like you looking for my mama he said yeah I made her this drink!... If I can read this place to zero I would. They have the worst customer service of any dunkin' donuts I've been to anywhere in the States. I usually only get coffee from here during the week when I'm in a rush and even then they're just less than pleasant. But it's close to my house so I assessed that was probably due to the morning rush and rude people. Today was different I decided to stop and get food and coffee on the way to a meeting. I went through the drive-through and asked for a pretzel and ham sandwich without cheese because I cannot eat cheese The lady said okay and charged me for the sandwich. They proceeded to give me the sandwich with cheese I pulled around walked inside show them and had cheese on it to which they pointed to the menu instead it has cheese. And walked away as if she had some sort of a mic drop moment. I politely said you could have said you cannot take the cheese off and I would have been fine with that at this time three other employees turned around and said it has cheese on it with some level of frustration. I'm highly upset! I have been to this Dunkin literally more than 100 times and never had a problem with my receipt or how much I've paid for anything. I went into Dunkin' today after not having been there for awhile and I noticed management was different. After I paid for my order and received my receipt I drove off. It wasn't until after I left I realized I was charged $0.50 for ordering LESS THAN THE STANDARD AMOUNT OF ICE!!! Are you kidding me?!! I'm saving you ice for the next person and you're charging me? I'm a bit suspect of the Pakistan guy doing window service. He didn't seem very friendly and he was unwilling to provide a good customer service experience with a smile and a courtesy thank you; even after I said thank you to his face. The donut served was stale, probably trying to get rid of the oldest donuts first. :( I wonder if it's a race complex he has/is having _ amid the BLM movement for reform. In a small, enclosed business such as DD where customers are not permitted on the inside, thus, unable to observe inside ops, I'd make a better effort to be more inviting and friendly to customers. The entire staff needs to be let go or retrain the salvageable. There is zero emphasis on creating a welcoming environment. Everyone looks miserable and they treat the customers the same exact way. The community deserves much better. I'm most definitely getting my coffee at the new Starbucks location in the area. This Dunkin' is just consistently bad. I was 15 minutes early for a game before I stopped here, and ended up being 15 minutes late. And this was after ordering online. They claimed they didn't have enough staff to open the inside. I only waited because I knew I would never get my $15 back. Today I ordered a cold brew with brown sugar foam. I get there and there is no foam, AND she had an attitude about it, trying to (incorrectly) tell me what I ordered. The sticker clearly said that it was a black cold brew coffee with brown sugar foam. So they added REGULAR foam to a drink that had brown sugar flavor. So the drink wasn't even close to being correct. No apology. No question of remaking the drink. read more

There was discussion between employees and it was determined that I needed to pay for a cup of water. I get that cups cost money, I get that water cost money, I get that employees must be paid. I am very unhappy with the treatment I received at the Dunkin Donuts at 4705 S. Crain Hwy in Upper Marlboro, MD. I was trying to use my T-Mobile Tuesday gift offer. I have used this every week. So, I know you can get a chocolate or carmel latte. I usually purchase the Carmel. But, I decided I wanted the chocolate this time. I have ordered this before. But, this time the woman, S. Sanjay, refused to give it to me. She claimed that the one I said was not part of the offer. So, as not to cause a problem, I said ok and asked for the Carmel latte. She then claimed that it too was not part of the promotion. At that point, I explained that I know some carmel latte was part of the promotion because I get it every week. She stood her ground. So, I asked for the manager. She refused to get the manager. I went to another employee. She tried to figure out what was going on. She was obviously uncomfortable with getting involved. So, I asked for the manager. At that point, Ms. Sanjay enters the conversation and blatantly lies and says the manager isn't there. I laugh and said what is wrong with you people. You are lying. At that point, fortunately, the manager, who was working in the back with someone, happens to walk out. I tell him what happen. He scans my phone and of course the offer works. This is actually the second time Ms. Sanjay has done this. Some time ago when the offer was a donut, she refused me then. Because it was the first time I used it, I trusted her. There is not much to really say about DD here are some that the food isn't really that good but for the most the are all the same the coffee and other drinks are made the same way so they should taste the same from franchise to franchise. I always try to give workers the benefit of doubt bc in most customer service jobs, the customers are crazy. But not today, I said "hello morning how are you!" Trying to be nice while ordering she ignored that, rushed me everytime I ordered something, before I could even finish she said my total and I had to say I wanted to get something else. Ordered the turkey sausage sandwich and wanted to confirm that she heard the turkey part and her tone was so rude. Anyway, tried to kill her with kindness again once paying and said "I hope you are having a great morning" she looked at me and just proceeded to say the price.
