First off with Dunkin Donuts and Popeyes chicken so close it hard to hear them and them the customers at the drive thru. I was asking what type of herbal teas they had but couldn't understand. well Chasity takes it upon herself to come on the microphone and scream we have hibiscus hibiscus tea! Not sure about the rest of y'all but I run on Dunky-D. Like to know I can pull in anywhere in the country with the extreme likelihood of acquiring tasty baked goods and yummy fresh coffee... Got a friendly greeting walking in and polite efficient service: Bismarck, Old Fashioned, coffee black. This store continues the trend to smaller donut-only shops and executes well. We went there for a coffee and donuts, Brandi took our order and had an awful attitude. She was rude the entire time we ordered and didn't get the order correct over the speaker. When we got the coffee it was mostly milk and did not have the flavor we asked for in it. The only good thing there were the donuts we got. read more

When Dunkin' donuts first came to LaGrange, I was excited. The staff was friendly and courteous and the donuts were fresh. In the last 24 hours, I went back to Dunkin' donuts to get six. The person working the front counter acted as if I was bothering her and quite snappy about taking my order and I don't mean that in a good way. Out of the six donuts that I ordered four of those were stale. Now I used to get this kind of bad service and bad food when I went to Lynette Alabama, now I'm getting it here in my LaGrange store. Went to Valley, AL Dunkin location, food is pretty good, coffee great. However they raised all the prices sky high, but failed to put up new drive thru menu prices! I was sticker shocked at my bill at the window- $8.45 for sausages, egg, cheese croissant, med coffee, and water! They changed 1.00 for water. When breakfast costs more than lunch. Alright everyone I want to firstly publicly recognize my personal bias. This is the Dunkin Donuts in the small town I currently reside in and I LOVE IT. But okay okay, before you dismiss this as "the local girl obsessed with her sorry excuse for a local coffee shop" let me tell you WHY I love it and what stands out for me. Firstly, I will admit I am a huge Dunkin fan. If you are too - you know to expect all the usual goods offered. A few other highlights: most Dunkin donut shops have their bakery items delivered from a Dunkin Certified bakery, this location is one of the few with a baker still in shop. I know this partly because I've grown to be friends with many of the workers here - and they are all excellent. I have never had a bad experience, service is always quick, kind, and servers go over and above. I once ordered a medium iced latte and the server accidentally made to much and gave me two full cups of medium latte. THE LOVE. If you happen to pass by exit 79 and are thinking "man, I could use some coffee ASAP" come on over to the local Valley Dunkin. read more

I've been there hours after opening and no one is taking orders and people are turning around. I've also been there when it takes 20 mins for coffee and a donut. I occasionally hit this drive-thru because it's near my house. For some unknown reason I always have to repeat everything I say two or three times, and if I order a donut that will always add one more "what was your donut again?" when I get up to the window. I suspect their point-of-sale device needs a better workflow because they ask the strangest questions that are unrelated to your order, often interrupting the actual order to ask questions like "Are you paying by cash or card?" Everyone who works there is very polite, but their management seems to have a system design and/or training deficiency that makes it a very hit-or-miss customer experience. I hate to tell Dunkin', but this little town has two other donut places with waaaay better service. They may find it hard to stay in business if these problems aren't resolved. read more

Finally doing a review after a horrid experience Saturday AM. We were the only customers in the store with more than 5 employees working. 2 were standing at the register conversing with each other talking about a policy sheet they had to sign and how they weren't going to sign it. One of the employees walked off and still the remaining staff member didn't acknowledge, greet or offer to take our order. I just began talking and ordered, paid walking to the PU area. We had asked for less ice in our drinks, after observing the cups filled with ice I got the managers attention stating we had asked for less ice, she snidely asked "Have you gotten them yet?" In shock and horror I simply stated no, that we hadn't, then my partner stated no you won't speak to us in that way.. Erica, the manager began talking over us and telling us we weren't aware of their procedures and we can't talk to her like that. I went to the valley Dunkin Donuts last week to order several dozen donuts as a team order. So we went inside, and I stood at the counter, with nobody else in the store, and the two people behind the counter continued to carry on their conversation for several minutes before they even acknowledged that we were at the counter. In fact, they only greeted us as we walked out the door after getting no service. This wasn't near closing either. It was at 1:00pm. read more

Donna is one of the managers at the Lanett store. She restored my faith in humanity. There truly ARE honest people in this world. During a recent visit I left, leaving my purse at the table only to return and find it gone. I gave my name and phone number to an associate. She contacted manager Donna who had recently gone off duty. Donna surprised me with a phone call while I was panicking at a local gas station. Her actions went above and beyond expectations when she brought the purse to me while I was stranded with no gas or money to get home. She said she had seen it and set it aside so nothing would happen to it. She is truly an angel. Her store is clean and beautiful. Her employees were kind and appeared well trained. The food was good. I am very greatfull and highly recommend a visit. Thank you Donna, my hero! read more

I get consistently terrible service from the irritable and slow workers at this location. The donuts are never fresh, and the clerks take forever to simply pour a coffee and hand over a two-day-old donut. I'll actually see them sitting there like a tortoise while my coffee is ready. How hard is it to grab one of those half-stale donuts so I can go on with my day? The tops on the hot coffee cups spill everywhere. I actually had a girl tortoisely hand me a cup with coffee dripping all over it, with a look on her face like--"will he notice?" Of course I notice you tortoise! That cup is sopping wet with coffee, as if you dunked it into a vat of coffee rather than pouring it! I looked at her and shook my head. She knew she was wrong. Another time when being handed the hot coffee with those terrible tops it literally exploded in my hand and the clerk just looked at me like a tortoise. I complained as this genuinely burned me! My skin was red and inflamed for an hour after, and I'm black, so that is saying something. The manager said the company sent the wrong tops. How about you fix that then, huh? It is an actual health hazard you tortoise! The clerks have the worst attitudes of any place I have ever been. Last time I asked for several donuts pictured on the menu and was told they weren't available by the most apathetic drive-thru clerk ever. I finally asked her what donuts they have and she said "the ones on the menu." Seriously!? Tell me what they are then you tortoise! We have all had bad service at chain restaurants where the workers are "in the struggle," hate their jobs, and perhaps their lives, but I have never gotten such consistently terrible service from one particular location in my entire life. If they close down they deserve it, and probably the only reason they have stayed around this long is the optimal location off the interstate, baiting people who don't know they will be dealing with tortoises. read more

Better not go to this store in the Valley. Bad customer service. The associates there are not informed how to make frozen coffee. I ordered one and they gave me one with ice cubes, not crushed or like they have anywhere else. Instead they told me they do not make frozen coffees'. I have tried a couple DD's in the city I live for my morning coffee and the service is always terrible and the coffee rarely tastes like it's supposed to. I started working in West Point and went up to the Valley exit to try this DD and I LOVE it. Its always clean and the employees are always friendly. Coffee is always tasty. On Sunday, April 15,2018 at around 1pm I had the displeasure of stopping here for coffee and doughnuts. Since I was traveling, I went in the shop rather than go through the drive thru. There were 3 ladies behind the counter and one tall lady working the drive thru. Total of 4. The girl at the cash register said some one will be with you in a minute.After more than 10 minutes of waiting for either one of them to acknowledge my presence, give eye contact or take my order, I left. The person at the drive thru looked back several times but said nothing. I did not make a scene. I never beg an establishment to take my money. This was beyond poor customer service.
