Ordered pad woon sen, three different rolls, and Thai spring rolls. Drive 30 min to pick up, and we get home with spicy shrimp soup, two rolls and no spring rolls. Paid $50 and got $30 worth of food. The pad woon sen is $14 on their menu, but they sent us home with a $6 soup. Highly disappointed and will not return. The soup was good, and the rainbow roll was mediocre at best. read more

1 DOLLAR FOR YUM YUM !!! when I paid the ridiculous price of 1 dollar for yum yum I thought I would be receiving a large amount of it, no I was wrong just a below average little cup half full of sauce. Then let me open the box to find half fried half regular rice mixed together as if to spread it cause they ran out of fried rice. And Grey sesame chicken it was soggy and hard all at the same time while being grey in color while the gross sauce covered like oil. Horrible .. the egg drop soup was not good the egg rolls was not crispy. I got the sesame chicken and fried rice and the sesame chicken was made from dark meat I did not like it at all. The fried rice was not fried rice it looked and tasted just like regular yellow rice so I asked the waiter if it was fried rice and he said yes yes it was fried rice. No No. It was not like and fried rice I have ever had. It was only yellow looking rice...no onions no egg no peas and carrots and no kind of soy sauce nothing. I do not recommend. My hubby got pepper steak and he liked it so that's the only reason I didn't give just one star. read more

Looks beautiful on the inside besides the bathrooms..They were disgusting. Sticky floors, nasty unflushed toilets, Garbage can with no top In a stall with a poop stain on the side of the trash bag. I ordered fried rice but It didn't have anything In It.. literally was just oiled up rice that was fried. too much liquid was In the container and It spilled over the kungpow chicken tasted pretty good though. Iced tea tasted horrible It definitely wasn't fresh. Asked for half sweet half unsweet and Its completely sweet and taste almost like medicine the after taste was so bad. Waited for an hour after ordering our food. There was a roach crawling on the wall. When we said something about the wait to the manager she said "ohh you waited an hour? Ordered food for delivery and they charged my credit card over $70.00. I missed a phone call from them and was told in a message they were to busy to make my food. The sad thing was I would have waited longer for it to be delivered. Hopefully they will refund my money because it debited from my checking account. Food is great. Service is pretty good. Best authentic Chinese food I've found outside a china town. Ask for the chinese menu and try the potato beef (the ginger is strong, but it's exactly how it's supposed to be). Their wings are also quite good, although not chinese. Also, for the wannabe Zoologist below, the turtles are red eared sliders. They are AQUATIC turtles, not land. They'd be unhappy outside the water. read more

Garbage. My boyfriend and I both ordered the hibachi teriyaki chicken. No teriyaki sauce on the sorry excuse for chicken. Cold vegetables, and bell pepper in the mix of veggies which I have never seen before at a hibachi place. Rice tasted like nothing. All of it was cold. The yum yum sauce was separating in the bottle as if it had been sitting for months. If you're hungry for Japanese, go to Wasabi right next to it instead. read more

The food is a little above mediocre and the service is fine, but the place just smells. It might be a combination of the bathrooms being poorly maintained and the pond never being cleaned. Speaking of the pond, they've got a terrapin (LAND TURTLE) in a 99% WATER pond/aquarium. When I told them about it, they said, "Yeah, we've been told that 100 times. He's happy." Did he tell you he was happy? Did his mother send a card from home thanking you for taking such good care of him? Does he smile and give you a thumbs up? HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT? Definitely some of the best Chinese food I've experienced. Being from California, fresh ingredients are the norm; in Alabama on the other hand, vegetables like broccoli, asparagus, etc seem to fall short in color and crispness. But Wok never disappoints. The shrimp fried rice and Sesame Chicken are amazing. Dinner time can get a little pricey because oddly, they don't offer combination plates. Lunch specials are available everyday from 11 to 3pm for around $6.50. You get an entree and soup or eggroll. The cool little log cabin look, plus awesome chinese food make for a cute place to bring a date. It's proximity to my job make it a staple in my work week, too. read more

The owners used to run the same restaurant business in southern California so these noodles brought me back home. It's a bit of a drive but the owners were so friendly. This was one of the worst delivery experiences I've ever had. I travel extensively and often have a hankering for Chinese and sushi. I'm currently staying in a hotel and work long hours so I found Wok n Roll on yelp, it had good reviews, and they delivered... all sounds good. I order Veggie Lo Mein, a couple egg rolls, and 2 sushi rolls. The food arrives and I unbag everything to find that I have no utensils or napkins.. I then have to go downstairs to the front desk and, lucklily, they had a couple packets of forks and napkins. The Lo Mein was decent and the egg rolls were pretty good, but the sushi was completely inedible. Both rolls that I ordered had Avocado in them and on my first bite on the first roll I thought there was a bone in it. In actuality, it was the Avocado HARD AS A ROCK. Every. Single. Piece. On both rolls. How do you cut up the avocado and not know that its probably bending your knife because it's so hard?! Also the rice was tough and you could tell it was just a premade rice wrap. Completely let down and disgusted. Would not order or recommend to anyone. Chinese hankering no longer. A complete disappointment. read more

Was pleasantly surprised to get such delicious Indian Chinese food at this restaurant at a very affordable price . We ordered the vegetarian spring rolls, Indian style fried rice, Indian style hot and sour soup and Singapore street noodles. We asked the order to be made Indian spicy. Everything tasted amazing and we asked for the chili oil on the side which helped spice up the food even more. The soup was served with fried noodles. This is a favorite dive of ours. Fresh, authentic Thai is awesome good and Chinese food is good. We live the Tom Ghai(?)Coconut chicken soup and Thai fresh spring rolls. I went to a trendy New York Thai place and ordered these things there and couldn't believe how bad it was compared to our little Wok N Roll. Very friendly, love, love, love this place! Never too crowded--don't let that scare you, and I've heard sushi isn't their strong suit. read more

I came here on a recommendation from friends and I was pleased with my experience. The Thai food I ordered was wonderfully spicy. The portions are generous and everyone I know hasn't had any complaints about the Thai and Chinese flavors. None of us have tried their sushi so I can't say anything for its flavor and quality. The best part of our experience was the funniest and most efficient waiter I've ever met. Now, on to the smell....it's the turtles, I think. I have NEVER seen turtles in a restaurant, and that's for a reason--I've lived with one for over ten years and, in addition to the salmonella the carry naturally, their habitats MUST be maintained, and the one here is probably the source of that off-putting odor. The best thing on the menu is definitely the house special fried rice. It is overflowing with shrimp, pork, and chicken. It is full of flavor. The portions are more than generous for the price. When I order takeout, the rice takes up the entire styro takeout box. It's plenty for two to share. The spring rolls are always a good appetizer. They are served piping hot. Their broccoli with garlic sauce is also delicious and packs quite a bite! The Thai fried rice is also good but very spicy!! The worst thing about the place is that the inter decor and fixtures could be pretty nice but seem to not be well cared for. Huge portions, great prices, amazing food, but mediocre service. I live in downtown Auburn and drive out here whenever I'm craving Thai. Most definitely the best in the area. The pad see eaw is incredible. The curries are good too, but be warned they can get very spicy! Make sure you ask for a more mild one if you are sensitive to spice. The chicken lettuce wrap starter is a must. I wish I could say that I've tried a lot of their diverse menu, but I stick to the things that I love. That being said, I haven't had anything that wasn't worth getting again! Definitely give this place a try, but don't go if you're in a hurry. Service can be quite slow. read more
