Their take on the McFlurry, basically a milk shake with candy pieces, is a flop. It doesn't work. Just not blended properly at all. Tried a few times. Bruster's is definitely a busy place and certainly doesn't have a problem keeping customers returning, but they should definitely keep working on flavors before just sending them out. You could stand there all day like an inconsiderate a-hole trying all the flavors, but in the end you'd realize that of the 50 new flavors, only like 6 work. If you're in the mood to try something new and unique, and are okay with weird combinations that may need to come with a tall glass of water, go for it. Fortunately, this location is right off I-85 and is easy to reach. It looks to be a fairly new restaurant or at least it looks that way. We ordered at the drive-thru and actually received our order faster than I expected. The burgers are thin and smashed but absolutely delicious. I had the jalapeño burger which comes with fresh, chopped jalapeños. Loved it. Their fries are unique to fast food because they are so thin. Think shoe string fries. They are hot, crispy, and my favorite of all the chains. The young lady at the window was sweet and efficient. Definitely recommend this place but it is on the higher price side for fast food.
